Local police should come and check on this place since so many were walking out on the water that is frozen —- can you say moving water

An absolute must visit location. Blast from the past with souvenirs, trinkets, drinks and snacks. Sometimes there's live music. Well worth the drive.

Wow! The moment you walk in you are welcomed and with a fire burning in the stove and local musicians both singing and playing the atmosphere is both warm and delightful! Area gifts and crafts add to the festive nature of this well stocked general store.

Love this place. Dope community. Super friendly people. Hung out on a Sunday to play music. Grabbed a shirt and talked to the locals. Everyone was great.

A small town on the banks of the Ohio River. The locals are amazing. Check out the flood markers on the one long building.

If your in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area Rabbit Hash is a must. Its just a small country town tucked away next to the Mighty Ohio. But its charm is like no other. People are friendly, dogs are friendly and it will transform you back to the simpler days if only for a few hours. Walking into the general store and seeing all the old types of candies, drinks, and merchandise will have you repeating "Oh I remember these" or "gosh I haven't had one of these since...." Grab you a Grape Neehi and a moonpie and sit a spell. Reminisce about the good old days! You can also do some wine tasting, look at/buy some local crafts/antiques. Or have a bite to eat at Chef Hip E's! (don't let the address throw you off. Says Burlington but its actually Rabbit Hash) You won't be disappointed.

Rabbit has General store is a must see destination, location. It is quaint historic building in a tiny town that seems almost make-believe, where the mayor is a dog.

Country stores, gift stores. Great barbecue on bun with Cole slaw. Overlooks the Ohio River. Plenty of motorcycle's riding around and flashing cars. Lots of dogs laying around potbelly stove. Looks like something you would see in the movie. Go check it out. You will enjoy.

Love this little store. Prices are really good and they have so many novelties to look at and purchase. The town dogs are always around lounging in the floor. The cashier was also super nice

Love this place, have been coming for years! Lots of cool stuff to see, walk-up river view, and they always have the best rootbeer in the fridge! Great spot for picture taking as well, so unique! If you love dogs, you'll be happy to find several of them hanging outside or inside the shop!

Excellent place to go and hang out for while especially if your a biker. Great country riding to get to The Hash. Great like minded people if your into the MC Culture. The general store has great nostalgic treasures you just have to see. Plenty of great sandwiches to enjoy if you get hungry. I always make it a point to stop by the Hash if I'm in NKY.

It's a nice drive on some old Boone County roads to get down to the Ohio River where this historic country store is located. While there enjoy the scenery, the shops, and the food. The trip is nice on a motorcycle with the winding roads and views.

This general store is a gem, full of history and cool items that are fun to browse. Right nearby is a barbecue place with fantastic, fresh, and great-tasting food. It’s a perfect stop if you love good food and local history. Overall, a great place to visit.

we’ve traveled across the country, visiting countless small mountain towns/hidden little villages—Rabbit Hash is a very Appalachian mini village that is worth visiting! we arrived earlier in the day, which is recommended if you don’t want to deal with the crowds. we brought our dog, who is very friendly, but keep in mind they have lots of dogs roaming off leash (they all were friendly)! just two quirky shops, a restaurant and pit toilets! we stayed for about an hour or so, which felt like enough time for us. we drove through later in the day and 100 motorcyclists were parked there, so it definitely becomes a hotspot as the day goes on! pretty drive.

The general store is notably an attraction town preserving it's history as an Ohio River town exemplified by the General Store packed full of snacks and candy, t shirts and some artisan goods. It's just a happy lady's back place with their own brew and plenty of dogs on the porch. The road in can be tight but there is parking as the crowd is revolving.

What a delightful place! This small-town general store captures the charm of days gone by with its warm, inviting atmosphere and an eclectic mix of treasures. The creaky wooden floors, the carefully arranged shelves, and the low, cozy ceiling make it feel like stepping back in time. Every corner is packed with unique items — from hand-painted pottery and woven baskets to quirky t-shirts and one-of-a-kind hats. The store proudly features local crafts, vintage finds. What really makes this place stand out is its authentic, old-timey feel. The handwritten signs, rustic ladders, and the carefully curated selection of goods all contribute to an experience that’s part museum, part treasure hunt. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours exploring and still find something new to admire. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this little gem.

Always a favorite place to go when back home visiting. Absolutely adorable old time general store that sits on the river. Excellent place to drive to, get a drink and snack, and chill at their picnic tables. Very rustic and relaxing.

Such a unique area... Rabbit Hash is on the National Register of Historic Places. The general store is just that... An old, unique store filled with just about everything you could imagine, including the dog, Pablo, running for mayor of course. Lots of folks hanging around inside and outside, sitting on the porch, having a relaxed conversation and a good old time. Worth the stop!!

Really worth a detour. Sadly, there was no place to park so I couldn’t visit the inside. Setting is great as it sits along the Ohio River. A few different shops

This is one of my go to spots on a pretty, sunny 🌞 day. Just the drive down is so beautiful and scenic, it's a piece of sanity. Relaxing atmosphere. Summertime local bands, with pig roast and cold beer 🍺 if you go one time, you will be back.

Been here a few times and brought some friends along today that have never visited before. The General Store is a great place to visit that has been Established since 1831. It's a nice ride/drive to check out

Fun little town to go to. The atmosphere is laid back, and comfortable. My husband and I rode our motorcycles there on a day trip. There was an election getting ready to happen for the new dog mayor. The dogs were hanging out. There was guys playing bluegrass music. The food was really good. Lots of cool things in the general store.

Super fun day trip. We spent about 90 minutes exploring around and inside the door. Super family friendly and a great past from the past. My kiddos said it was like a mini Gatlinburg.

A must see little town. It's right by the river because it was a riverboat stop, back in its hay day. Bikers love visiting because of the winding roads to get there. I was told that in the summer they are so busy with families that its hard to find parking. It's a little drive through town that you will want to stop at because of its uniqueness.
