I really enjoyed stopping at this antique store and just roaming through on my way home from wichita.Kansas, it sits in iola right off fifty four or madison street. They have lots of rooms with a lot of different items, depending on what you are looking for you can find anything here
They are CLOSED on Sunday and Monday. Open Tuesday --- Saturday from 10-5. It has different owners. It is more friendly and hold lot more booths upstairs and downstairs. More of a variety of things.
There was a lot of merchandise and a lot of booths. For the most part, it was an enjoyable visit. In reality, things were a bit more pricey than what I would have expected, but the employee was quite friendly. I am certain that there is a lot of items that moved in and out as there are numerous vendors there.
My wife and I stopped in while staying for the weekend in Iola and had a fantastic experience. The Market Place is one the best antique stores we've been to. Great selection and hospitality. The owner Laura was incredibly kind and welcoming, she made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back!
Found what I was looking for, and so did my travel companion! A comprehensive ranger of goods, and friendly staff! Was worth the drive from chanute Kansas.
This is not only the best shop for finding the best, unique decor at great prices! They have decor for every style and add new items regularly. They also have flea market type booths with tons of cool things. But most importantly it's run by a caring wonderful woman who makes you feel right at home. I would recommend this store to any and everyone! I will continue to shop and recommend The Market Place!!
