Was able to come tow our vehicle fast so it wasn’t sitting on the side of the road! Very nice and friendly guy! The only issue was the keys were dropped in the wrong spot at the Auto Shop. But the keys were found and everything turned out okay!
Absolutely AMAZING service!!! Dennis was Quick to respond, very efficient and incredibly NICE!!! And the price was VERY reasonable!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!
I will never use the service again. I suggest no one else does either. By the time they towed my vehicle to the service shop the damage and cost was twice what it was. When my wife called to ask about it, they hung up on her. Very expensive. Worthless service.
The most important thing I can say about Dennis at Skeeters Towing is that he is absolutely an earth angel, with the highest of integrity, honor and trustworthiness! On January 11th 2025 I found myself in an impossible situation to navigate out of on my own. I was traveling alone with my dog and cat with 1000 miles to go out of an 1800 mile trip when just before my exit past Newton I had a flat tire, not just flat it was shredded. I had to make this trip, the rest of my life depended on it, but I was dead in the water alone and scared. I sat for a few minutes to gather my thoughts, breath and pray for guidance on my next move. I grabbed my phone and searched for the closest used tire shop called the first one, no answer so I called the 2nd one, Jamie answered. I told her my story but she didn't have a tire but could order one to be here Monday which wasn't ideal but okay. But then Jamie said "hey why don't you give Dennis over at Skeeters Towing a call I bet he would put you spare donut on for you". I called Dennis, well actually I called an angel. Within 20 minutes Dennis had scooped my van up onto his flatbed, (with my dog Dot in the driver's seat quite cute and proud) and delivered us to Sammi Cooper at Midway Motors, another angel. Sammi welcomed me while Dennis gave me a quick comforting smile with a nod saying "Have a Blessed Day it was good to meet you", and he was gone back in his rescue flatbed truck. Sammi had me fill out out a quick basic info sheet and showed me to the lounge offering me a cup of coffee, a chair and said this won't take long rest a few minutes, I did. Not 20 minutes later she came and got me to say "you're ready to go, no charge for today". I was truly in awe and shook to my core at the compassion, grace and love that I had just been wrapped in, like I've never experienced before it was magical, it was God working! Yes, Yes, and Yes I recommend Skeeters Towing, Newton Used Tires, and Midway Motors all day every day! Y'all have a Blessed Day and don't forget to ask God to put someone in your path today that you can help in some way, whether big or small it all matters. My mom & sister were out delivering packages and got stuck in the snow in Newton. (They are not from Newton) out in the middle of nowhere and they called several tow truck companies. Skeeters offered the best price and even better customer service. The gentleman helped get them out safely and even offered to follow them to their next destination to ensure they didn’t get stuck again. Skeeters called to make sure they made it safely. Skeeters is the only one I will recommend or call in the future!!!! Great people!! Great company!!! Best customer service! Real genuine.
Honestly the most kind hearted people ever. I was working and my 4wd jeep got stuck in some DEEP snow. These guys came out with a tow truck got stuck then unstuck and realized we'd need a different. My phone was at 17% and I was 10miles till E with a gas station no where near. They so kindly let me sit in their truck to stay warm AND charge my phone. They even offered me gas and food. After 7 hours almost 3 tow trucks, they got me out! (Don't blame them for a long time with mine, I was stuck stuck). I couldn't be more grateful for these amazing people. Not to mention they're family owned. I'm glad to support them when they supported me. Please if you need a tow check out Skeeters. It didn't even cost me an arm and a leg. Excellent, FAST service and very reasonably priced! I had a blowout on 135 so I called Skeeter Towing to come change my tire. The tow truck was there in 5 minutes and had me back on the road in 30! He even followed me to the nearest tire shop to take my rim for me. 1000% recommend.
Made getting information about my vehicle next to impossible. When I inquired about just getting my belongings back because I couldn't afford the impound fees they were going to charge me $100 so I agreed and was told to call when I was 20 minutes out. (I am not from Newton). So I called as instructed only to be told all my belongings had been donated and my vehicle auctioned off after having only posted one public notice for one day (and they wouldn't tell me which paper to find it in or the date they planned to auction my car).
