Another great interaction at Lucas Recycling. Got my aluminum cans recycled for a fair price and he took a broken desk fan off my hands. Got to see the good work he's doing getting fixed and gently used items back to the community at either free or low cost prices. It is wonderful we have such a close and convenient location to keep things out of the landfills.
Tim was such a huge help with my husband and I. He went above and beyond to help us out as much as possible. Would definitely recommend him, and call him again for any future needs.
Was able to purchase metal to reroof our shed at a fraction of the cost i wouldve pd elsewhere. He was prompt, responded to all pur quesrions and helped load it.

Came by at 2:50pm on 9/30/25. Nobody was there but google says that your place is open from 12pm to 7pm. I tried calling the number on your google page 5 times just to go straight to voice mail. It had been 10 minutes since I showed up and nobody came out to help so I left.
Tim Lucas ordered some parts for me and they shipped them to the wrong address. Tim personally paid for over night delivery and drove out to my house to personally deliver the products. He didn’t have to do this but Tim said he would deliver on a certain day and he did. I highly recommend Tim Lucas to locals or all others.

If you haven’t been by Lucas Recycling (old Baldwin Recycling) stop by and check it out. It’s almost unrecognizable in a good way. Tim has done a great job cleaning the place up! Definitely a positive improvement for the community!
Tim was incredibly helpful! We are from out of town, visiting to help my husband’s aunt clean out her garage, and he went above and beyond. Not only did he take old appliances, but he also kindly helped us unload using his forklift. We were impressed to learn that he recycles and gives back to the community as well. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a wonderful business near my husband’s hometown. I truly wish there were more business owners like Tim!
My boyfriend took over some scrap he had from previous construction jobs he’s had over the years. They didn’t even come up to a full pound but the guy was fantastic with us and gave us a $1 for it anyway. He even stayed open past the time of closing for us. We will definitely be back to take some other things over when we start cleaning more out at my parents house

Ad on Facebook says to call before bringing anything so I would call the number the man answering would always say he wasn't there at the time but he would call me when he got back there never did for a week straight then when he finally got back ahold of me to let me know he was there just for me to get there and be told he's not been buying those sort of things (aluminum, copper). Now what kind of scrap yard/ recycling center doesn't buy scrap metal makes me wonder how he managed to get so many 5 star reviews and why he even opened a recycling business at all if he's not buying the 2 common metals people scrap
Where is so called tar? Must have never seen the inside of a high voltage transformer before or any type of high voltage motor windings so how is anyone able to trust that your going to give them the adequate pricing for any items they bring. Looks like I figured out how you got so many 5 star reviews sorry not everyone's able to be bribed can't help it's the truth buddy

Tim was absolutely fantastic went above and beyond to get me taken care of. My battery died due to a bad alternator in his parking lot and he got a part ordered for me and gave me a jump to get home. Obviously not in his realm of responsibility but he seemed to genuinely care and wanted to help. Great guy to do business was with.
