Awesome shop! We were from out of town and literally leaving to go back home when I couldn't get my vehicle into gear at the McDonald's. It was 5pm on a Friday and they closed at 5:30. I called and they sent someone over to take a quick look. They got me back on the road! I truly appreciate their assistance and I definitely recommend their service! Great service is very refreshing to experience!
Awesome repair service! We were from out of town with noncancellable reservations hours down the road when we experienced brake issues just outside of Atchison. R & S was willing to work us into a full day and get us back on the road. Staff was super friendly and easy to work with. And repair costs were very reasonable! Thank you R & S for helping us get back on the road safely!
They got us out in a hurry but put a used alternator in my car. We are from out of town and made it home only to find out four months later they used a used alternator to replace our bad alternator.

Fabulous service. I got a flat tire at 11 pm at night, not entirely sure where I was driving from St. Joe to Topeka. The driver found me and had my spare on in under three minutes. Courteous and responsive.

THANK YOU, SCOTT! To all who take time to read this review my BEST advice is to call R&S FIRST. We have been using R&S Automotive for almost 7 years ago upon our arrival in Atchison in 2016. Immediate work on the Dodge Rams AC unit was needed when we got here, that was our 1st mechanical issue. Several more followed on servicing both family cars. Scott is kind, he treats customers very well, consistently. He seems to never had a bad day, while it is highly likely that he might-He does not let it spill onto the customer. Efficient, accurate, takes time to explain the problem and the repair plan. If he is not able to perform the task, he is ready to tell one who can accomplish the repair. As a women, I SO appreciate he does not pull unnecessary parts at oil changes to convince one that THEY NEED OTHER THINGS. Scott is the guy who tells you things like "You've got about X amount of months of life on that." I appreciate that treatment. He also maintains fleet contracts for companies. IF YOU NEED CAR REPAIR, OIL CHANGES, TIRES & more-Make R & S your first call. You will not regret it.
My wife and I were traveling though on a Sunday and our alternator went down. I called Scott at 7:20 am Monday morning and he said get your vehicle here and we will get you back on the road. The part came in at 11:30 am and Scott had us back on the road by 1pm. I would highly recommend R&S Auto and Scott. Great job!
R & S is amazing not only did they send out a tow truck to help me last night but they also squeezed me in today so that I could have the car back up and running ASAP. They are amazing people and do an amazing job and are care so much about their customers and it shows with how much they care by how they treat customers like family and not just walking money. Highly recommended and definitely will be going through them for all of our car repair needs.
Even over the phone this repair shop was very helpful. He seemed genuinely concerned about my car even though it wasn't in his shop. Listened to me describe problem & over the course of SEVERAL DAYS was able to help me figure out the problem & the solution!!

Courteous, fast and good service. I've been bringing my cars to R&S lately as I've determined that, price and quality, they are better than other services in town.
Took my car here for a break pads to this shop. Not gonna lie great customer service, but this time they forgot to screw in a bolt on my break caliper on my rear side. I’m in Iowa now and I noticed the screw was gone and they didn’t do a good job placing my break caliper in. I wouldn’t reccomend this place. They almost killed me for not doing their job correctly. If you want to pay for your death wish, go for it. If not, take it somewhere else where they’ll take care of you for your safety.
Rented a car hauler trailer from him not only did he hook it up to the truck he also tied down the jeep on the trailer for us! Did all this while it was snowing outside! He was polite and friendly the whole time! Great customer service and goes above and beyond his job! Thank you so much Scott!!!
Called on a Sat a.m. - I thought the rear differential had been leaking and was now maybe going dry. Had me come right over, checked it out, all good, very reassuring for 500 mi drive the next day. Wouldn't even charge me. Thank you! Have a lot of family and friends in the area and good to know where to go for good honest service.
Have taken our family's cars here for years. They've done emergency work for us when we've had car issues just before vacations/trips. Can't recommend them highly enough!
