I had a great experience at O’Reilly Auto Parts thanks to Jim. My Jeep battery died in the cold, and Jim was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He walked me through the options, helped install the new battery, and made sure everything was working properly before I left.
It’s rare to find someone who’s not only good at their job but also genuinely helpful and friendly. Jim went above and beyond, and because of him I’ll definitely be coming back. Great store and an even better employee!
The dude working at the front desk, forgot his name but was ABSOLUTELY awesome. Pretty sure he had a managers shirt on, I can see why! Most down to earth honest dude. I’ll only be getting my parts from this dude.

I Needed 2 quarts of oil for my car and I typically go to the O'Reilly's in Oak Forest, Illinois or Crestwood, Illinois because those 2 locations are closest to where I live and I like the service I received from both stores. But on this particular day, I happened to be in Schererville, Indiana and upon stopping at a gas station, I checked my oil and saw that I was a bit low and according to my cars owner's manual, the level of low that I was at, it recommended to get oil in the car immediately. So while in the area, I googled who would be the cheapest and best auto part store for oil and sure enough, the highest in Google reviews was O'Reilly's and it was just 3 min away from where I was. There were 2 gentlemen working there, I wish I would have gotten their names, but they were very helpful with making sure that I was purchasing the correct type of oil I needed for my car. I not only showed them a picture I took of the sticker that is under my hood stating the kind of oil that is needed, but they also looked it up on the computer too, because I did mention that I have over 200,000 miles on my car. So I needed a high mileage synthetic blend of oil, but the cheapest possible because I was a little low on funds at the time. Both employees were very helpful and showed me where the oil was. I purchased the 2 quarts and I was able to drive home feeling much better and not worrying about losing my engine/car heading back to Illinois.🙏🏼

I had a problem with a previously purchased car battery. I have to take a minute to extend my gratitude and appreciation to Roy Zuniga for taking the time to fix the issue. He was polite, and knowledgeable and didn't make me feel like I was imposing for asking for help. He is a great Manager for the Schererville location. In comparison to other auto parts stores, quite simply there is no comparison in customer service. Hands down go to O'Reilly's!!
Jen was wonderful both on the phone and in person. She helped me out quickly and patiently and walked me through options.
Now, when it came to the actual install, As a woman I am always very appreciative of a man that does not talk down to you or make you feel incompetent when it comes to vehicles. Dan was that man today! He took time to work on a pain in the as$ battery of mine and didn’t have me feeling like a nuisance. Ask for Dan and Jen next time you’re in there and need some help.
It seems their system with the internet is much better then the other 2 auto parts franchises in the area. If it says they have it online then they ussually have it in the store.
This is the only place I stop to get my parts/supplies for keeping my vehicles clean and running right. Everyone there is really friendly and treat you like a buddy that's ready to help.
I was parked by the back and ALAN knocked on my car window and said that “You need to move because this is delivery.” In a rude manner. Like what? That is not how you TALK TO CUSTOMER. I understand you hate your job or you’re having a bad day but honey don’t come at me with your attitude. I was minding my business. And then I asked what his name was like “ALAN!” In a angry matter. Do not talk to me like that so disrespectful.
I’m always greeted by all of the employees no matter who is working the counter, which is really nice.
They also make sure to help as best as they can to get the correct parts/tools for the job at hand. Thanks for all the consistent help!
I will always be a returning customer thanks to the assistant manager Dave who gave some of the customer service ever. Thanks again Dave for all your help today. Your fast work ethic showed put today and you got me in and out so I could be on time to pick up my children.
The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful but did not have what we needed, which was an O2 sensor for my daughter's car, In stock and at a reasonable price. The one we needed was over $200. and had to be ordered.
We went to another auto parts store and found it there for a great price.