I was extremely impressed with their expedience and affordability! We were stuck in a pond trying to get a boat out of the water and our drive shaft was broken because we got hi-centered on a chunk of concrete. I called Skeeters and they arrived within a half hour, pulled us out of the pond, and towed us to the nearest body shop. I highly recommend using Skeeters!
By far some of the nicest, honest, and genuine owners and staff running this place. They went above and beyond to get all my questions asked and at the end of the day I feel like with as much as they helped me with everything that they couldn't have possibly not taken a bit of a loss at least I feel like I came out ahead so either way it was clear within about a minute of contacting this company that all the ratings on here at least were making a whole lot more sense. I honestly couldn't believe a tow company is going to get so many perfect ratings, because people always have something to complain about or take off a star or more but go ahead and read the low reviews if you'd like but I honestly wouldn't believe those are just the kind of person who just wants to find things to complain about - don't listen to the couple of people who hadn't had a positive experience here - don't waste your time dealing with a sketchy lackluster tow service. These guys deserve the reputation, not a whole lot of owners actually could run an honest tow business to this standard it's pretty unheard of. :)
Oh and the only tow company out of 4 now that got a car dropped off perfectly in a lot that to date all three other towing places in Wichita scratched up the concrete left marks on the driveway or even couldn't get the car back to where we would have wanted it.

My car died at work recently and Dennis came out, gave me a jump and accommodated me to the nearest charging station (that didn't work) than ultimately to a mechanic to get my car checked out, than gave a lift back to work.

I will forever be grateful for Skeeters towing. My brother and I got stuck about 40 minutes away from home last night and Dennis came to get us as soon he got the call. After sliding into a bank of snow, Dennis responded quickly to our call. He and his son in law worked in the cold, digging a mound of snow from around the car so that it could be "rescued." I drove into a "puddle" at a camping site and got very stuck. Dennis had to practically crawl under my Prius to hook up the tow rope. He had a positive attitude throughout the whole process, and was extremely helpful.
Dennis was quick, friendly and very perfessional. Family was stranded on the side of the road in a mini van and he got us taken care of to a repair shop in no time! Offered me water and a nice break from the heat. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! I was driving on the highway and had an accident where my car hydroplaned and went into the ditch well I made a phone call to skeeters and they got my car out of the ditch and to my house within the hour even in the rainy weather and didn’t charge bad at all! They were super kind and respectful and made sure I was well taken care of I definitely recommend :)
This was the best experience I've ever had. My alternator went out and i was freaking out. My insurance would only cover a certain amount of miles and I was supposed to pay for the rest out of pocket. I had no money. He was so kind. He even bought me a sprite. He even went extra miles to take my car to my house without charging me. When we got to my house he helped me look at my car to tell me what was wrong he even showed me what I needed to do to change out my alternator. All I know is that I am so thankful for skeeter towing. He was so friendly and we had good conversations. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR SAVING ME ! BTW I just got my alternator fixed and my car runs great ?
We had a doctor's appointment and a dead battery. Skeeter was here within ,thirty minutes of my calling him. Great guy. We would use and recommend him to anyone. Our Ford dealership also had high praise for him also.
The driver Dennis worked fast and answered a few questions about my car. He picked me up in the middle of no where on a Sunday night. After taking my car to the shop he took me and my girlfriend to a gas station and let us wait in his truck until our ride showed up since it was cold. I could go on, all around great service! When my daughter's car broke down 30 minutes from home, we just searched towing companies near by. They managed to squeeze us in between two runs cutting our wait time down from 90 minutes to 20 minutes. The driver was friendly and helpful and I thought the price was very affordable. I highly recommend.
Was on my way to write a bond at 2 A.M. and hit a deer. Called Skeeter towing and was so happy with how quickly he got to me. He came from Newton to Augusta and had the car loaded up within the hour!!!! Any other tow service would’ve at least been 2!!!
Because of how quick he was, I was able to continue on with my job.
