Was stuck on the Salem Bypass headed to New Salisbury with an SUV and trailer with 4 wheeler on it. Called and pretty sure it was less than 10 minutes before they pulled up. Drug me all the way home and helped me get everything unloaded for a very reasonable price. Hope I don’t need their service again any time soon, but from now on I know who to call! Thanks again!
It's never a fun time when you have to call a wrecker service. But ALL 3x I have had to, and called Salem Wrecker over the last few years, they have gone above and beyond the call of duty. They've always billed me fairly (and even less than what they prob should've for their time at least once). Me and my family are devoted customers and will never call anyone else.
My van overheated last night an hour into my drive from Sellersburg to Bloomington
so my journey was finished. After trying for several hours to get help from my insurance company's roadside assistance, a person who stopped to check on me told me about Salem Wrecker. So we called them and in a short time, they came to my rescue. That was the cleanest, nicest wrecker I'd ever seen and Ethan hopped out and went to work loading my fan. He was so pleasant from the beginning and worked very efficiently. We then had an hour's drive to my house and we talked the whole way. Such a nice young man! When we arrived at the mechanics shop, he very carefully and efficiently unloaded my van. I 100% recommend Salem Wrecker for your towing needs.

January 10, 2025. Spoiler alert: THIS is a LONG story!! At 6:00 PM I left my home at 7 hens farm, located 6 miles outside Paoli, and headed toward town to CVS. Just 2 miles from home, at Copeland Hill, I was turned away by law enforcement due to many accidents on the mile-long hill. I was foolish to not return home, and I set out to do the 10-mile reroute in order to get to US-150. Big mistake. BIG! More accidents. More re-routes. The gravel trucks could not keep up with the plows, the plows that dropped gravel weren't dropping enough. In my Kia Soul I lacked the traction I needed. I was unable to get up the hills. Yep. This IS a long story! I finally got to US-150 in the merciful gravel trail left by a plow in West Baden. Onward east, I hung out in Paoli, giving all those snow workers time to make progress. It was snowing hard. This was Part 2 of the ugly storm we'd had earlier in the week. I had left home HOURS ago, but finally I decided to try to get back. By the time I reached Copeland Hill, it was still a disaster. If you know the area, you know Joe Apple Hill (525S) was my only chance to get up to the high elevation where my farm sits. I almost made it. Almost. But 3/4 of the way up, I slid backwards, spun around, landing front-first in the plowed snow on the side of the road. Meanwhile, all over Orange County and beyond, wrecker services were maxed out. Orange County Sheriff's dispatch put out a call for help for me. Over the next 4 1/2 hours I waited. I ate snow. And then, like a warm-up act to the 2nd Coming, came the beautiful sound and sight of SALEM WRECKER SERVICE, bright lights emerging through snowy mist and dark forest, beaming down Joe Apple Hill. Shaun and Jacob, my smiling heroes, jumped down to greet me and assess the situation. In no time, I was freed, and since I was a little jittery from the experience, Shaun drove me home in my car. Jacob followed in that gorgeous wrecker. This is one of those times one wishes there was a warm pan of gooey brownies, just out of the oven, that I could have given these splendid human beings, these cheerful professionals, my heroes. I knew they were exhausted from rescuing others (many from Copeland Hill, I learned) over the last 20 hours or so. Shaun and Jacob, I'll never forget you. I'd been out there 10 1/2 hours, and you brought me safely home. I am forever grateful, and your biggest fan. I owe you a pan of brownies, kind sirs.
Blew the side wall of my tire out and since I bought the car brand new a year and a half ago, I had no idea that I was missing my donut and part of my tire iron. So, I used roadside assistance through my vehicle purchase, they secures Salem Wrecker for towing and within 20 minutes of the roadside assistance securing Salem Wrecker Service, my car was getting moved and lifted onto the bed of the truck. They were gracious enough to tow it to the dealership for me, called to let me know they had arrived, filled out the drop off form and placed it in the overnight box.
