As other reviews have stated, this location should work on their customer service. Rude, disrespectful tone and definitely not friendly.

Drove out of my way to specifically get to an O’Reilly store to have my battery replaced. The lady told me they wouldn’t install a battery in my vehicle, which wasn’t made clear on the website. I understand installation in my car model is more involved than others, but I was most put off by her attitude. She didn’t even pretend to be sorry she couldn’t help me. Sympathy goes a long way with customer service. I won’t be going back to this store.

The staff at O'Reilly Auto Parts are always so helpful and knowledgeable. Every time I visit, they take the time to make sure I get the exact part I need. Great customer service and quick assistance — definitely my go-to store for car parts!

Came in to get new bulbs because one of the blinkers went out. walked in wasn’t even greeted and Ethan was not welcoming at all! Didn’t even ask how can I help not even a simple Hi! Let him know what I was looking for he went and got it rang me up and didn’t really offer help after that. A refresher on customer experience would go a long way.

Don't fool your customers. If you sell parts with a warranty, you should honor it. Went in there to replace the brake pad and rotor because they went bad in a couple of months . Brake pads had lifetime warranty and rotors had 2 years warranty. Their manager gave all kinds of stupid excuses not to do the exchange. Shame on you, the manager. Went to a different branch and got taken care of right way. Bad business practices. Will not go to this location again.

I had a terrible experience with customer service, specifically with Derrick. From the start, his tone was disrespectful. When I called him out on it, instead of apologizing or addressing the issue, he argued back. It was completely unprofessional and frustrating. I expect better treatment when I reach out for help, and Derrick's behavior was unacceptable.

I went in to get a new battery. The man that installed it rushed and did not install it correctly causing my car to have several issues. After taking it back 2 days later after installation asking them to make sure it was installed correctly, they told me that it has nothing to do with the battery and was just a coincidence that multiple things happened at once. After taking it to an actual automotive shop, they assured me the battery was not correctly installed. They said it was installed crooked and that no wires/ connections were tightened whatsoever. This should not have happened in the first, but then resolved if they listened to my hesitations the second go around and checked the installation instead of making me feel dumb. Hundreds of dollars later and a week without my car- I DO NOT recommend getting a new battery/installiation from O,Reilly’s.

I am not even sure what to say here. It has been a long time that I have felt this unwelcome and like a nuisance just for coming in with a question. Young man begrudgingly working at 2pm on 1/11 called me to the register and after testing my battery told me it needs to be replaced and that I needed to do it at the dealership. Not a problem. I got back into my car and saw that after he jump started my car that it has an engine light on. I walked back to the store and the moment I opened the door he rolled his eyes. I said my engine light is on and I wanted to make sure it is okay to drive on because it was not on prior to me coming to the store. You would think I would have asked for the moon and the stars. In order to be better and do better we need to know what we are not doing well, and this young man was crystal clear that he did not want to talk to me, or help me. Please learn more about customer service or work somewhere where you don't deal with people. Very disappointing that he clearly was not either trained well, or care enough to do well.

I had a blinker light out and a young man (in the rain) came out to help put it in. It ended up being the wrong one and unfortunately they didn’t have the one I needed. I appreciate all the effort he took to help me by going the extra mile.

The staff here are friendly and hard working, and tend to know more about auto repair DIY than most other chains. They also cooperate with local car events and meets to promote and sell tickets. O'Reilly's had the o-rings I needed for a power steering pump, but none of the other auto parts chains did.

Been here a few times, and most of the staff is nice enough. Only thing that makes me not come here as often is the bigger guy with dark hair and beard who isn't the friendliest. Just kind of gives me my receipt without saying anything and doesn't even look at me.

Fragile employee. Asked guy to check battery at the 14851 Metcalf in Overland Park location. He warned me it was hot outside (yes I knew that). He checked battery and I needed a new one. I asked him to install a new one, but the 19-21 y.o healthy male said he'd just put in a new battery and didn't want to install mine because it was too hot and he feared for his health.
So I went down the street to Carquest Auto parts. I'm 68 yo and the Carquest employee was my age or older. Very helpful. Without complaint he checked my battery and gladly put in a new one for me. Both of us lived through the death-defying experience.

They wanted to run our tag yo figure out a part that we needed. I have never heard that ever!!! We aren't from Kansas, and our tag is currently a Florida tag. So how in the heck were they going to find the vehicle. Then we were told to take the part off and bring it in so they could look for it. All we needed was brakes and rotars for a dodge journey.

Just stopped in with a headlight out. Reuben assisted me. Within a few minutes I had purchased the correct bulbs for my vehicle. I checked to make sure I didn’t need anything else to do the replacement. He said I didn’t and offered to help me install it!!! Within a few more short minutes I had both headlights replaced and was back on the road. Awesome experience Out of the ordinary service. Thanks Reuben!!

Good stock and a friendly kind of helpful staff. I had just picked up a used car and needed a brake light so I could get it licensed the next day. They quickly found the bulb I needed, and went above and beyond by helping me install it right then and there. Thanks to that I was able to get it inspected and tagged on a Saturday morning!

Had a good experience here. Needed a rare, vintage, light bulb socket. Employee, forgot his name, showed me that I could just replace the contacts and leads (I think that is what it was called) and keep the housing. The fix worked perfectly. Thanks O'Reilly's employee (dude in his 30s/40s). Hard to tell behind the mask:)

No real complaints, I was provided assistance with checking my battery, asked a few questions and got my alternator tested here. All was simple, straight forward and easy. Staff was mixed, some of them were more helpful and comfortable answering my questions while others were a little uneasy about it. Maybe they were just new to the job, which I understand can take some time to adjust!
