Last winter I had to recommend this company to a guy that got a trailer bottomed out in front of a retirement home. This year my family was in a small accident BUT this company offers a Great price and had an awesome wrecker response time. Id recommend to anyone any time of year day or night Thanks a bunch
Called for a tow Friday at 8:30 a.m. and was told pickup would be in two hours. NO SHOW ! Called at 4:30 p.m. and was forwarded to a voicemal box that was full. Called again at 5:30, went to a voicemail number. Asked if they were coming that day and left number. NO RETURN CALL. Called a different company Saturday morning and had service in less than a hour. WILL NEVER USE HEARTYLAND RECOVRY AGAIN. CAN I LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS for their review?
My daughter broke down in her 2024 Electric Jeep Wagoneer in a not so great part of town. They rushed to our side in record time and were able to get us towed quickly. Thank you Chris and Ryan. You will be our first call for our towing needs.

I regularly have vehicles abandoned at my properties and require their services. Every time I call somebody always picks up the phone regardless of time and gets the job done. Courteous responsive and professional... what else do you need.

Heartland saved the day. Our truck, pulling our fifth wheel, decided to die at the service center on I-70 outside Lawrence, KS. JD came and pulled truck and camper to a safe location to unhook. Took the truck to the repair shop; changed tow trucks returned for the fifth wheel, delivered us to campground. All with a smile and professional service. Could not ask for more.
My In-laws were in a wreck that totaled their car, Jordan was great on assisting me in gathering their valuables from the car before it was salvaged. I Highly recommend Heartland Towing
I have no issue with recovery… however when you want to go public with peoples information..? Understand these folks believe they are above the law. We will see if that is true.
Towed my vehicle back to house and left key in ignition as I wasn’t home. I get home after work to find my car battery is dead due to leaving car lights on
Absolutely worst service I've ever received in my life, my fiance got offered a ride by him after he had her car on the lift. He wouldn't let he say no, then when I got close he refused to let her out. Finally after dropping the car off and she left the truck he took forever to get it off, jolted/scrapped the ground. And still charged us what I'm almost sure was double the price or he wouldn't release the car.
I am an adjuster (31 years) so I successfully work with towing companies every day. One of your drivers (9:53 am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the I-30 and I-430 interchange) was towing a vehicle with KS plates but the towing lights were not engaged. Your driver came across two lanes of traffic on I-30 (attempting to take the I-430 exit at the last second) and attempted to force me to stop or off the roadway. I understand your driver is not from Little Rock, AR so he may have been lost but traffic laws exist for a reason. I did not let your driver bully me so he acted up/out. In AR, we have a towing and recovery board (a state agency) that attempts to ensure safety for the public and the tow drivers. I am not sure if KS has a similar agency but would like to register my complaint against your driver for his unsafe operation (no lights engaged and attempting to run me off the roadway because he missed his exit). I welcome any feedback you want to offer but your driver's behavior is not acceptable.
Reckless drivers that can’t be bothered to even clean the dirt and gravel off their flatbeds so it just flies off onto your car when they weave through traffic and cut you off. Choose a better service.
You guys need to tell your driver (s) to calm down. The guy driving down 21st street today was driving like a complete fool. Weaving in and out of traffic not signaling, driving down the median, smoking some old lady with your exhaust. You know your business name is right on your truck right?
Told my dad at 8pm over the phone it was 240 if we paid that day but neglected to tell him about the after hours fee that it would add 50 dollars that started at 5pmwhich made it 290 if we picked it up that evening so we drove up there for nothing they could have told us that from the beginning. Because it was after hours when dad called so the 240 was irrelevant. And if we waited til morning it was 270. Then when they came to release my truck they didn't have the keys to unlock the gate so I was going to have to wait for one of them to run back home to get keys. Mackey mouse operation if I ever saw one they need to get thier act together.

Heartland Recovery towed our vehicle that was totaled in 2020 and made a rather traumatizing experience a little easier to handle with their punctuality, professionalism, and willingness to help.
Since then, the at-fault insurance company made a major error in filing paperwork and Heartland has gone above and beyond to help us clear up something that was not their mistake to begin with. I can’t recommend these gentlemen enough!
The gentleman that just came to jump start my vehicle for me was so nice and way earlier than expected....I would definitely recommend to a friend... To the gentleman that came to give me a jump in the Sw Topeka Blvd McDonald's parking lot thanks for your time and great attitude.
Truck was towed and they removed all my belongings and didn't tell me. I called them everyday for a week and was told they didn't do it because that's not what they do. Then out of the blue they call me to let me know they have my belongings bagged up. Ya I was p***. Not a good towing company.
Bought a car from an online auction through Heatland Recovery. The lady that helped us through the process was tremendous! Very friendly and attentive even though it was the end of her day and they were busy. Thank you for your kind service!
When told to only bring a wrecker with dollies by insurance then I called once insurance dispatched them to verify wrecker with dollies they STILL sent a flatbed. If they can't follow simple instructions ever after being explained why it had to be that way then they worthless. I don't recommend anyone use these morons.
Very nice lady at the counter, I had to surrender my car just couldn't afford the note due to covid. She was very sweet and kind in understanding my situation .
Not happy about the reason we were there, and it is very hard to find without directions. Despite what Google says, they are NOT open 24/7, not even open weekends. However, once we got there, getting the car back was no hassle and the person we dealt with was pleasant enough.
By far the worst service possible. Do not call them as they will rip you off. If they are called by the police because you were in an accident, refuse the service and call another company, you will pay less. They do not see you as a human being, they see you as an ATM. Avoid them at all costs.
These people are without a doubt the snakiest individuals I’ve dealt with in business. They stole personal processions to the amount of $1200. It’s even caught on a dash camera and they prefer to not answer calls. Deal with problems associated with the business. They are the reason why consumer advocacy exists because sociopaths like them with no empathy for people they come in contact with have no care for anything other than their stuff and everyone else is there to get taken by them.
Some people work hard to get things and become something in life but it’s jobs like these that allow heartless trashy, uneducated and filthy souls as them selves the ability to make a quick buck without having to work hard or build something to be proud of.
Unfortunately for them the loss of $1200 in property will end of costing them 10 fold by the time I’m done with them....one way or another. And that sinister smile and evil “you’re wasting my time” Oura that leaches through the phone will be a reminder of the things they will endure when I’m done exposing their shady practices to the light of day. I have tried contacting this company numerous times, in the last week regarding repossession of 33 vehicles in the Topeka/Lawrence area, apparently this company has way too much work, and not taking on anymore, cannot get a return call. Have not been able to reach anyone in the office before 9 am, nor after 4:30 pm, rarely during hours in between. Hours are not correct. Office personal girl is extremely rude and unhelpful, promises to return call and never does. Her communication skills are nothing to be desired, very unprofessional. Will seek out another company.
