I have found the staff at Nick's to be very helpful in explaining what the problem was with my van and the techs did a great job in completing the repairs. I would recommend them to others.

I had taken my car into another shop for a slight, intermittent grinding noise, which I thought may be my brakes. They came out with a list of "urgent" repairs needed and quoted me nearly $4,000. I took my car to Nick's for a second opinion, and they gave it a full, thorough inspection and reported that my brakes had 40-50% life left and reported that the repairs the other shop said were "urgent" were either completely unnecessary or not needed for many more miles and the other shop was trying to take advantage of my clear lack of car knowledge. They did not charge for the inspection and gave me much needed peace of mind about my car. The entire staff was also so kind and clearly cared about my wellbeing. I will never take my car anywhere else and would highly recommend everyone take their car to Nick's as well!

I have been with Nick‘s auto service since 2010. They have always done fair quality work and tell you upfront what they’re gonna do and how much it’s gonna cost you. I drive from the east side of Indianapolis to have my vehicle serviced by Jim and his team And will continue to do so

Nick’s representatives listen to your problems and concerns and do their best to help you. I’ve had service performed and the parts failed. They were quick to fix it free of charge. The staff is very friendly.

Awful experience. Took my car to them for an engine/coolant issue for them to diagnose the problem for over 200$ and say the repair would be over 3,000$. Whatever. Problem is that when I retrieved my vehicle the driver side handle switch was gone and the fuse box was open. I had to search my car for the door to the fuses and they tried to gaslight me, saying there was never a reason for them to look in there. When I asked why the switch was gone they said they would order me a new one but I would have to come down for them to look at it. I did and they saw it but after a week and no update, they again say they need to see it. Easy solution? Google it. I don't expect I'll ever receive a replacement part from them and they will never receive my patronage a second time. 0/5 ⭐

Very helpful, honest, and professional company! I was in town for a short term contract, and I needed my brakes inspected. They were helpful in working with my schedule, informative, and did not charge me for any service that was not needed. I highly recommend this company!

Been doing business there for about 10 years now. Prices are reasonable and the work is A-1. Don't want your ride in the shop for a week? This is the place. NO shade trees here.

I have been going to Nick's for years. They have always been friendly, helpful, professional, honest and fair-priced. I recently spoke to Jennifer and explained my budget and she was EXTREMELY patient and knowledgeable while working with me. I am INCREDIBLY grateful for her!! Also, a shout out to Darren who has always been INCREDIBLY helpful, kind, patient and understanding. Of course, thanks to the mechanics that take great care of my car. You guys are AWESOME!

My daughter is at the university and got stuck with a car that wouldn't start. The team at Nick's (Jenny (Ginny?) and Darren) were very helpful, professional, and communicative. We scheduled the work, they towed the car in and efficiently diagnosed and fixed the problem. I'm very thankful to have the good people there to provide the service we needed, especially with us being out of state. Highly recommend!

I bought a car off of JIM that someone didnt pay for the repairs when they brought it in and Jim the Owner of Nick's told me they stand behind ALL their Work. I bought it a little over a year ago and have had one problem after another with it. They gave me a copy of what they recently replaced from the Previous Owner and Were Supposed To Transfer That INFORMATION TO My Profile But They Never Did and I even brought them a copy of it and they copied it BUT THEY STILL DID NOT TRANSFER THE INFORMATION. I HAD INTENDED TO USE THEM AS MY MECHANIC BUT NOT WITH HAVING TO JUMP THE BATTERY EVER SINCE LAST SUMMER. ITS A 2004 PT CRUISER. I AM A 60 Y.O. DISABLED WOMAN WITH MOBILITY ISSUES SO IM NOT ABLE TO BE JUMPING THE BATTERY EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT! Candy Allen

On Oct 7 2024 I was on my way back to MI and at 2:30 a.m. my truck broke down on I 69. I called Nick's at 8:30 a.m. and explained my situation. They got my truck in, repaired, and I was back on the road by 2:30 p.m. Fantastic service with extremely nice and professional people. Highly recommend.

100% recommend this place. They are knowledgeable, great diagnosticians, and are affordable. I'm 57 years old and have lived in 3 different states and haven't seen a shop that's as good as this. Works on all types of cars too.

