I was stuck in a different state for a week because they couldn't figure out what was wrong and when they did figure it out I had mud and crumbs of chips in my backseat. My windows don't work properly whenever I know they worked prior to my visit to Midas.

Dan did an amazing job repairing my tire and got me in and out in 20 mins!

They did $2900 worth of work in which I had to get finance so is more like 5000. They didn't seal the tirod boots nothing was tighten to spec. Dan said bring it back and he would make sure he would get thing right since the tech that did the work was no longer employed but he didn't do anything and said that the parts were installed correctly. Well I lawyered up and now they can deal with civil suit for ripping me off. It still drives just as bad if not worse. They're gonna be hearing from my attorney ive showed pictures of the parts not being sealed.

It's Christmas Eve and my car decides to act up. Figures, right?! It "broke down" at Bowen and I saw the wonderful Midas sign in the distance. I walked down there and Dan and James sprang into action. They ran the codes, checked my battery, and we talked about possible solutions. They also listened and didn't make me feel dumb. My car did start and I was able to get it home. It needs a software update. Good ol technology lol. Anyway, these guys are rockstars in my book. Merry Christmas Midas Men ☺️

Service would have been better if the guy at the desk would have actually got up and talked to us about our car instead of from behind the desk in front of other people while being on his phone.

On Friday morning my wife and I were travelling from NE Ohio up to Rockford. Our car broke down, and we were able to limp it to Midas. The crew at Midas checked our car out and ultimately got us back on the road investing a good amount of their time while not taking a payment from us. We cannot say state how much we appreciate what they did for us.

This morning I had an issue with my seatbelt being tangled up in my seat and I couldn’t get it off because the belt was locked up. Scott Hall didn’t hesitate to grab some tools to take the seatbelt off and untangle and unlock it. Took him no time and I asked him what his time was worth for helping me with that and he said no worries. He was really looking out for me there! I have been to this location many times and have had very pleasant experiences!

Very professional and polite. They told me how long it would take and it actually took him a lot less time than that ...very satisfied with the service... They went as far as checking my air cabin filter and my air filter and notified me that those would need changed soon

My wife and I were traveling for vacation and had a major brake issue I stopped in on a Friday and Scott was more than willing to help. Scott was able to diagnose the problem get the parts needed and had us back on schedule in just a couple hours. Being an Auto Dealer from Indianapolis area I actually wish he was closer to our location I would use them for our company business for sure! Thanks again Scott for being Genuine and keeping our vacation enjoyable. Much appreciated!

I was traveling from New York and got a nail in my tire. I stopped in and they had it fixed in like 10 minutes! It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a tire place. Thank you so much!!

Was very impressed with how fast my oil was changed. The red beard guy in the office was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me that was wrong with my car. I would recommend this Midas to anyone that needs car repairs fast.

I’ve been coming to Midas in Angola for a little while for my car repairs since my local shop has shut down. I’ve met most of the employees who have worked here and most of them are pretty great! And offer great customer service. However I’ve been in a few times. The new manager does a great job and for me being an old timer the work ethic of the one mechanic you have is tremendous! With that being said the only complaint I have here is while I’ve sat and waited for the repairs to be done and did small talk, I witnessed the bigger guy seems to have a lack of team effort while there the last time he seemed more interested in repairing his own vehicle then helping the guys out with the customer build up they were getting causing a longer wait time for customers and more work for the other guys. Being a business owner for 20+ plus years and having multiple employees I frowned upon that. I will still be an existing customer just because I have respect for the manager Scott and the hard working mechanics they do have. But I think the bigger guy I believe his name is Dan or Ben could show better work ethic and more of a team player to satisfy customer service better.

Beauty caps on bolts are supposed room be removed via a hook or plyers. To try to remove the tire bolts with the beauty caps still on is lazy. And you tend to try to use a larger size socket..thus stripping the bolts and broke one bolt off!! Using a removal tool is standard. Why and how did Bell Tire get them off?? Removal tool..thus not charging me $516 to drill bolts out and putting in new bearing assembly. You guys said my nuts were WELDED to my aluminum rims?? They got the 4 off in 7 minutes. Guys, you used to be my go to place. But to set me up to do extra work that didn't need done is crazy. How did I remove 5 bolts by hand..yet you couldn't get any?? By leaving beauty bolts covers on(I removed them). And gouging me the repair..that didn't need fixed. So Belle Tire got them off, replace the bolt you broke, caliper is on for $282!! One hour labor..And with the money I saved...I got 2 tired mounted and installed. Total cost..$532..the repair cost got me all what I needed . I do not recommend this place.

I’m truly grateful for the exceptional customer service at this location. Just an hour before closing, they welcomed us without hesitation. We were in the middle of launching our boat when we discovered a completely flat tire. We brought in the spare along with the old tire still mounted on the rim, and they had it swapped out in under 10 minutes. To our surprise, they even did it free of charge. I would absolutely return for future service and highly recommend them to others. Their kindness and efficiency were truly above and beyond—thank you! 10 out of 10!!!!

New to Angola and first time going to Midas was the Angola location. I had no issues whatsoever. Scott helped explain to me what I needed repaired, quoted me at a reasonable price, and even threw in a discount on my oil change! + appreciate them being open on Saturdays.

This place has overcharged my son on repairs everytime he has taken his car to them. This last time, they charged him over $800 to change the wrong part. That didn't fix the problem. There was no oil leak prior to dropping the car off to them. If there had been, we would have asked for an estimate for fixing that too. After having the car for 5 business days and $1000 later, (they changed the oil too during this time but did NOT indicate to me in person when I picked up the vehicle nor did the corresponding paperwork mention an oil leak) we picked it up and drove it home, only to discover the next day it was leaking oil. However, my son needed the car back for work. When we finally got it back to Midas the following week, they initially denied that it was leaking oil at all when we last picked it up. It is not mentioned in the physical copy we have in our possession. We never claimed they were at fault for this new oil leak issue, but I did tell them I was not happy with the con service of replacing an over-priced part (yes we priced the part at several other locations) that did not even fix the original issue. We left with the car and will not return. This part is the kicker though. I was only involved initially to help transport the car back and forth because my son was out of town for CDL training. This made it extremely difficult for my son to communicate with them about the car and they never contacted me about it at all during that time. I only become more involved after realizing they took advantage of my son and were about to rip him off again. I let them know (firmly, but not yelling or cussing) that I was not happy and they lost our business.. Oddly though, the next day, this place contacted me, not my son, to harass me about the car's issues. Now remember, we never once claimed they were at fault for the oil leak. But they made a claim through text that they have it in records that they notifed my son of an oil leak over a year ago...and claim to have pictures. So why was this not noted on the most recent receipt when they literally just changed his oil? And why did they initially say to my son's face when he took it back in, that the car was NOT leaking oil when I picked it up after the last repair? Which is it? Better question is, why is Midas in Angola illegally falsifying repair records? I'll let you know when their corporate office lets me know...

I had great respect for this shop and its crew, that is until my recent visit. Because I brought my own block heater cable, they charged me over $400 for an install that only took 20 minutes. I called the previous day and informed the shop manager that I already had my own part and was not told that I would be charged a total of $598 for an oil change and this part installation. It will have to be a dire emergency before I darken their doors or recommend this shop again.
