Giving 2 stars only because Caleb has been great. Unfortunately I had to deal with the other gentleman at the counter my past 2 visits. Because of him I am choosing to take my business elsewhere. Caleb helped my choose a front bumper and got me all set and was very helpful in the process as I really wasn't sure what I wanted. He was very patient in helping me. When I went to drop my Jeep off for it to be installed Caleb wasn't there and I had to deal with the other guy at the counter. When I went to pick up my jeep after the work was complete I asked if they could please show me how to use my winch as I had never had one before. The gentleman told me that he could't because he was in a boot and I would have to wait until I brought it back in a week. I explained that we were getting ready to go on vacation and do some wheeling and would really like to go over it. Really you can't take 5 minutes to show me!!! The other gentleman at the counter could see my frustration and took me out and showed me. I took my jeep back in yesterday to have the front bumper checked as they advised me. I asked them if they could rotate the tires while they had it back there. When I went to pick up the jeep after the work was done I asked if they did the 5 tire rotation and he assured me that they had. I had also mention that I had a clanking sound and he told me it was my D ring and that I needed to tighten my winch cable so he went out to help me with that. Mind you my tires were brand new. When I looked at my spare tire I could tell that it was brand new and clearly had not been rotated! I should have asked for half my money back as they half way did the work I paid for! You need more Calebs at your front counter. This gentleman that helped me needs to work on his customer service skills!

Visited the Overland Park location looking for replacement Velcro strips for my truck bed tonneau cover. Caleb inspected the parts on my truck, recognized it as a warranty item and immediately contacted Truxedo. He handled all the details with the Truxedo representative and arranged for the replacement parts to be shipped directly to me. Parts arrived yesterday and I installed today. I'm very satisfied with the parts and impressed with Caleb's customer service.

Went to see these guys i am building a 2006 TJ Wrangler with my son. Talked to Caleb this guy is awesome. I let him pretty much build our jeep. Purchased a 4" Rubicon Lift, wheels and tires 33". Front and rear bumpers with tire carrier and winch. You can see by the pics this thing is really nice. I waited for parts to come in once they arrived these guys jumped right on it. The installers were really good walked me thru the whole process once completed. The job was flawless. Thank you Caleb and your guys!!! See you soon.

Had a rear shock lose a seal on the way to KC for the holidays and drop all the oil. Called up 4 wheel parts and the guys there were so helpful! They didn’t have the parts but got them ordered and had them there the next day and got the parts on the truck. Definitely would come to this shop again for service

Omg I wasn’t totally sure what I wanted when I went in, they helped me figure it out and it is perfect. 37x12.50 on 20x10 fuel rims. Rough country lift on a ram 3500 hd Very professional, very helpful, great at what they do!

I payed for an accessory with installation. After a month of waiting for the part to come in, I called. The person on the other end of the phone said they tried to reach me but my voicemail was full. That was a lie. So I scheduled the install. When I got my Jeep home, I found parts missing or not installed loose in the vehicle. After several emails and trips to the store, I got the missing parts and installed the missing parts/not installed parts myself. So I trusted them to something simple and they failed. Do they really expect me to trust them again with something like suspension? Hell no. Taking my business somewhere else.

Horrible lack of communication. Paid to install new winch bumper and which. Didn’t even hook up the winch so it works. Had to go buy a $5 battery terminal part. Told me my factory fog lights would work in new $2200 bumper but didn’t. They don’t care about customer service. If you want it done right go somewhere else. Upgraded from one star to 5/5 from Jared and Shawn. Edit. Spoke to Jared the asst regional manager at the Four Wheel parts in North Kansas City. He is the guy to talk to. He fixed or is fixing all my problems and communicated well and I even bought more stuff. They guys up north and the Olathe (Santa Fe) location know what they are doing. Avoid the overland park location for now. Jared is the man.

