I was having issues with my AWD car getting around. It had become squirrelly on bumps and cracks in the road. Became a real issue with driving then the snow hit. I decided I needed a more aggressive tire for our winter driving. Talked to Taylor on the phone and he found the perfect tires for me. I stopped in on a Friday late afternoon, he showed me online the tires he thought would be a good fit for me and he ordered them. I had them put on the following Monday. My car rides/drives so much better. I even got to really test them out on Thursday night driving home in our latest snow storm. Car walked right through the snow/slush like it was nothing. I went with the Hankook Dynapro tire. I highly recommend them if you're looking for an aggressive tire for a small SUV. Thank you! Taylor and Jason! I Always have great service!

I called Larrys as my car was stuck in a ditch outside of Marshalltown. They were on the way within minutes. A Good Samaritan got to me before Larrys so I didn’t end up needing the service. Larry didn’t charge any fee.

My daughter locked her little corgi in her vehicle running, we called Larry and he was at our house in no time and had Ellie out within minutes! We are very thankful for his service and expertise!

I called Larry's Lock after my wife locked her, me, and our three kids out of our vehicle at the gas station. The gentleman that answered the call told us not to worry, and he'd be there within 10 minutes (on Thanksgiving, no less). He arrived even faster than he suggested, and had the car unlocked in seconds. He was a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to call him again!

After a long day of travel, we got stranded an hour away from home. AAA and KeyMe failed us but Larry came through on a Saturday night and had our car open in seconds. Truly greatful, thanks again man!!

I stopped by Larry’s Towing, Tire & Lock in Marshalltown today to get a hubcap fixed. A young gentleman came out right away, quickly found a solution, and helped me out. The staff was very polite and professional, and the service was fast and efficient. I highly recommend this company to anyone who values great customer service and professionalism.

Best place to get a tow or to get your tires done, and they won’t try to overcharge you for anything

We were driving on 330 when we had a tire blowout. We tried to get the tire off and replace it with a spare but couldn't get the lugs off. Most businesses were closing by this time but Jason answered the phone at Larry's. He drove out to us, helped us get the spare tire on, and got us on our way. We then stopped at the Walmart in Marshalltown and were able to get a new tire but they weren't able to swap our spare tire with the new one. So I called Jason up again at Larry's-- we drove over to their shop and he swapped it for us with no hassle at all. Jason was kind, enthusiastic, and worked quickly. He was a lifesaver in getting us back in working order and on the road again. I can't thank Jason enough for that and wholeheartedly recommend Larry's. You can't go wrong here.

Called the shop for a key replacement, they quoted $200 and then because I live 10 miles away it’ll be another $100. Absolutely ridiculous pricing. I found a guy from Des Moines to drive 40 miles for 2 keys for $165. Please quit trying to rip the people of Marshall county off. Thanks

Car wouldn't start, need to get it to a mechanic. Called Larry's, he said he'd have a driver to me within an hour. About 30 seconds after we hung up, his driver called and gave me 10 minutes notice he'd be at my vehicle. Nick helped me move the vehicle to a place he could latch on, and he had it loaded and was driving off in under 5 minutes. Friendly, professional, speedy, and very reasonably priced service. I highly recommend Larry's for your towing needs.

This is an amazing business with customer service that is second to none! My daughter came home from college last weekend and had a leak in her tire so I took it to Larry's right before it closed and they had no problem staying an extra 30 minutes to get it fixed! They even gave me a cup of coffee while I waited and double checked everything to make sure her car was safe to drive! They are all about building relationship and rapport with their customers and are a great asset to the Marshalltown Community!

There seems to be a trend here. Friendly, professional, reasonable...etc. We had heavy snowfall today which made driving conditions bad. As I was driving to work, a semi nearby hit me on the highway. I avoided the crash, but ended up in the ditch. I was totally stuck. Fast forward...I had to find someone to get the car out and that's when I found Larry. Obviously, he was in the midst of a busy day but he was able to squeeze me in to his busy schedule. Anyway, he was fast, efficient and charged a fee that was fair. It was a pleasure to get to know him. It's not much fun when you have to call someone like Larry, but his friendliness and good work definitely softened the blow. I have no problem recommending Larry. Thanks for everything Larry!

Larry's was a class act tow service experience for our family. Stranded outside of Marshalltown in the middle of the night, they were efficient in getting to us and fair in pricing. We had the car towed to a mechanic, who told us the bad news of likely engine related, potentially a whole new one. So we relied on Larry's again for the long tow to the Hyundai dealership in Iowa City. Again very communicative and easy to work with. Months later I needed some extra documentation from them to submit to Hyundai and they again were seamless in finding my records and emailing them to me. Couldn't be more thankful to have worked with Jason and the gang. A++++

I have lowprofile run flat winter tires and i wanted to get them mounted i took them to 2 different “professional” tire shops today and neither could get the job done after half the day trying to find somewhere with “the special machine” i brought them to larrys and they had all 4 mounted and balanced in an hour. Great price great customer service! Highly recommended

I'm writing this review to rave about the amazing service I received at Larry's Towing, Tire & Lock Inc. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain all of my options to me. They didn't try to pressure me into buying anything I didn't need, and they were honest about the pros and cons of each tire. I ended up getting a set of used tires- they are quiet and comfortable, and they handle great in all weather conditions. I feel so much safer driving with these tires on my car. The price was also very reasonable, and I was able to get my tires installed the same day. The staff was efficient and professional, and they had my car ready in no time. Overall, I had a great experience at Larry's. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs new tires.

I've had 2 great experiences here. The first was a year or 2 ago when I had a flat tire on my way to work North of town on 14. I got the car into their shop and was treated well and taken care of quickly. The pricing was fair as well. Then today my toddler accidentally locked himself in his bedroom. We haven't lived there long and the previous owners had handles that locked with keys for some reason and hadn't left me all the keys. Of course his room was one that I did not have a key for. They were so nice and professional. He got there as quickly as he could and got my kids door open very quickly. Despite how flustered/worried I was he made me feel calm and better about the situation. Fantastic service. I highly recommend them.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. I live 4 hours away from this town, and came up to visit my husband. Pulling into Marshalltown late last night both rear tires had an issue and I blew a brake line. I am due to leave tomorrow to head back home with needing to go to work Monday and could not find anyone in town to put tires on my truck. Even a big named company here locally refused unless I bought an entire set, which is not needed as I have a full set at home going on in a few days. Larry's got me completely taken care of, while also being extremely professional and that small town feel. Fantastic set of individuals here and outstanding customer service. If we ever need any services they offer again while in the area they will absolutely be my first call. They also had no issue taking care of my truck as some shops refuse due to its size. (1999 F350 on an 8 inch lift and 35's) Thank you again for getting my truck set back up for the drive home and ensuring it is safe, especially with my baby traveling with me.

The tech was quite prompt and a nice young man. However after 35 minutes he could not unlock my car. I unlocked my car using two shoe strings. He still charged me $100! I realize his time is valuable however I'm the one who unlocked my car not him, I think he could have given me a lot better price than $100. He didn't have adequate modern equipment and the metal rod he used to try to open my door repeatedly, scratch the paint off of the inside of my driver side door. If you have a newer car I would recommend not using this company.
