We were traveling through Kansas and had a major breakdown at Newton Kansas. Sunflower Tire and Auto came to the rescue. They got the car right into the shop and repaired it as quickly as possible. Thanks for helping us!
I brought my truck in for a cylinder 7 misfire and was charged for work that didn’t fix the issue. They replaced spark plugs again, swapped the coil, and did a fuel system cleaning, but never actually diagnosed the real problem. After all that, the misfire was still there, and I was told to “just drive it and see if it clears up,” which is bad advice for an engine that’s misfiring and could’ve caused more damage.
I ended up having to take it to another shop where the real issue was found. I’m frustrated that I paid over $500 for guesswork instead of proper diagnostics. I won’t be returning.
Best place ever I've tried multiple places too get my alignment done on my cars and the Tesla no one could do it right this place is the best Joseph got it done and right on my Tesla model 3 like it was nothing dude was awesome!
This repair shop is incredible!! As an older widow, I know when I bring my car or truck to them, they aren't doing things that don't need to be done. AND if they see something that is happening and could leave me stranded, they let me know about it. FINALLY, someone we can trust!!! Definitely giving them 5 stars.
This picture below is of my 06 honda odyssey, monster. She is nicknamed monster.It's because all the crazy things that I have done to her and then some. Sunflower, tire and auto has made it affordable for me to get her fixed head to toe. In this case front to back wheels. Anything you can think of from: shocks, struts, rotors, brakes pads starter, windshield, motors in windows, door motors going out for sliding, readjusting doors and panels, electrical work, steering pump steering pump attachments, gaskets of all varieties, spark plugs, spark wires, headlights, brake lights, front bumper grill trim piece spacers, horns, battery, power staying pressure hoses, alternator, rear pads and rotors, motor mounts, sub, harnesses, alignments, oil change CV. Axles all around. This vehicle might be in 06, but it is a 2025, and running way better than when I first got it. I believe I can put another 300k-500k miles on her. They made it affordable so I can complete my tasks with my vehicle. Are you timing to get all these projects done made my life easier it didn't leave me with too much down time. Time is definitely money for me. Thank you, sunflowertire and auto for all the work that you have and continue put in. What's my family to keep us going on the road. It's way cheaper, then buying a new vehicle and you make it worth it. Thank you.

Showed up an hour early to our appointment after the big snow storm, and they got us in and out before our actual appointment time! They are fast and communicated everything well! Will be going back to them!
Got charged $156 for them to look at my misfire problem. Was just the coil packs told them I was low on funds and wanted to see the problem before I agreed to anything. Told me the price to fix it. Told them no because I’m low on funds. And then I go to pick up car to only be charged $156 to look at it. I understand paying some don’t get me wrong. But $156 to find out it was 1 bad coil pack? Scam of a place. I heard bad things about this place but decided to give them a shot. And unfortunately the rumors was true.

