Took my car to VW service center in Lee’s Summit and had a laundry list of issues. I was referred to Volkswerk by a former client. They fixed all the issues that the dealer couldn’t fix and they charged me less. If you have a VW that needs to be serviced, take it to Volkswerk. The work was high quality and the turnaround was quick. Highly Recommended!!!!!!!
Best shop for my VW Tiguan, but also best shop in general! Very nice, knowledgeable, and an honest pricing/repairs! I will certainly be returning for all oil changes and any other maintenance items. I highly suggested them to my coworkers, people I know, and friends, so why not Google too! High praises and you will not be disappointed.

Ended up taking my Gti to get diagnosed here and got told that the timing chain expanded and jumped 2 teeth. they told me the valves bent and the cylinder head was junk and it needed $6,000 plus in repairs. We took it to a dealer and the only issue was the fuel pump relay. it ended up costing $160 in total. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY’LL CHEAT YOU FOR YOUR MONEY.
They charged me $275 for an oil change. i did it myself for $50. they told me that they had to take out a part of the engine which is why it costs so much. there was nothing i had to remove in order to change my oil. only the screw at the bottom of the oil tank to drain the oil. They are scammers. Horrible shop. lesson learned do things yourself.

I recently took my GTI here and the service was great. Very friendly and helpful. They fixed all the issues with my car for a few hundred dollars as opposed to the $12,000 Lee’s Summit VW said it would cost. I highly recommend this place.
The team at Volkswerks really took care of us. We had been traveling and visiting family in Kansas City when my Volkswagen's battery failed. After calling around to all the dealerships and being told there would be a 5-7 day wait to get our car in we called Volkswerks and they were able to get the car in that afternoon and fixed by the next day. The cost was reasonable and they truly saved us a lot of stress.
I brought my Passat here when it was having issues warming up. It was $400 to fix and for an oil change. After 3 weeks I began having the same issue only a little worse. I took it back and it was another $400 to fix what they said the problem was. They called and said it was done. I picked it up after they closed. When I drove off the lot now an EPC light was on and I almost didn’t make it home. The next day they said to bring it back and charged me another $80. This time it seemed like it was finally okay. Well now, all of a sudden my air conditioning and heater are not working! When called about it they said it’s just another coincidence and to bring it back! I’m sorry but never have I taken my car somewhere and something different was wrong with it when I picked it up!!! Beware going here!
This has been the best experience going to a repair shop I have ever had and I've only owned used cars ( so I've been to a lot) David explained everything. He added no pressure and prices were very competitive. He even advised me that I had a recall and to contact the dealer to get my issue fixed and as we know that was pure integrity which a lot of places lack. As long as I have a volkswagen this is the only place I will take it to.
The best volkswagen shop you could take your car too. Very professional in the way the operate and are completely honest. Turn around time is good and the prices are extremely fair.
Great shop. They have a lot of experience on VWs and are honest about what you need done. They got my car done over the weekend and it was super simple to drop off and pick up.

Chris is the best VW mechanic I have been fortunate enough to meet. I am a veteran and have literally moved around the world with this car over the past 18 years and haven’t found another mechanic that knows the MK4 VWs as well as he.
Chris not only had a new fuel pump and filter installed on my car within an hour and a half - important on a cross-country trip - he fixed a handful of persistent issues Ive had with the car that other mechanics either couldn’t fix or didn’t even recognize as issues.
Although I live in Florida, Volkswerks is my VW shop. I will be bringing my 20AE in to Chris’s shop for all planned maintenance and service.

I have used Volkswerks for many years. I owned a 1985 GTI in the early 90's and they handled my services then and have always been fair. Recently brought them my 2016 Audi A8 for an electronics issue and they resolved it with less than an hour of shop time. I would very much recommend Volkswerks as an option to dealer service.
Volkswerks quickly diagnosed the starting problem on my daughters Jetta after several failed trips to the VW dealer, along with two other local shops. The communication from David was fantastic and price was very fair. We’ll be bringing our car to you guys from now on!
Chris and David took care of my extremely unfortunate Tiguan for several years; they were able to get the root of the problem each time and did great work. Very honest, never tried to up-sell, took time to get to know me, and are great to talk to. Great customer service from a team that really takes pride in their work. I have taken my old Audi and my new VW here and will continue to do so. They really care that your vehicle operates optimally and that you understand whatever issues arise and why.
My daughter said 10 out of 5 stars. I agree. From beginning to end, great communication and service. I am a critical and anti-social personality and they dealt with my unnatural love for my car and I left completely satisfied. I have never met a mechanic that actually listened and heard me. They met my budget (and I believe applied undue discounts to satisfy my limit) and exceeded my expectations. Well deserving of AAA+, from the front desk to the garage. I highly recommend.

I actually used this shop many years ago when I had a VW and came back now that I have another. They seem very knowledgeable and more than fair on checking my car out. Highly recommend.
Specifically asked the shop to check out an exhaust/oil odor coming from the engine compartment. They found nothing despite the fact that I was encountering fumes in the cabin at every stop when driving the car. Took the VW Passat 1.8t to a shop in Merriam and they immediately identified a crack/leak in the crankcase breather hose. Problem solved. So the non-VW shop figures out the problem when the VW/Audi shop can't. That's a one star rating.
Amazing & quick service! Volkswagen in Lee's Summit wanted $1800 & to keep my car a week to replace my oil seal. The guys at Volkswerks charged $900 & kept it 2 nights, but only because I had to work & couldn't make it there before they closed or it would have just been a 1 night & 1 day job. Excellent work, great customer service, definitely a repeat customer! Thanks!!
I am a former customer of Bud Brown VW in Olathe. For three years they were dishonest with me and my 2004 VW Passat. After numerous repairs with them I decided it was time to take it to a shop and not a dealer. David and Chris took good care of me and my car. I took it in on Monday morning, an hour later David called me telling me they discovered the sources of my problems. Long story short the repair was probably half of what BB would have charged me. Chris took time to explain to me what the source of my problem was, how it affects my car, etc. Chris and I got a road map now what I need to fix next and how soon. These are guys you can trust with your time and your car. Did I mention that got an alternator, turbo boost control valve, oil change, antifreeze bottle replacement, and hood fix all done the same day I dropped it off? ALL OF THIS CHRIS GOT DONE THE DAY I DROPPED OFF MY CAR!!! Bud Brown would take days!!! Volkswerks will be the only shop to ever work on my car!!!
Highly recommended, Our '06 VW Jette tdi broke while my son was using thanks to David and Chris it's back on the road. I'm recouping from a fermur fracture and couldn't be there to help my son out.
