I work in Knightstown, and while still 30 minutes away, my low tire pressure light came on and my tire was at 25! I called at 7:30, hoping against hope that someone would answer even though they don’t open til 8. By the grace of God, they answered! Not only did they make time in their schedule to patch my tire that day (they found a 4 inch nail!), but they drove me to work so I could still be on time. Two hours later, I got a call saying it was fixed, then I was able to pick it up on my lunch. Knightstown Tire & Auto is a blessing!
Would give it zero if I could. Called got a price for a battery. They asked if I could call them before I got there so they could have a bay open. I tell them I am leaving Walmart and headed that way. They then called back in 5 mins later and said they would prefer to not sell me a battery because I didn’t come to them first. It’s disgusting of a local knightstown business poor shaming someone for looking for a lower price.
I wish I could give 6 stars! We were stranded after blowing a tire on I-70 and Dave graciously stayed open half hour after closing to help us. He even let me borrow his car to pick up the rest of our family who couldn't ride in the tow truck! He replaced our tire and when we were ready to pay, he smiled and said, "Merry Christmas!" Please do business at Knightstown Tire and Auto!
I’ll preface by saying that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the customer service during this visit. Everyone we interacted with was very nice.
My husband and I recently took our vehicle to a dealership to get a recall repair. While that was being done, they informed us that a noise we had been hearing was a CV axle going bad. We knew that if that was the issue it needed to be fixed immediately, so we took it here for a second opinion (and upon diagnosis, a repair).
We were told that there was nothing wrong with the axle, and that our car didn’t need any immediate repairs. A couple of weeks went by, and the noise continued to worsen. We took it to another repair shop recommended by family members, and they said it absolutely was the axle. The other shop diagnosed the issue, and had it fixed in a few hours.
This could have been a very costly and dangerous mistake had the axle broken while one of us was driving the car.
Had a tire blowout on i70 and a quick search showed Knightstown Tire and Auto not far away. Used the donut to get there and Dave set me up with the only tire he had available in the right size. He took care of it immediately to make sure I got to my meeting in Ohio on time. Could not have asked for better service. Thanks, Dave!

Drove an 1 1/2 hours with with a truck up there to buy a set of tires off of him. We asked him if they were all good tires he said yes they were. Just put them on and ones got a busted band so beware
I would give them 100 stars if I could. This place got me in as soon as I pulled up out of the blue. They changed and balanced all 4 tires, and disposed my old ones for me for an unbelievable price. So I can't tell you. It's worth your drive to them and find out for yourself. I was not there 30 minutes and they were done and I was back on the road. Great people.
They did a good job fixing my car but their prices are super high. The guy that fixed my car for me was trying to charge me double the price for the parts. I looked the part up on auto zone and it was only $95 and some change. This guy was trying to charge me $189.99 plus tax for the same exact part. Only good thing about it was they let me get the part from auto zone and sent over to the shop to be put in my car. Definitely gonna shop around a bit more next time my car needs work.
Horrible experience. Went to this shop 3 times twice for an oil change and once for new tires. Cross threaded the oil drain plug and gave me wrong tire valve caps for back tires with no way to take them off. When I went to ask them to take them off they said they didn't do it ???. Nobody else has touched my tires but them. Beware going here for big or simple things
The guys here are very nice and knowledgeable. Had my car fixed within 2 days. 800$. Steep but they were honest about everything and got my approval with a quote before they starting working on it. Quoted me a little more than it ended up costing.
Helped me at 1 am when my s10 truck burned up wheelbeerings on i 70 on my way to Cleveland Ohio limped it there on the shoulder of the road we tore it apart and waited for Napa to open best guy i have ever met ill be back soon got another s10 lol sorry i haven't been back this was probably 4 years ago but still remember the people that have helped me
Definitely a kind, honest local tire and auto service area. My tire stem broke while I was driving home to Virginia, and these guys replaced it on the spot for me. I'm pretty sure they undercharged me for the service (only $14). I will say that they didn't explain to me up front that I'd have to buy a new tire pressure sensor because the old one in my tire could not be separated from the broken stem. This made it a little surprising when I got the bill, since I had to buy a new pressure sensor. But this wasn't their fault, and they did an excellent job explaining to me afterwards.