They tell other people what's wrong with the other person car when they haven't seen it they just assume it. When you call to make an appointment they don't put you on the schedule. Until you call them back and tell them that you called to make an appointment and then they put you on. On top of that when you call to cancel they don't cancel for you. I won't be coming back.
I was visiting family and woke up to a flat Sunday!! The only place open was Walmart tire who told me they had to order my tire which was in Wichita so it should be in Monday morning or afternoon. After getting an uneasy feeling I decided to call over to these amazing people who got my my tire and in the same day and got me and my kids home safely! So thank you for making sure we got what we needed and had a safe ride home!
Called up for a leaky tire at about 9 am. Spoke to the office and explained that a trip was being planned to kansas city in a few hours, and asked if there was anyway they could sneak in a tire check. They said bring it right over. They were able to get it in, patched, and back out within an hour and a half. I don't expect that to be the norm, but that was what happened in my case. Thank you all so much!
I took my wife's Ford Edge in for an estimate to replace all 4 tires. She wanted the same Michelin tires it had on it. The quote was 3498.00 for 4 tires and the labor to put them on. Took it to our Ford dealer here and it was 1346.00 withe the Alignment. I kind of feel your pricing yourself out of business.
This spring, we bought a pair of tires and an aiglinment from CJs. We drove about 10 miles, and the vibrations were so bad we called them and returned it the next day. They gave us an estimate for about 7k for a new transaxle. So we parked it for a month till we had the money to fix it. But we took it to a Toyota dealership instead. They replaced the two tires with broken belts CJs put on it. That fix the problem. We returned the two tires for warranty work, but they refused to warranty them. And didn't even offer to return the bad tires. We were told new management. But the have the same name, address, phone number, employees, and liabilitys. We were told sorry oh well
I needed all 4 tires new. I tried to support this local guy. I wanted Goodyears or Michelns. He fumbled around trying to find me a rebate and ultimately decided the best deal he could get was $175 per tire on some Hankooks. I was OK with Hankooks. But I ended up going to Wal-Mart for $103 per tire for Goodyear Assurances and had them on by 8am the next morning. I might try these guys again next time but this time it just didn't work out.
Phenomenal service at a great price. They had the exact trailer tires I needed and were able to get them mounted and have me out the door in 20 minutes. They even offered to come help me get them back on the trailer (on the side of the interstate) if I needed help. Amazing customer service!
Do not go here they don’t care about anything but the money in your pocket, they will lie to you and say what they need to, to get more money inside there pockets. I went for an alignment because I just changed the tie rods, they told me They couldn’t align it because the struts were bad but they weren’t they were changed last year they weren’t brand new but they weren’t bad so they said they couldn’t align my car and made me pay a $37 fee to check my alignment even tho I knew I needed an alignment! Do not recommend this place. They just changed the oil on my fiancé car about a month ago and didn’t use a funnel and got oil all over the engine didn’t even try to clean it up after the fact either!
As a UHual dealer you absolutely are terrible at meeting your commitments. I was early to my scheduled pickup time yet your doors were shut and nobody would answer the phone. You have significantly inconvenienced me with your gross negligence. If my review isn't enough, I will add I watched 2 other customers show up to pick up tires that they were having repaired at your business and they too have been inconvenienced. I will never recommend a business like yours to anyone!
I returned a U-Haul truck here during business hours. I specifically met with employee who acknowledged it was during business hours, and that I would not be charged 'after hours return fee'. And the receipt admits it was during regular hours. But CJs charged me the fee anyway. And they hit me with other fees, like extra mileage fees, except that the extra mileage was granted to me by U-Haul Corporate in agreement to go way out my way and pick up and deliver a U-Haul load share. CJs tried to gouge me thinking I wouldn't notice. Dishonest and corrupt.
I had a problem with the tires that were first put on. Problems can happen that are out of a person's (or business) control. In the end, what matters is how a person (me) is treated. I found the owners of CJ's Automotive Pro Tire to be honest, good listeners, and willing to make it right ASAP. These factors are an attribute that should be held as standard for every business, hence the 5 stars. Thanks!
My brakes suddenly went out on the highway while pulling my toy hauler and I managed to get to them a little bit before closing. They took a look at the truck and saw the problem, ordered the part before leaving, and let me hook up my RV to power and water for the night. They had me back on the road by 11:30AM the next morning. There was never any sense of them trying to take advantage of the situation or anything. Everyone seemed to sincerely empathize with my situation and wanted to help.

We were on a trip with our pull-behind RV when one of tires started loosing pressure. This was our first trip through Kansas so we didn’t know where to go. Newton, KS was the closet town to us so we pulled into CJ’s hoping they could patch our tire. Turns out our rim was cracked.
The owner and staff immediately started calling around to find us the right size rim and the owner was willing to drive to another town to pick one up. Sadly because it’s not a common size one was not found so he put our spare on (which was a smaller size) and advised us to get a rim as soon as we could.
Talk about great service and pricing!! I was blown away by both here! I will not buy tires anywhere else! Thank you very much, you really made me feel important with the prompt and courteous service.
I bought two tires for my trailer. Put them.on and drive from goessel to belleville
. About two weeks later I noticed one tire was flat and brought it to a local tire place. Not only did the tire leaked from the stem but they failed to seal the rim.properly. Not a good place to do business. You expect professionalism. Did not get it there
R Pro went above and beyond to fix my tire. Being a visitor in town, I didn't know where to go to get my tire fixed, and quickly. Locals recommended R Pro to fix my tire. When they found out I was helping my daughter after her surgery, they expedited their service to help me get back to my daughter asap. God bless them all! I've shared my experience with many friends since then.
