Took my grandmothers car to him. I thought he was a reputable mechanic by the reviews. Boy was I wrong. He was only supposed to diagnose the problem and then let me know what the issue was so I could decide whether to move forward or not. I dropped it off on a Tuesday . I called Wednesday before closing to see if he had a chance to look at it and he told me no he was busy all day and hadn’t had a chance to look at it. By early Thursday morning he said it was all done and it was ready to be picked up! I was shocked that he finished it within a morning. My grandmothers car was having electrical issues. I was expecting a phone call for the diagnosis but never received one and was told he “fixed” the problem and it would be $400!!!!! I never even found out what he did but came to the conclusion he just cleared some codes. $400 to clear some codes with a scanner!! He said he spoke to the company he sources through to see if that’s what he should do, which is just your local NAPA AUTO STORE, and he charged my 86 year old grandmother $400 for that crap!! Needless to say after driving it an hour ALL THE CODES POPPED BACK UP!! I called the ford dealer and they said it’s definitely a wiring issue and that clearing the codes is just putting a bandaid on the problem. I called Roger and he got mad and told me to bring it back and he’ll try to see what the issue is!! I thought after $400 YOU FOUND WHAT THE ISSUE IS!!! I’m not taking it back to him for him to charge my grandmother maybe another $400 for nothing. I’m taking it to the ford dealer that’s only charging me $300 to find the wire that’s causing the issue.
This mechanic is a crook and is not competent to do electrical/module issues. Maybe he’s good at brakes, tire rods, and the sort but he’s a scam for anything else! Plus he just does the work with no phone call for the go ahead and fix it permission! He was a ONE AND DONE for me, unfortunately!
Best Auto shop around. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great service always. Great mechanics. Always treated great. Been going here for the past 7 years and never any issues.
Charges way too much, we first went their for a sensor that only cost $100 for the part but charged an extra $400 for labor. After putting in that part, it didn’t work so then charged us $100+ on another part but this time charged an extra $700 labor fee.
They took my Chevy van in on short notice because I was in a bad spot, The mechanic did an excellent job! They called to let me know the issue and price, will be returning in the future. Thanks Roger’s auto repair!!
The shop does good work. But just be weary I scheduled and oil change and ended up getting a bill of 122$ the price included work I didn’t ask to be done and was expected to pay the full amount. And he made it seem like he did the extra work as a favor to me meanwhile I didn’t care for the extra work to be done and he’s the one making extra money
Roger is the GOAT! We brought this man a vehicle we introduced to him as needing an oil change, and coolant leak repair. He found a rusted engine mount as the cause to the coolant leak and did some other repairs. My check engine light is no loner on after 3 years and my car is running the best it ever has in the 4 years I've had it.
Roger's stand behind their work. We are very pleased with his work, he calls to discuss the work he needs to do, he goes above and beyond making his service better than any car repair shop around. For one, Roger charges way too much for labor costs. He's unprofessional, he doesn't call you back if you attempt to get ahold of him, and he is rude as an individual. The only shop I've ever been to that charges damn near $100 for a courtesy check and diagnoses. Not only does he charge too much, but he is refusing to release my vehicle to me until I pay him his outrageous prices for this "courtesy check" because I want to take my vehicle elsewhere. During his "courtesy check" he didn't even follow instructions on what to diagnose I would not recommend anyone to take your vehicles here for service, because he doesn't care about your vehicle he only cares about your money.
