Schedules a 2 pm tow. A mechanic made special arrangements for me to have my car brought in. They contacted me 40 minutes later than their pick up time stating that their vehicle Allegedly broke down that they would be late. If they were still going to be another 30 minutes at least.Cost me Getting my vehicle repaired now going to be without a vehicle for 7 to 10 days. Didn’t have the decency to contact my insurance company to let them know that they were Not going to show up on time so I could get someone else. Pathetic way to do business.
Daughter’s car was towed by them on Friday. After a girl ran into her and totaled her carShe called on Monday so progressive could come pick it up and then she could also get her stuff out of it. Left a lot of messages and they never called back. Told her on Tuesday finally that they talked to progressive and set up an appt. That is a lie. Progressive called daughter on Wednesday and said they never heard from them. They also tried to call the tow company and never had a call back. This is a very shady company and I recommend never use them. If you have a wreck and police call for a tow truck tell them do not call this place.
Absolutely horrible company. My vehicle was towed here after a wreck. After multiple attempts to call the place I just went down there to talk to someone and no one was around and my vehicle was locked behind the gate. This is making it extremely hard to get a new vehicle through my insurance as they can't pick my vehicle up because they won't answer.
I was in a car accident on Friday, and Capital Towing ended up towing my vehicle after the police contacted them. Since then, I’ve called multiple times and have not received a single response or call back until yesterday. They let me come and retrieve my things and told me they spoke with my insurance (insurance was calling them as well) and made an appointment with them to retrieve my vehicle. I talked with my insurance today and it turns out that was a flat out lie. They havent talked to them or returned their phone calls. It’s completely unacceptable to be left without answers — especially when you’re already dealing with the stress of a wreck.
Their lack of communication and basic customer service is beyond frustrating. I’ve kept records of my attempts to contact them and will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office. No one should have to chase down their own vehicle or be ignored like this.
Avoid this company if you have any choice.
Waited almost 2 hours, called, no one answered, left a message. 2 and half hours later my insurance calls and said the towing service came and I was not with the car, so they left. No text, no call. I was sitting right inside my house near the windows waiting for them. It’s 98 degrees out, I’m not waiting outside for 2 to 3 hours!
Our son was in a minor accident, and the responding Sheriff’s deputy called for a "first available" tow, which was Capital Towing Service. The driver who showed up was friendly, but after the vehicle was hauled away, no one at Capital would answer the phone when we called to get access to get remaining items out of the truck and plates off of it, and to authorize them to let Allstate insurance to come get it. My wife called and left multiple messages over three days with no response.
Frustrated, she asked me to go try them in person. When I arrived, I saw someone unlocking their gate and entering the lot, so I called again—this time, someone finally answered. I told them we wanted to remove our son’s truck from their lot and would be using a different towing company. There was no apology or explanation for the lack of responsiveness.
The invoice had no breakdown of charges—presumably including storage fees—but nothing was clearly explained. They didn’t seem surprised or concerned that we were irritated with them for never answering their phones (a common complaint looking through their reviews), or bringing in a competitor to tow the truck away.
We would have called Brown’s Super Service from the start, had the deputy not called first. That is who we ended up calling to retrieve the vehicle. Capital Towing Service fits the stereotype of a shady operation that thrives on backdoor connections. Their customer service is nonexistent, and their billing practices are entirely opaque. Avoid them at all costs.
This is one of the worst companies I’ve had to deal with. Not only did they not arrive they also failed the answer the phone. This company needs a total reconstruction. I wouldn’t have even given them one star. (0) stars from me.
Went through Progressive needed a tow for a flat tire @ 9:31 am received notice that they’re arrival time was 75-105 minutes
11:37 received text asking me if they arrived responded N
11:39 had notice for arrival in 20 minutes called provider.in route.
12:41pm called towing service and no answer gave information for a call back.
1:53 pm tried to call again but no answer nor response.
So, called Progressive .2:20 received notification that they were sending out Taylor’s Towing.
2:40 pm they were here.
So, still waiting for someone to respond. Probably never will.
But, I noticed in the reviews a pattern….. waiting to see what Excuses the owner has to say. I know according to himself that they are not the issue. Mr., if you own a business word of mouth is golden. And now you have the internet….. looking @ your reviews not good @ all. I’m not telling you what to do. But, if you want to be successful you’re going to need some major changes starting with yourself. Because at the moment, you’re reading the wrong lines and your business is truly suffering.

Our two experiences with Capital Towing have been superb. Big thanks to Lance for having me test out starting our vehicle to see that it only needed a new battery. He jumped our vehicle and gave me recommendations for a new battery. I appreciate his attention to the matter and asking good questions. Highly recommend.
So this is the worst tow company I have ever had to deal with. They were dispatched thru my insurance provider and I was given a wait time of 90-120 min. They do not answer the phone when called, I tried several times as did the insurance company. The insurance company wouldn't send a different tow company until the wait time had expired for this crap company. 3 min after a new company was assigned the new company had called me and confirmed.
Insurance company assigned this company. 40 minutes later and 5-straight to VM calls and no answer on ETA. Cancelled request and going with Elite Towing. They said they could be to me in less than 30.
I would give this company a zero but I I was not able to. My insurance company dispatched this company to assist me in a lock out I was stranded waiting on the the tow truck 2 hours later I call emergency roadside assistance and they dispatched them again they told me they will be there in 30 minutes no show so this nice Kansas Sheriff came over I explained everything to the officer
and another officer got me in my car. And all the time we was there the tow truck never showed up that’s poor service please stop accepting service if you are not going to show up that’s why it’s called emergency roadside assistance. It was an emergency!!!!!!!!

