A+++ Towing service . This is the 3rd time I have used Vic's towing service but this will be the first time I have left a review. So I'm giving them a 15 star. 2015 they towed my jeep to Chesterton, no issues ,no damage and super nice driver ..2018 they towed my firebird with a donut tire on the front across town in south bend , was worried about the front bumper but they were professional and again no issues and no damage, super nice driver. Today they towed my mazda cx7 from southbend to valparaiso , no issues and no damage and again super nice driver. He did a really good job and was pretty quick to get it unloaded. Also want to mention they did it from 55.00 to 110.00 less than other quotes from other company's. The office ladies have always been able to give me a fast quote over the phone and stuck with it. and I have never been disrespected from the office Not really sure why the low reviews but I'm 3 out of 3 with good experiences with this company and I will call them again. Thank you again Vic's Towing for the great service .

First of all it was driven drunk by someone who don't own it. So the owner wants her car back but first the lady who answers is soooo rude and won't even give me the money amount without vin number. Finally get off work to get the vin for her to say 300 but we closed already and u can get it til Monday now which she never once said earlier. Hey it's Friday if u can't get it u will rack up weekend fees. Have u heard of good customer service?? We did not drive it drunk yet we are treated like a criminal and all we want is to get our car back. We don't even live in that town. So U tow 24/7 but someone can't drive to your town to get their car back? And the fee is double the amount of anywhere I've ever called and then u hang up on me. If I ever needed anyones help I would never ever call Vic's. Hire someone new to deal with ppl if ur gonna have prices like that AND keep them from getting their car all weekend when they did nothing wrong to begin with except let a fool drive their car Insane

I had my Chevy Silverado towed from my house to a shop in South Bend. The receptionist was really nice, the driver was really well spoken, respectful and professional. Also gave me a great price where other companies were way over. All around great experience. Definitely recommend

The lady there rubbed me the wrong way over the phone. It was very short and no feel of concern. But when I went to pick up my car, she was the nicest, most informative individual that I have met in this town. She has the same concerns as everyone in the community. She was prompt in servicing us. Because we did all of the necessary things going there, we were in and out in 15 minutes. The only reason I give them a 4 star is because they are not open on Saturdays.

Honestly took a star for how long it took them to get to me. But other than that, they did the work, got my car open (keys in the car. Yeah I did a dumb.) and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Plus when they called after a bit to let me know that their driver was late after a few hours. The person who called was kind. Which I guess I got them on a good day. (From what I see on the other reviews)

Vic's Towing is a reputable company. Who you can count on when having car issues and staying stranded. Vic & staff are prompt to the rescue. I know other's may have their negative fee back with their opinions due to experience with getting towed on a lot, But just like us they have a job too do. It's simple READ The signs!! Problem solved.

My stolen vehicle was towed by this company. The lady who answers the phone was nothing but rude. When asked the condition of car she said she hadn't seen it but bring title or come get it. The next day I had title and asked to see it first to make decisions on keeping my only vehicle or not. She said I need insurance and Police report wasn't enough. Details of company policies matter to a person unfamiliar with a new process. I just feel like she is not a right fit for this company or customer service.

If I could give this place zero stars I would have but the lowest rating is 1 star. It is the worst service and personal I have every had with a company. My elderly father was in an accident and I was calling on his behave as he was shaken up after the accident and did not know what was going on. The people are so rude and would not give me any information and told me my father was the only one they would talk with. I told them he was shook up and please work with me and then they hung up on me and would not answer my calls. I would never give them any business and will tell everyone I know to never use them for any reason.

You have a choice on who tows your car after an accident in South Bend. Do not allow Vic's towing to touch your car. They took my car and would not cooperate with me getting access to my personal property. The lady on the phone is extremely rude. The younger lady that also works there is extremely rude. The gate is always closed so you can't get to the office. My insurance company also told me the staff was rude to them and that Vic's Towing refused to tell them how much they were charging for my car to be onsite per day. The insurance company was told by one of the rude ladies that they would find out the amount when thet pick up the car. This operation is unprofessional and shady to say the least. The city of South Bend needs to get out of the contract with this company. Again, stay away from Vic's Towing. You use them, you will regret it.

