Pretty happy with them. It is better if you sort your load out ahead of time if possible. Took a few minutes to chase down a guy to weigh brass and copper loads after I consolidated the loads on site at the quonset hut. The guys in the yard are decent to work with and the lady in the office was pleasant. Everything seemed reasonably fair in terms of payout.
When I have scrap metal I will definitely bring it here. This was my first time and the talked me through where I needed to go. They have a large magnet which makes it a lot easier unloading a trailer. They can even pull metal out of buckets. Very pleasant people working here. I disagree with any negative reviews especially since they are two years old. They only thing that would be better is if they had Saturday hours.
Very shady business practices.
Waited on the scale a few minutes before giving up and going inside.
They won't pay you and they want to hold any money you would've gotten under $10 till you have credits equaling more than $10. Well I was in the process of donating free scrap metal when I was yelled at for putting it where they didn't want. Never do business with a company like this. I should've went to Marion Iron, they would've never treated me like that!
The yard man lied about what I brought in, what I was paid was far less then other yards, the scale was off, and the yard man said my girl should where shorter shorts.