This is a horrible tow service. There is no customer service. When questioned about response time there was only excuses and attitude given back. As someone that works with the motoring public I would strongly recommend NEVER using this company. If you go through an insurance or some other second party tow service make sure that if they contact this tow company that you immediately request another tow service. This is a very very bad business.
Allen was very prompt when coming in a snow storm. He was very personable and professional. He called when he arrived at my house. I've used their services before and have been pleased each time.

Vehicle was picked up at my residence to be towed to Seaman area. Driver called twice to tell me he was running late. Vehicle was picked up at 1:00pm. As of 8:00pm it has not arrived at destination. My roadside provider said they had Vehicle trouble. No one had courtesy to call and advise me. No one will answer telephones
Do not use this company. We waited over two hours. No one showed. I tried to call them. No answer. They told my insurance company we were not there. We were. Suarez Towing was there in 15 minutes.
Addendum- I called my insurance company who said the tow was not canceled. I suggested they remove your company from their list. They agreed.
Read all of the reviews and the company’s response. You will see that they do not care about customers. If they cared about customers, they would not be snarky in their responses to reviews.
After a two-hour wait, the company never showed, claiming they could not find a vehicle. The vehicle was sitting in the driveway with me the whole time.
I attempted to call the company and received no answer. Please do not use them.
The company was provided with an Address and Phone number, and the request came from our Roadside assistance through State Farm.
Perhaps instead of being SNARKY, you could learn to read a map or make a phone call.
Company has a contract with the police department to pick up stollen cars. They did not bring car to the location asked and they did not return mulitple phone calls. So they brought the car to the lot so they could charge fees and get as much money as possible. The next day would not allow owners to pick up the car as they just wanted more money and kept telling owner the Insurance will pay for it if a claim is being filed. I understand that as most insureance will. I tried to explain to the owner we called her insurance company and the would not pay for the towing or lot storage. He kept arguing and basicly called me a lire. I DO NOT LIE the own is on a fixed income in facility we got the cheapest insurance for her as she can not drive the car but was the only car she can fit in for DRS appointmens. He was very rude and persentant in not wanting to give us the car back. I have reported them to the police department but know that wont do any good. It was our car we have every rignt to pick it up they had no business trying to keep it. it is like they was stealing it all over again. She did not deserve any of this. First off your comments calling me Karen should show everyone the kind of person you really are. I called long before your office was closed and left a message and the other times I called the mail box was full so no one could leave a message. 2nd I did not say the car was used for drugs sale or traded. 3rd yes at the time we was not sure the car was covered under insurance. 4th when we found out it was not covered YOU would NOT release the car you argued with me. Insurance called them out to town my AWD suv with no tire or rim on the front drivers due to ball joint snapping. Guy took his time getting it on the truck without damaging it further. Driver seemed nice, Great job.
My insurance assigned Capital Tow to me today at 3:15pm. Now 5:15 pm, no message or call from Capital, they won’t answer phone & no voice mail. Tried to text them also- nothing. Ins finally got through to them and they said driver was confused and thought tow was rescheduled to 9am the next morning?? I decided to cancel and asked Ins to find another tow provider. Don’t waste your time with Capital. This is my 2nd bad experience in 4 months with Capital.
Oct 2022 Worthless, an hour and a half late. Doesn’t answer phone. Didn't follow directions to bring an air bubble. Won’t go get an air bubble. Still sitting with a flat tire. Will be requesting my road side assistance to remove them from the list. Unreliable. Don’t use. Save yourself the headache, call a different company.Update, insurance company now has Elite Towing coming and they have truck mounted air compressor! Yay! Will never use Capitol Towing again. I’m so thankful I’m not on a highway with semi’s whizzing by.
No one ever loves having to call for a tow truck but I am very happy with the driver that came out today! Lance was extremely friendly and quick. I am glad I got to experience him as the first time I’ve ever needed a tow. I tried to call and leave my experience with someone but couldn’t get anyone to answer. Way to go lance you are the best!
Disabled vet here. DO NOT USE. I called for a tow and waited the 1.5hrs. I called for an update and the driver told me his boss says for him not to come out to the highway to get me. Now they wont respond. Left me stranded after waiting.

I used this towing service yesterday 3/02 and placed the call at 4:30 pm. They finally showed up at 7:08pm. I had my daughter in the car and my mother. We were stranded on 470 and was not leaving the car due to not being able to roll up the windows or lock the car. I called the driver, as we were waiting for him, and asked if he could charge my car, when he arrived, enough that I could roll up my windows and lock my doors. He agreed. After 3 hours of waiting, just like any other 9 month pregnant woman, I had to stop and use the restroom before meeting the tow truck at the shop. I noticed the windows were still rolled down, so I once again asked if we could charge it enough just so I could roll up my windows and lock the doors, but he then stated he had a wreck call that he had to get to ASAP and did not have time to do the 2 minute task and he left.
So, needless to say, if you need a honest, reliable towing service, stay away from this place.

My insurance company set up an emergency roadside assistant call for me. They gave me the number to call the towering service to check on an eta. When the guy answered the phone he was rude. Then proceeded to tell he he wouldn't be there. He didn't work for the insurance company. And here was going to call and curse them out for giving me his info. The whole interaction was rude and lacked people skills.
Worked with a professional. He wasn't much for phone conversation, but that was probably due to him being on another call when I called in my tow. He picked up and dropped off and was early to pickup. Gave exact estimate,told me it was Cash Only, and thanked me for the business at drop off.