I have an arb rear differential locker in my defender. It has a leak. I bought the repair kit. I initially called this 4wd store and was told first availability was 4 weeks later. I then went to the store with the car and parts asked if they could repair it and they said yes. That would be now 3 weeks later and 160 dollars per hour paid in advance. I did that I dropped the car off oct 6 at 9 am. They called me back at 130 and told me they can’t fix it. I came back at 430 asked to speak to the manager. I video taped this. They gave me back my keys without my parts or my money. He made me wait 15 minutes before he decided to talk to me. He was the one initially I was told who would give me my money back. They have a new computer system- he doesn’t know how to use it. I waited another 15 minutes. Obviously I didn’t get any reasonable answer to why they’re incompetent and why they think wasting two hours of my time today and the 3 weeks of waiting is ok. They also on their website claim to perform oil changes. They don’t just like they can’t fix a locker they told me they could. I got nothing else

Called this place, talked to a guy named Caleb - told me to drive on over and he'd help me out with my truck. Drove all the way to this shop and 2 guys behind the counter (one of them was Caleb) didn't even bother to come assist me or anything. So I just walk around this store for about 10 mins, so no help. Another guy walks in, and sure enough, they help him right away. I'll let you, the consumer, guess what the difference was between myself and the other customer. Terrible, questionable service. If you don't look a certain way, don't even waste your time here.

If they have what you want in stock and are working right in front of you they are great. If you are not standing in front of them I didnt find them helpful. I ordered a $2000 bed cover, paid them, 4 calls and 18 days later they still had not even ordered it. I could not get a status on the phone as they would "call me back once they were able to check on it". I had to go in. I called to cancel my order and get a refund which required a manager and I never got a call back again. I had to go in to get my refund and they still wanted to try and order it again saying they could have it in 4 days. They showed me a PO that was created 10 days after I paid them to show they were working on it... I just got a refund in person. I ordered online and had it in 2 days from an online shop. I also bought a drop hitch which they had in stock. Very helpful and found what I needed. They offer 30day pricing but when prices dropped online for black friday after I bought it I didnt want to deal with them anymore and walked away from the $20 to avoid the headache of chasing it down. I really wanted to buy local but I wont be back. I was disappointed because I went local and in person for service but was treated better online.

Appointments don't matter. Not on schedule, and BAD communication. Left vehicle with them at 5pm the day prior to an appointment, and they didn't address even getting to my truck until I called them at 3:30pm, at which time they discovered I only left key fob without key. Obviously reflecting they hadn't touched the truck (or even tried), I was there within 10 minutes of them telling me this, at which time they needed me to reschedule 2 days later, or the following week. Will never return to that store.....very unfortunate as this was only the 1st step of many modifications I had planned for my truck.

I have spent a lot of time (and money) in this store. They have done several upgrades to my Raptor. Caleb is great to work with, knowledgeable and makes spending money almost too easy! Each time the installation process has been difficult. Unexpected problems and delays. The store manager (Jeff) always finds a way to make things right. I appreciate his willingness to correct issues and make you feel as though your business is important to him. I highly recommend using the Overland Park location.

Have had several product issues with things that were nothing to do with 4 Wheel and they did everything they could take care of me and make sure the work was done timely and correct. I always work with Caleb, he is a great guy and is always willing to shoot a straight answer, but also do everything he can to make sure you are satisfied. Michael from Dallas was recently in to help out and he squeezed me in and got my truck lined out without any hesitation. He literally made sure no bolt was left unturned, and he takes great pride in his work.

Have had good experience in the past, which is why I continued to shop there and I'm rating as 2 stars and not lower. To add context, I've spent approximately $5,000 there for tires, parts & service over the past 2 years. But recently made an appointment three weeks in advance for tires & service (another $2,000 purchase) and unfortunately my experience was not good at all. Going forward, I won't recommend them to anyone. They promised me same day turnaround, and I made arrangements to have my Jeep there the day before so as to avoid any delays. I called to check on my Jeep around 4 pm, and they hadn't even started the work. I would have appreciated a courtesy call way-before 4 pm to let me know about expected delays. It seems that they over-book and then count on customers to be flexible, although they certainly don't explain that expectation when they close the sale. Although it was clear to the rep that I spoke to today that I was unhappy, I was not offered any option other than to expect further delays. When I went to pick it up, no one offered to make amends. It's clear to me that their business must be doing so well, that they don't need loyal customers.

