I simply called to ask their towing prices and a guy answered and said "what do you mean" and I said I need a tow from a to b and he said "I don't have a truck for that, drivers occupied. Also asked if he had an eta he said NOPE. And acted weird and then I said okay, thank you and hung up.

Called to see about towing and prices. Person who answered said no and hung up on me. So they do not offer towing nor good customer service! I tried to call back to address it and they ignored my call so I left a voicemail! I’m editing my review to say I hope no one does business with someone who decides to reply like the owner did below. So sad to see such ugly souls

I locked the keys in the car and have been saying I was going to get a new one made forever, I called the first place on google list and I’m saving this number in my phone!!! Super fast and very affordable.

Yeah the guys at work there I have never in my life been mistreated so bad just trying to talk to a supervisor the guy acts like he's 5 years old he has no business doing towing he hops in the vehicle and tries to start it then he's revving it up messing the motor up and everything else they talked you completely rudely like I said it feels like the place is ran by 6-year-old chimpanzees I would not recommend this place to anybody watching the guy in the tow truck what's so pitiful looks like it was his first car he ever picked up. It'd be nice if they had people with IQs over 50. try to call and complain one time on them and watch how he acts like a child. It's really upsetting using these guys I really would not recommend it

Nope ! I do not recommend this overpriced liar ! One star is two too many ! Didn’t have a choice or say so on the tow! It was a fender bender , broken turn signal , Charged $350 , less than 10 blocks in town , car was drivable , but refused to take it off rollback ! Then after paying $350 cash only , told me the car couldn’t be driven off their lot ! It had to be repaired there or towed to another mechanics shop because it’s illegal to drive a vehicle with a turn signal that doesn’t work ! Seriously ! There’s such a thing as hand signals ! 3 out of 4 vehicles in this county either have broken turn signals or just don’t use them ! $350 cash only for 10 city blocks ! Shaws sucks !

Do not recommend. Apparently these clowns leave a husband, wife, and children. One of which has health issues in the heat while broke down. Then laugh and “chuckle” when the husband calls for a tow. Then makes up excuses why they were being ignorant. There are more towing spots in the area. Use one of them and Save yourself from being insulted. This place needs to learn to have more respect. I called there for a tow today. When I called my insurance company (geico) called before I did. When geico said they couldn't find anyone I decided to call this tow company. Now when I did geico already gave the information of a drop off for the vehicle and all pertant I formation prior to me calling and you still refused to to tow. So when I called I asked for a tow and and how much it would cost for a tow. Not once did you say you didn't have a vehicle. All you did was laugh and hang up. Remember I record all calls in and out by the way I didn't get a chance to tell you who was with me because you hung up prior. So I told the sheriff's department as well as an off duty sheriff's that lived close by and they were not happy. Also to the other person who called to try to help us out couldn't believe how he was treated as well when he called your company as well to try to help us out

I appreciate this company just a moment ago laughing at my husband when asking for a tow off 250 S. Our dodge journey broke down with our children in it, one that has anhidrosis (doesn't sweat) and carnitine deficiency. So we are already worried about the heat with our 3 year old. But to be laughed at when asking for a tow is horrible add on top of how hot it is.

Tried calling just to get an estimated price for a tow, the man on the phone was rude and acted as if I was an inconvenience to him. Before I could even finish explaining the situation I was in, he said Jeez with a aggravated sigh and hung up on me. I would not recommend a company like this to anyone when the potential customer is treated disrespectfully like I was.

When I locked my keys in my car early in the morning, he came to my rescue so fast! He worked quickly, was super friendly, and was very reasonably-priced. I would highly recommend Shaw's to anyone needing assistance with their vehicle!

Shaw's has been the only towing service that we have used for years now. Jack is an incredibly talented tow truck operator and a really nice man! I recommend that you find out for yourself, you won't regret it!

I would NOT recommend this company for towing services. My daughters vehicle needed to get towed from side of the road. so I set up a tow with this company who confirmed vehicle was picked up at 4:50pm. It’s now 9:30pm and vehicle has not been picked up. When I called Shaws auto service they were rude and told me I had the wrong number. Guy said “you have the wrong F** number buddy”. Shaws auto service never called to cancel or tell me to go else where. Very unprofessional.

My girlfriend daughter locked her keys in her car on Thanksgiving day. I called Shaw's and he came over in less than 30 minutes. He unlocked the door and didn't charged for the service call. He told her to have a happy Thanksgiving. Wow.

Locked my keys in my car. Shaw’s came quickly, had a great attitude, and when it was done, he told me everyone deserves a break and didn’t charge me for the service. Made my bad day into a better one! Thanks again.

Excellent service! Had slid into a curb on some ice and smashed in my passenger wheel, sadly for the life of me can't remember the guy's name due to shock, but he came promptly to tow me the rest of the way home, gently loading me up and dropping me off so as not to cause anymore damage. Charged me next to nothing. Was also very knowledgeable about the damages and where to go to get the work done cheap or how to do it myself and where to get the parts. Thank you SO very much!

I was having a terrible day and locked my keys in the truck. I called them and they were there in 10 minutes and let my son help them unlock it. And the sweetest part was he didnt charge me. You dont even know what a blessing it was. Thank you so much! You guys rock!

My car broke down on our way to our vacation. It was very stressful because it was hot outside and I had my two hung boys with me. One of my boys is autistic and this was all very traumatic for him. We were stranded on a Saturday and nothing was open to receive my car. The driver Jack was so patient and helpful. He really was the only bright spot during the whole ordeal. He took good care of us. If you ever need a tow Shaw’s is the best. He took care of us and followed up promptly afterwards. I wish more businesses ran like this. Thank you Shaw’s!

Thank you so much for your service! The driver came out to Michigan City within 45 minutes of my call to my insurance for a flat tire. Very friendly and polite gentleman. I highly recommend this company for their prompt service and kindness.

These are your guys!!! They came out in 15 minutes on Thanksgiving Day and provided the most professional service I've ever received. Charged much less than I expected, would recommend to anybody. They can handle big trucks and combination vehicles too.

I was stranded at work with my keys locked in my car and they came out and helped me immediately!! They had my car opened in a minute! I was impressed! They were super friendly and professional and recommend them to anyone! Will definitely use them again in the future!

Amazing service! Popped a tire on the day of moving into my new home and the man who came was a lifesaver! Had everything ready to drop my car off at sears even though sears was closed at dropoff. He even took my keys and filled out a letter and dropped my keys in sear's drop box and made it possible for my car to be worked on immediately the next morning. Recommend to absolutely anyone.

Great service!! I locked my keys in my car and Laporte county cop recommended I call Shaws. He came out immediately and got my car unlocked for me while pouring rain. I will be recommending Shaws to everyone I know!!

I locked my keys in my truck while visiting my wife at La Porte hospital. When I called they said they'd be there in 15 minutes. I called back 45 minutes later and asked where they were. He said he got tied up and was on his way. He showed up less than 2 minutes later unlocked my door and wouldn't let me pay him, because he said he was late. Awesome people with awesome service. I would recommend their services to anyone.