Had my car towed here, Spoke to a woman about coming to it. By the time I got there, MAYBE another woman was there, she claimed to of not spoke to me on the phone, I politely re-explained myself and she continued to be rude. not to mention, she was very rude to the driver she was speaking while engaging with me. the staff that came when they picked my car up were polite, kind, and informative. But she... she needs a class on how to speak to people.

Wife's car got towed here after an accident. Very silly to me that they keep the gate closed at all times when you got plenty of people walking around and if your worried about theft get cameras? Plus they only let one person inside to get belongings from your car and you can't pull another vehicle inside so you gotta hope you can carry all your stuff in one go to your vehicle parked on the side of the road. Lady that the wife talked to seemed annoyed. If your job that is literally customer service annoys you then maybe look for a new line of work? Just beware of what your getting into if your unfortunately towed by them.

vic’s really did good by me. i don’t live in south bend and got pulled over and vic’s are who came and towed my car. not only where they very helpful in instructing me on how to get my automobile without any hassle but also gave me directions and knocked days off my total bill. vic’s wife melissa was abt the nicest woman i’ve ever met and went above and beyond for me like no tow company has ever done. she turned around a completely awful experience for me and showed me that people can help out others without cleaning out their bank account and that not every tow company out there is only abt the all mighty dollar. id recommend them to anyone with a smile and confidence that they’ll be treated fairly and like a human being.

Called them to see about a jump start, dispatcher said “we can’t get to it until morning, I said “That doesn’t do me any good im stranded at my employer” dispatcher’s response “have a good night.” In a rude and uncaring tone of voice and then hung up the phone. I had to retrieve some belongings from my rental car after an accident and the woman I spoke with on the phone was completely rude. I called to let them know that I needed to stop by only for her to say no and that I can’t get my items until enterprise has the vehicle. So I called enterprise and had to get the green light from them first. Then I called Vicks again to let them know that so I was allowed. Only to get there and get my stuff with ease knowing that they hadn’t gotten any information from enterprise so I’m pretty sure that the women inside just made an excuse so I couldn’t go. Be aware of this company, it's terrible. My insurance contacted them as my provider for this morning's towing. They suppose to arrive at 10:30 am. But they never showed up and asked for $300 instead of $225(225 was the confirmed price from my insurance company). I told the insurance company and the insurance company confirm the price again. They just never showed up and canceled the towing without telling me or my insurance company. Wasted me so much time.

If you want one of the worst towing experiences after an accident, I recommend Vic’s Towing. After I was involved in a car crash the police called over their pals at Vic’s to come scoop up my vehicle. No big deal I thought, even though I was fully insured by AAA, I’ll just head over there when the time comes to gather my belongings out of my vehicle and give one final goodbye to my Honda CR-V. When that time came, I called the towing place’s number and informed them I was on my way. They stated that I could not enter the premesis, and that they needed my insurance agency to contact them before I could be let in. A little weird I thought but it was ok. Anyways I get in and grab some stuff, but have to go back a week later because I forgot my trusty sun shades that go in the windshield of the car. I call in again to let them know I’m coming and the woman who answers sounds very annoyed at me. When I get there, I am greeted by a very grouchy lady, the same one who I spoke with on the phone two times prior, this time on a power trip saying that it was the last time I could come and to “make it quick” even though it’s my car in the lot. Writing this review now makes me want to go back one last time to grab one last thing out of my vehicle, which I plan to do. It’s my car after all.

Never needed a tow from Vic's yet, I have AAA for that fortunately. But even if the car is recovered it can be found & returned if your affairs are in order or when they get to be. Repo is a tough job that few choose to do. The drivers have families of their own & both they & their children just want to make sure they are safe out there on the roads to put a roof over their families heads, a warm bed & comfy pillow to rest such little weary heads who should be fast asleep dreaming dreams that all kids deserve, not wondering when or if their guardian is going to return in time for breakfast. At least that's just the way I see it should be. Agree?