These folks are amazing! I have been in a few times picking up and exchanging parts for someone else and the folks at this store have been incredibly helpful, patient, and fantastic to work with!! The store is excellent and clean. I was impressed at the wall of lights where you can see what different spot lights, light bars, and fog lights look like. Excellent store!

This team has done a lot of work on my Jeep. Tires, wheels, lift kit, winch, and lights installed by Dave and team. Excellent work. Awesome customer service by Caleb and Jake. When something isn’t perfect, they go the extra mile. Had some tires that were vibrating and they worked tirelessly to find and fix the issue at no additional cost to me. They just made it right, as if I were more than a customer, more like a friend. A word of caution, they are usually very busy and I’ve had to be patient when waiting my turn but I feel they’re doing the best they can with the staff they have. Worth the wait.

Talked to staff on 12/2 about upgrading my 2017 JKU. It was already lifted 4" with 35" tires. Have had it almost 1 year - no issues. Decided to have the work done & ordered all the parts, scheduled for 12/19. Took it in 12/19. Auto-locker & re-gear rear end to 4.88. Dana 44 axle upgrade in the front with e-locker. Upgraded all steering components to heavy duty, installed switch panel inside Jeep for the e-locker & additional accessories. Was told it would be ready 12/20 evening. Got dropped of there from work at 4:30 pm. They forgot to quote upper & lower control arms and couldn't get it aligned properly. Told them that had to be perfect, had death-wobble on a previous Jeep. So they made me a deal and installed new control arms and aligned it. Superchip (installed at the factory) was having issues with the transmission shift points. Finally got out of there at 7:15 p.m. Had to take it back on Fri 12/21, transmission issue. Got it back around 12:30. Went back to work. Driving home, check engine light came on. Took it back Sat 12/22. Could not resolve the issue. Worked on it apparently Mon 12/24. They called my 12/26 Wed to tell me they couldn't figure it out and was taking it to the dealer on Thur. 12/27. No one called me with any updates. Called the closest Jeep dealer 12/28 at 7:20 a.m. They did not have my Jeep. Called 4Wheel parts at 9:15. "We are taking it to the dealer today." I replied "Thought you were supposed to do that yesterday?" She said "Well they either were too busy or forgot about it. We'll have something for you by noon today." - This is totally unacceptable customer service. I was happy with the work they performed however, their follow through & customer service afterwards is terrible. I realize this is probably one of those weird issues with the superchip but it was fine when I took it there. I will not use them again due to the lack of "urgency" & lack of customer service in keeping me updated on the progress in getting this vehicle back to me.

These guys did a great job installing my tires and my big-time bumper. They don't get a lot of Land Rover Discoveries in for work, but they did a great job nonetheless. When I got my Disco home I looked at their install and found that they'd taken the time to paint little lines on the new bolts / nuts to make it easy to check if they vibrate loose. Fantastic. I'll have them do more work for me in the future when I need it. Everyone is friendly, their shop is nice and clean, and they have a lot of great stuff to look at.

Do not let these people touch your truck. They have great prices because they sell a ton of volume but their installation team is a problem. They first let me have my truck back after installing my bumpers and left all the bolts out of the fender wells. Next I figured out they wired the lights to direct 12 volts where they are susceptible to being left on. The service tech rudely told me this is just how they do it. He argued about running an extra wire to 12v accessory, to make them key switched. This was clearly a short cut and the sales guy even agreed. When I inquired about who installed my bumpers they said he was gone and they were trying to get him to leave....how comforting to know he worked on my truck. I am going back to Chux from now on. Do not let them touch your truck.