When I first moved to Anderson which was almost 6 years ago I was skeptical about this place although it was right down the street and very convenient. I was still skeptical only because I’m the type of person I prefer to have one person and one person only work on my vehicles. Must I said I tried them and I have been going to them for literally EVERYTHING that has to do with my vehicles since. They are very trustworthy people who stands by their word and not only gets the job done for a buck but actually gets it done right for their customers. Everyone here is very nice and has excellent customer service and is really good at explaining things to u to make sure u have a good understanding of what’s going on! I can definitely say they will have me as a customer forever!! THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL THAT U DO, YOU ALL ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I needed my A/C worked on other places had tried to fix it. The Honda dealer has had it twice could not seem to get it fixed right I took it to Nick's. They were very nice explained everything courteous offered rides to and from and everything was fixed in a day and very reasonable in price, I will definitely be using them again. I recommend that you use them too.

I called Nick’s on my way home from work this past Wednesday to see about bringing my car in to assess a rattle I heard under the hood. Jim told me to bring it on over and within a very short period of time, my car was driven around and placed in the shop to locate the source. Figured out what it was, appointment was made to fix the issue and all within a matter of TWO DAYS, my car is ready to rock ‘n roll. I am AMAZED at the service and kindness here. 100% will be bringing my vehicle back for future needs and services. TAKE YOUR AUTOMOBILE HERE!!!! These people are the real deal!!!! ?????

I'm not from Anderson, so finding a trustworthy shop was stressful. After doing some research, I decided to go with Nick's. It took 2 trips to get my car fixed because so much was wrong. They were extremely fair, extremely friendly, and my 2009 HHR is driving like new. I still need a little more work done, and I'll be taking my business back to them.

This placed charged me $82. To change fog light bulbs on Chevy Cruze during oil change. This was less than a 10 minute job. Very profitable for them $500 per hour labor rate. Car was already on lift . They Got me on this job. I have done business here for several Years. But No more..

Nick's Auto Service came to the rescue when I was having car trouble on my way to Tennessee. The needed part wasn't readily available at any parts store, but Nick's Auto Service quickly came up with a solution to get me back on the road. The service was fast and efficient. The customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you're having car trouble in the area.

I am a heavy equipment mechanic and I am very familiar with what it takes to do good mechanic work. Nick’s backs there work and does a top notch job. Every time I spoke with any of the employees there was a common theme of customer service and genuine concern for me and the vehicle. This is a trustworthy mechanics company and I Will recommend them to anyone.

I’ve taken my vehicle to Nick’s a few times over the years and they have been amazing each and every time. Tonya and Darren are always so helpful over the phone. I’ve never had anything but a positive experience and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Price gouging, charging for work they did not do, charging for visual checks and passing them off as proper inspections, charged my girl $65 for brake fluid, came home there was none registering in the system even tho they themselves drained the lines. Don't go here they tell you it's one thing but once they get into it they try to add and add as much as they can on people who don't know any better. My girl dropped 1200 for nothing. SCAM

I've taken my vehicles to Nick's several times over the years, and they've always done thorough, timely, quality work for competitive prices. The owners really care about their business and ensure that they have highly competent staff who provide outstanding work and service. After having dealt with a couple of really awful mechanics several years ago, working with Nick's has been wonderful. I give them my highest recommendation.

My family was stranded here because of a blown transmission, they had a new transmission ordered & installed in just 5 days. They are so warm and welcoming there, we really felt like they cared about getting us back on the road and we didn’t feel price gouged at all. We paid half of what we were expecting which is what we would’ve probably paid back home. Thank you so much for helping us get back on our way :)

They are waiting on an engine for me that I ordered from a place I chose, that's still to be delivered. Delivery was to be a week ago initially and they've been very patient and have had to rearrange their schedules on our behalf. They came highly recommended by our long time mechanic that we trust immensely. Both their shop and our mechanic have "hand held" through this experience and I appreciate it. I'll revisit once the work is done, but so far, I'm nothing but APPRECIATIVE.

Had a major leak with my truck, they were able to diagnose it quickly. Once parts arrived, they were able to replace everything in one day. I typically work on my vehicles myself but this job was beyond my scope, Nicks auto service was able to complete the job quickly and for a fair price. Parts markup and labor charge were very reasonable. I will return for any larger maintenance issues on my truck.

We were so very satisfied with the customer service and quality of work. The communication was excellent, and Darrin made every effort to work with his team to get my daughter back on the road soon. She was visiting from out of state, but it made a difference for us that this business went the extra mile for us to repair her vehicle as quickly as possible. Thanks again!

They get me the best price on parts! Repairs are always done on day and time of appointment-- NEVER postponed -- sometimes faster than expected. People are always friendly and honest -- no hidden costs!! If they can not do work they recommend who can. They are the kind of people who go the extra mile to get you back on the road!!!!!
