I stopped by today during lunch to grab some transmission fluid. I walked in and an older gentleman sales associate with gray hair was behind the counter talking to an older lady customer for a good 15 minutes about nearby grocery stores. I stood in line while they were catching up. Finally after 15 minutes the old lady said she had to leave. I walked up to the counter and the old gentleman associate just said "yes?" I told him I needed transmission fluid for a specific car and he said "go to the back wall, the transmission fluid's there, any of those should do." I needed specific cvt transmission fluid so no, any of those will not do. I grabbed what I needed, paid and left. This individual was not very helpful

Purchased a battery from them, within a year it was dead. Took it to my mechanic who verified and showed me that it was a bad battery. Purchased a new Interstate battery from my mechanic (better than what they sell anyway) and took the bad battery back to the store WITH the receipt. Explained what happened. They took it in the back and said they’d try to charge it and test to verify. Got a call the next day so I swung by. They never showed me the test or the battery, but claimed it was good. Said they’d try couldn’t offer me a refund, but could give me a new battery (same one) or offer store credit. Now why would they be willing to offer a replacement or store credit if the other one truly was not bad? Will NEVER purchase another penny worth of product from Advanced Auto in my lifetime.

Stopped by Advance Auto Parts on a rainy day to grab a set of windshield wipers. The employee looked up my vehicle in their system, but I was given the wrong size. When I asked for clarification, I didn’t get much of a response. I ended up trying to install them myself in the rain, with my kid in the car, and unfortunately one broke during the attempt cause i was pushing it thinking it should fit. Between the weather and having a little one with me, I wasn’t able to return them. Overall, a disappointing experience—especially when you count on a national chain like this for accuracy and service. $70 bucks down the drain.

Howard was some good, old fashioned, customer service. Very helpful, and funny. Even helped me figure out the ACTUAL year of my car (2021, by the way). Will be coming back for refreshing convo and non scripted service

I visited the store to purchase a new car battery and approached the register to ask for assistance identifying the correct one. As I walked up, the employee (an older gentleman) abruptly asked, “What do you want?” I explained what I needed and mentioned that I would also require help with the installation. His response was, “You will install it yourself.” Despite this, I waited inside the store for assistance, but he never returned to help me. I even went out and sat in my car for a few minutes, hoping someone would come, but no one did. Eventually, I decided to leave and went to O’Reilly Auto Parts instead, where I received the help I needed. That employee’s attitude was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service. He was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the interaction.

The man that checked me out at 3:21p on April 5th was deplorable. I made sure to fill out the survey and it asks if you were greeted when entering the store. Not only did that not happen, I wasn't greeted at check out either. Very awkward, but what made it worse was when scanning my product the man commented, "who buys this stuff?", shrugs his shoulders and made a face. Nothing was said to me or by me to encourage such an interaction. The rest of the check out was just as uncomfortable. Then, he turns to his coworker and asks if he'll get in trouble since he was supposed to leave at 3p. So, you're telling me this interaction never should have been possible? How did this man get hired when he has poor social skills and no filter for his mouth or facial expressions? I normally go to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's, but I made a mistake that I won't make again.

The store manager is extremely helpful. You went above and beyond to replace my battery terminals test my battery explain everything to me. He was really easy to work with. Harold was very friendly as well. Once you got through his grumpy disposition He was really very funny. The store in particular is extremely well run and is now my go to place for any car part needs. I can’t say that about all advanced auto parts. The one I’m 95th St. is not nearly as Friendly.

I just bought a Radiator hoses repairs kit and in the instructions said: put the Apply in water( room temperature) so I asked him a half cup of water( I have a cup and I know Quick trip is just on the other side). The MF said with rudeness: we don't have water !!! I swear to God never go back to any of their stores again even I was a customer for years.

2 old guys working at 9:30 on a Sunday. Walked in asking for help and was treated like I was just a dumb bobble headed girl. I knew what I wanted, asked for the part, and was told to buy a different part. When I said that’s not what I needed because changing that part out was not the first step and was unlikely to be the problem. I was then told well it happens sometimes. Sometimes doesn’t mean run out and buy the more expensive part when it’s much more likely that the problem is caused by the 1st (and yes cheaper) part. Also when I asked for a tool to borrow right there in the parking lot I was told to buy it despite the sign stating the lend tools.

