Have went to Partin's many times either through work or on my personal time. They are close and convenient for any scraping needs or pull a part for vehicles. So far have not needed parts for a vehicle yet (knock on wood). The staff is professional and have never had a issue with them will continue to use them.
got my Toyota a transmission from here they were average people but they worked with me on a price other junkyards were wanting 350 to 400 dollars for a transmission they let me walk the yard until I found one. they pulled it I picked it up and my car was back on the road within 2 weeks.
The kid running the scales won’t make it very far in life with his poor work ethic and cry baby attitude. Closes at 5 but you better get in there at 4. His exact words, “we’re not weighing you or paying you for what you’ve already unloaded.” I’m sorry I’ve been helping clean up an elderly couples property for them after work and got there at 4:35. Looks like I’ll be finding a new salvage yard to take junk to. Not worth dealing with mouthy kids. I apologized to the girl and curly haired guy who were understanding. That blonde haired kid. Needs sent down the road to the next job. Guarantee he won’t be able to kick his feet up in the office and sleep anywhere else. I’ve walked into and seen it multiple times now. Whoever does the hiring around there might wanna think about who they hire on in the future.
This company dropped a roll off near my home and destroyed new sod. the driver very clearly got stuck and did not even knock on our door. we had to find it on our own, after calling this company and leaving a message for a manager twice i still have not received a call back from a manager, they did come out however i requested to be present upon their arrival and they failed to set up a time. Not only am i disappointed that the driver failed to notify us but the company and representative that i spoke to seemed to be very passive. this happened LAST WEEK and there’s been no accountability on the company’s end. Be careful who you do business with folks. because for me this screams a lot about the characters of those running this business. If i an innocent bystander is treated this way, then i hope they treat their customers better.
I called to make sure they had the exact car parts that I needed. They said they had several of those vehicles and could accommodate what I needed. My husband told him that he didn't want to drive the number of miles he needed to to get there if they didn't have what we needed. They promised us they had what we needed to get. After spending a lot of gas and driving a lot of miles my husband arrived there only to get told that they didn't have any of our type of vehicle there. Not only that but they had a bad attitude and smiled,and smirked when they told him that. Almost like the didn't care if he had wasted his time and gas or that they lost a potential great customer. That is so frustrating. I don't recommend this place because they are not truthful on the phone and they are not kind when you are there in person. I give them one star because there is not an option for no stars. Partin a Sons are not worth your time, effort,or gas.
Be cautious called for a price and wanted almost $200 for less parts than what I called in the week before with a price of more parts they make their prices as they go and will rip you off I don't recommend them every time they say they have something I drive 2 hours they never have it so I waste my time and money
The guy payed me for cast and i had all aluminum. He wrote it for all aluminum but payed me 20cents at 51 pds cast ! I had scrap from an outdoor ac unit it was aluminum.
Called this business twice for a transfer case. Once to see if they had the part and then again before heading there just to double check. Got there and was told they dont have one. What a joke. Cost me 20 dollars in fuel. Why wouldn't you just say no to begin with. Had to wait 20 minutes to be helped also. Will not ever be back.
You will get better prices at most any other place that you take your scrap to be sold. I could live with getting a little less money but what is ridiculous is that they close at their own discretion. The sign and the hours online both say they close at 5:00 but I've tried to go there twice in the last month where they closed anywhere from 20 minutes to 5 minutes ahead of time. Not a good way to do business
Brought in 100 lb.of insulated #1 or #2 copper and they weighed it and dumped my copper int their bin an I go to the window and they rated it as Low grade and told them I've sold the same type of scrap there 2 other times and it rated #1 or # 2
Paid me 1/3 of what it was worth.

I put four stars simply to be seen this place has weren't so down hill I am saddened but the lack of knowledge, friendliness, respect, and manners of the new crew. I used to feel welcome pulling Into partins...I know longer do. The employees now are not welcoming
I feel that I'm intruding on social hour when I'm there. Not sure what training is needed to drive a front loader but I think it needs to be taught again I understand enter any own risk but I've never had any thing damaged until today. The crew now is very immature when it comes to knowledge of there jobs. The YOUNG adult driving the front loader bent my axal on my trailer (recently bought 2 load on it) trying to remove a van. This is something I've seen the older crew do multi times ( with no issue) .They did not even APOLOGIZE. I know the owner of this bussiness must be busy but I sure hope they send in secert scrappers or something to see what is going on when they are not around. What a shame that this beloved company has declined like this.
Very large salvage yard with a large selection of every vehicle you could think of extremely cheap prices with helpful employees I would recommend to anyone having a hard time finding auto parts. I was very impressed will be going back in the future.
more into recycling not into customers needs waited all day for a part i had to prepay for an still didnt get it !!! dont recommend this business for anything.
Nick and Jamie. We're helpful and courteous, as well as friendly, in a way that big city businesses sometimes aren't. Would heartily recommend Parton's to anyone. Thanks
