Stand up business with great leadership. Very moral and ethical business model. Great people to work with that will do the right thing by their customers, suppliers and vendors.
Decent place. Really easy to drop a off and organized. I rated it a 2 star because I just took a small load since it’s not somewhere I typically go to which I take haul scrap every weekend and they are paying $50 dollars less than everyone else I would be a regular if they competed with everyone else. It’s my fault for assuming they would be close in pay. Prob won’t be back for that reason and I typically haul big stuff. 20 ton and they are closer to my house. But I’ll drive 1.5 hours one way for a company that pays better
When I was out there scrapping TVs flat screens dont have tubes in them they don't have chemicals in there only the tubes have the powdery stuff in them I know I took the TV with the tubes with the chemicals in it and when I broke it the gas comes out and u have to wait until the gas comes out of it and then I can remove the stuff on the inside for recycling
I came during their posted hours on the Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend 2025 and found them closed. This was after a 1 hour drive to get here. The website and their Google profile said nothing about holiday weekend hours. They also had no message on their phone, I had no way of knowing this.
I called ahead to see if they'd be ok with me showing up with some scrap shortly before closing time (I didn't want to be THAT guy). I was told that as long as I arrived before 4:45 that it would be ok. I drove 45min to arrive shortly before closing, like I'd asked, only to be informed that they were closed and couldn't do anything. I would have appreciated just being told 'no' on the phone so I wouldn't have wasted an hour and a half driving with a trailer.
I recently started recycling here. When Langley sold out to that KC company i found they really ripped me off so i went to Bailey's and I do not regret it
When you first drive-in it is your basic metal recycling yard. When you pull around back, you will be greeted by a very professional, courteous, trustworthy, good-looking guy by the name of Tburd. Once you meet him you will not want to leave. If I could rate Bailey's recycling 287 stars I would. 286 of them would go to Tburd. My wife was so impressed by him, he was all she could talk about for 8 or 9 days. Very fair deals.
It's one of the better places to take your scrap metal. The staff doesn't treat you like you are bothering them like I've found their competition does. They are friendly and help you get the stuff out of your vehicle. They notice if their coworker needs help to keep the business flowing quickly. Only downfall is location out northeast of town but I'm sure that's a plus for some as well!
Very nice and helpful staff, always my go to place to turn in scrap. I've never had to wait in line or go through a run-around with them. First place I recommend to anyone who asks.
No issues with getting cars junked. Main issue was they tore my yard up, refused to take responsibility for it, and was very rude when confronted about it. Will not be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone else
