It's a good old auction house to buy cattle, pigs animals. They're a little slow when it comes to putting animals in and out, but other than that it is what it is
Went there Saturday for the 1st time. Spoke with a couple sellers, a few buyers and in total probably 7 staff members. I am new to this and was looking for goats. Everyone was absolutely fantastic!! They even helped me get my goats loaded up in my Camry! Lol. Thanks for a great experience and ill be back even if it is an hour and a half drive!
they have auctions here almost every Saturday for over 130 years. we just found out about it a few weeks ago and already bought several goats and ducks
It's really not a place to bring your grandchildren as the guy that keeps slapping the animals for no reason, even a lame & blind animal. He should be fired. I should've filmed it. I'd be afraid to actually purchase anything as it would be injured by the time I got it.
It's a great place, it just isn't 5 star great.
No offense intended, I mean, I love the Sale Barn, but I'm just being realistic with the review,
Rabbit, Chicken, Duck, Peacock, Goat, Hog, Cattle, Horse, any other farm-type animal, plus an outside auction of all kinds of seemingly random mechanical and farm & country items, all this every Saturday morning!

If I could give zero rating today I would. I have been bringing livestock to the sale barn for a number of years and today was the first time that I truly feel that I was cheated and that the sale was rigged. I brought registered Nubian stock into the sale. All goats had registration papers which I handed to the woman at check-in. If the auctioneer would have sold the goats in order, my goats should have probably been the last to go through the sale, but instead they were the first and were sold as unregistered stock before I could even park my trailer and enter the sale area.
I am beyond upset because those goats were sold for well under the value they were worth. They weren't even sold for market meat price. I feel that this organization should make right the mistake that they made but no one offered to do so. It's a shame because in future I will have to look for another place to sell my livestock because obviously I cannot trust this business to do what is right.
Cool old building and I had a bit of fun exploring a potion of it. I went to just check it out today but I will likely go back to buy something. It was interesting watching the small animal auction. I have never been to one.
Wonderful place to sell your animals. Honest and hard working people who run the operation and always has time to answer any questions you may have. I recommend anyone wanting to sell animals to give this place a try.
The right hand isnt sure what the left hand is doing..the younger guy working the ring runs the animals so fast thru the ring you cant even check to see if the animal walks right or any other problems, majority of the time they'll have a new animal in the ring before bidding is close to stopping on previous animal. Then he gets mad throws a temper tantrum and its rush rush rush !!!