Their customer service is amazing. Our battery died and there was a modification with the stock battery size. Igor helped me quickly and pleasantly even giving me grace with my frustration at the situation. He ordered a new battery right away and even gave me the core charge back. Thank you thank thank you!!

4 HD Truck Batteries: They aren't easy to find, but the guys at 119th AAP had only one and then had three more shuttled over by that afternoon. Outstanding service. BONUS: They gave me the online-only 20% discount at the counter. I would give them 10 stars, if possible. I did have to wait because they were installing a battery for an elderly customer. TOP NOTCH!

I typically have a little bit of trouble at this location. It’s near my place and there is no one else so I just deal with the flaky customer service. Today though Erica(hope I’m spelling that right) greeted me, helped me, tested and replaced my battery faster than it usually takes to check oil. She did a great job! And I will be coming back with less concern if she is there.

I stopped in to get some help determining which brake light was out… because I quite literally can’t do that on my own. The guys were extremely rude, unhelpful and LAUGHED at me while I was waiting in my car for assistance (they said they’d be with me shortly). All I needed was them to watch for the lights while I pressed the brake pedal. I left and went to the nearest Oreillys - highly recommend those guys at O’s!!!

Antonio - This guy. He has amazing customer service and really helped us out in a bind with a new battery. We were quoted at another place over $400 for a new battery plus installation on top of that. Called and spoke with Antonio and he took care of us. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back because of you. Angel - Thank you, sir, for the battery installation. You were quick and efficient, but didn't miss the important details. You guys rock.

Inappropriate, incompetent, and disturbing. Avoid. Had good experience with another location. This one, not so much. Bad customer service, inappropriate comments directed at my wife. They had trouble installing battery and ended up damaging hood of our car. Which now has to be fixed.

Today I needed a car battery. Spoke with nice man name Howard. Howard was so friendly, knowledgeable and exceptional worker. Howard gave me helpful advice on my car battery and also gave me tip to buy something for car erosion for my battery. Howard installed my battery with no problems and it was pleasure talking with him the whole time he installed my battery. Howard is exceptional worker. Anytime I have to come to Advance Auto I will ask for Howard. Thank you again for your job well done Reggie.

I like this company, they always treat me right. Employees are polite and helpful, which isn't as common as it used to be. In fact, to get to Advance I drive past two closer parts stores who treated me poorly, were overpriced, or just had ignoramuses working for them.

Had my battery die on me and came to get a new one. Was instantly greeted and helped me right away. The person who helped me was super efficient. Got me in and out in less than 10 min. They even helped me put the battery in which I didn’t think they did that! Thank u!

I've been there a few times in the last few months, and pretty much every time, I have dealt with JT, and he's been super helpful and always communicates what is going on. Every time I walk in, he acknowledges me when he sees me, and if he is available, he is always quick to help.

I recently visited this store and was amazed at how clean and organized It was. I have been a store manager at AutoZone for a few years and can tell you this store is top notch. This is not an easy thing to accomplish even in the best of work environment. The store manager greeted me and walked me to the items I need. She was very friendly. I definitely will be back.

I went in here yesterday to buy some electrical connectors. Simple stuff. I went to check out. She asked for my phone number I gave it to her. She started asking for my name address and what not. I politely said no thank you. I showed my military ID and asked for a military discount. The supervisor then came over and refused my military discount because I wouldn't give them my address and personal information. I will never be shopping here again. I will also forever speak negatively of advanced auto parts for this experience.

Great customer service. I placed an online order for windshield wiper blades and the pick up was seamless. I was having difficulty changing the blades myself but one of the person working didn't hesitate to help me. He was very friendly, helpful and even suggested I stay inside due to the cold temperatures until he was finished changing the blades. His help was greatly appreciated!

I don't typically write reviews often, but the exceptional experience at this Advance Auto Parts made me feel compelled to recognize the employees that helped me. Ray and Sobir were very helpful, proactive, and provided me with the correct part that I needed, and at a reasonable price. Awesome guys. This went above and beyond my expectations.

These guys are great. I've bought tons of things here for 5+ years. Pretty much a regular customer at this point Haha. They have a decent selection of detailing products and they always have the fluids I need to keep my car topped off. Would recommend!