Was going to add offroad lights to my truck but didn't know where to mount them so Caleb suggested I try out the pro comp headlights to replace my halogens instead. Designed for Jeep Wranglers but they fit directly into my 69 C10 and boy do they make a difference at night. I had previously picked up procomp led pod lights, which work great on my Subaru.

Took myJKU to get tires rotated asked if the could re-torque the wheel spacers while doing it. They did they would have to remove them and reinstall them, which would take 1 hour per side and be $100 for each side. Are you serious?! I installed them myself in under 10 minutes a tire. Worst part is they weren't even going to tell me the cost until i asked. They must be hurting for business trying to rip off customers like that. From the reviews I can see why. I'll be going to chucks trucks from now on

Wanted to buy a $75 aluminum winch shackle. Asked if they would be willing to snip off the tow hook today so I could install the shackle. Guy said it would take two minutes but then said he had a full schedule and didn't have time to do it that day. Really? When I called him out on it, he feeds me a line of BS about "it may take longer and I don't want to keep you waiting." If your shop is so incompetent it would take longer that FIVE minutes to snip off the hook, I'd probably rather go somewhere else anyway. I had an install with them previously scheduled for some skid plates two weeks from now. Needed the winch shackle today though. Went ahead and cancelled the skid plate install too. The guy didn't care a bit that the two-minute job cost them a sale and an install. Bottom line, this is a prime example of someone operating a business with ZERO flexibility for the customer and thought of the business's bottom line. It'd be different if it were a one or two-hour project. I'm sure the guy who started this business would love to know this cat is losing money and a customer over two minutes of extra work. Guess I'll keep my business with Chux Trux.

I get the 4 Wheel Parts magazine/catalog in the mail. In the July 2017 issue, I saw that they are running specials on gear sets and installation. So, I called number on the magazine, and they built me a package for $1,650. This price included parts and installation. I said that I would be calling back in a week to set up the installation. When I called back in the next week, I told them that I had spoken with a gentleman, and he built me a package. (Note: They are running the exact same deal in both their July and August issues.) This time, I spoke with a rude individual named Carl, a corporate employee. At this point, they sent me an email with a detailed quote, saying it would cost $3000+. This was far from the $1,379 listed in their magazine. I called back in, and they told me that the magazine was misleading. They also said that they were able to match any other shop's price. When I got a lower quote from another shop, I emailed them the quote, but they said they would not match it. This is after calling in multiple times and being put on hold every time. I will not bother with 4 Wheel Parts again

Went to the store to buy a set of tires they had on special listed on facebook. Did not see any specifics or exclusions so was ready to purchase. When trying to buy the tires the sales person was making jokes and screwing around wasting time. After it was all said and done he said they would not honor the $199 price and wanted $49.00 more per tire. This is unexceptionable and bad business. I had ordered a set of wheels earlier in the week from this company. Guess being a repeat customer means nothing. Guess they can have their wheels back too. Call before trusting their prices. They do not care how much they inconvenience you when they do wrong.

Great place with very helpful staff. I came in to get some replacement parts after my jeep was stolen and stripped of my aftermarket parts. Caleb helped me out with a discount on parts and hooked me up with a set of used tires and rims. Thanks man! You guys definitely earned a customer for life. Give that man a raise!!

Awesome staff! I was looking for tires for my truck and narrowed it to discount tire and 4 wheel parts. By the time I factored in balancing and rotations and road hazard, they beat discount tire by a few hundred bucks. Installing the tires took a little long, but their staff was very friendly and very talkative. Made for a decent time

Very friendly guys in this place! I ordered a part online, didn't even realize this store existed. Found out I could pick up my order at the local store rather than having it shipped it to my house. The store had it in two days where shipping would have taken seven. They even carried it (kind of heavy) out to my Jeep. They've got a great showroom and some knowledgeable people. If you're looking to customize your Truck or Jeep, check this place out!
