Great encounters! I have had two vehicles towed by this company, and each time the customer service was impeccable. Ron Hill was the friendliest technician when he responded to my request the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to see him at my doorstep with my second request. Robert was on the scene in 10 minutes with a smile and a great sense of humor. He hooked up my car, towed it my preferred repair facility and sent me information about the drop off. I had a flat going into work and no spare. The streets were curbed, so I pulled into an apartment complex around 42nd & Stirling in KCMO, pulled my tire, and left my truck on a jack stand. I returned 19 hours later with a new tire only to find that my truck had been towed all the way to Overland Park.
It took me two days to come up with the money for not only the tow, but two days of lot fees, which brought my total to around $450. To add insult to injury, they neglected to use the jack stand I had my truck on and dropped my truck on its axle. (The jack stand was never returned to me).
As if this wasn't enough, citing vague "insurance" reasons, they forbade me from putting on my new tire inside the lot. Since I couldn't drive it out, and they claimed to not have any trucks available, I had to call a different tow company to come and tow my truck out onto the street (another $100) so I could put my tire on and leave.
There is nothing good about what this company does. I had a flat tire and instead of helping someone who was clearly having a bad day, they stole my truck and my jack stand, took it to another state, dropped it on its axle, then ransomed my truck back to me, rubbing salt in the would the whole way.
Both me and my husband called and they confirmed they would only be 90 minutes to arrive to our Destiination. We called about 12 times on our status of our tow no answer. Never showed up. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF YOU ARENT GOING TO BE OFFERING SERVICE 24/7 DONT PUT IT ON WEBSITE.
This company has a lucrative side deal with Lenexa Crossing Apartments Johnson County Tow service regularly drives around the complex looking for expired tags. My tags were a little over a month expired and they towed my car. The cost was $235 and $35 per day to get out of tow, also you must pay and have your current vehicle tag. They also damaged my car and made me sign a document, regardless to get back my car. I tried to contact them about the damages and they did not respond. This is not a good company.
Very rude and inconsiderate. I guess good customer service, things like friendly, helpful staff, quick and efficient services, and basic people skills aren't important to this company. They act like they don't need or want business so just go ahead and call literally any other tow service in the KC Metro....
I really hate companies who make it the most difficult to do a simple task. Unfortunately the customer service does nothing to make up for this. I can deal with anything as long as customer service is at the very least.. good. It’s horrible here. Come on guys you can do better!!! Train your people in customer service! a little kindness goes a long way I promise!
The company waits until the middle of the night and tow your car for expired tags. How are you going to FORCE someone to get tags?
I literally came to rest before my shift at work. I came to my husbands apartment at 11pm. I had to be at work by 3am. I come outside car gone. Just got the job, couldn't miss a day, but needless to say they took my car and my job! I called and tried to please my case, but dude wasn't trying to hear me. They put a sticker on my car A MONTH prior. Sticker says, if you leave your car unproperly parked for 24hrs, they will tow it. I was parked for 4.

I had an awesome experience in purchasing a vehicle there. Michelle Reeves and Jim ?? were great to work with. I was a bit skeptical at first on the type of vehicle I was purchasing and the history of it but they explained and spelled everything out in making the transaction go smoothly. I have a greater understanding now on their business works.
Originally fairly upset as the company had towed my car, which I own outright, from my apartment without notice. It took forever to find the car and by the time I had the charges came out to about $1500. The employee were actually extremely understanding about the situation and were able to knock off over half of the cost. I was fully expecting to have to fight them on it and was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. Genuinely appreciate everything they did to help me out.
I was involved in an accident and had tno access to the title to prove the vehicle was mine. Not to mention there was $4000 worth of tools in it. Michelle Reeves helped me with the process and had a huge amount of compassion and understanding to my situation and I was eventually able to get all of tools back so I could get back to work. In todays world people dont care often about others situations yet her understanding and willingness to help is a huge example of what it means to have respect for your fellow human beings. I will refer them to anyone I come across. As long your polite and respectful....she will help you in anyway possible. I highly recommend there services.
Michelle and Desiree were super nice polite patient and helpful. My entire business transaction with this company was positive. Even the fellas out in the impound lot were friendly and helpful.
Money hungry tow service, towed my car out of my parking lot for no reason at all but leaves abandoned cars with windows busted out that don't move for months alone. Let's the parking lot be filled with visiting cars so there are no spots for actual tenants. Then takes cars all the way from Independence to Kansas and expects you to pay them ridiculous amounts to get your car back. Highway robbery at its finest here ladies and gentleman.
I have had a rough time with getting my car towed, and I will say That in any other case I would most likely not have my car back, but Michelle really worked with me to help me get back on track.
I will say Rachel (who usually answers the phone) could use a bit of training on communicating to customers, unfortunately there was a lot of miscommunication because of it.
Nonetheless, I give them 5 stars for their service overall and they are recommended.
I had to call Johnson County Tow Service today because I was dumb and locked my keys in my running vehicle. I was told that they would have someone sent to me within about 10 mins. Jason showed up in less time than that, and was very polite, professional, and quick to help me. Jason was like a knight in shining armor who took no time to come rescue me in my time of need. I would recommend Johnson County Tow to anyone and everyone I come across. Everyone there is so nice and professional, and it's always a pleasure dealing with them. Jason, thanks so much for being so great today!!!
Jason was very great! Timely and polite! We use Johnson County Towing at our property and they are always great. I decided to use him for my personal car and was just as impressed. I recommend using them and I will continue to do so as well :)

I was involved in an accident last Sunday and Jason was sent out to assist. My car was not in the best shape, but the wonderful people at Johnson County Tow helped get me and my mangled car safely home. Michelle was very knowledgeable and kind. I will be using them if i ever have any car trouble

They make regular checks of our property, notify us when there is an issue, are prompt and reliable, and their customer service is stellar. Michelle is GREAT!!! As the manager of a business who has used several tow companies, Johnson County Tow has been a pleasure to work with. Terrible, terrible towing company. The damaged my front bumper cover during the tow and wouldn't accept the blame.
Not only did they damage my car, but they are unprofessional and downright rude. I wish they had their own reality show, that way the world could see what worthless, unprofessional swine these people are.
