Boight oil, filter, and electrical wiring supplies. There was an additional charge for using a credit card. Sorry, I don't carry that much cash. Moving forward I will take my business elaewhere 👎

May be a little pricier than some other part stores, but whatever you buy you get quality. Very nice and knowledgeable staff as well.

Small business but aiming high with the agenda. We came in a couple years ago for a battery. My son found two used batteries near the trash can at the apartment complex and saved them to properly dispose of as the other person was not being responsible. When time came a few months later He brought them in to exchange for a new one for our car. Small discount that helped. When months after, we come to find out the new battery, we were given was bad. Brought it back to warranty for a better battery. Come to find out that one was bad too. When we exchanged the salesman made us wait 30 minutes to get that exchange. Why, not sure. But it seems they may actually know which batteries are bad or maybe they helped it be bad. At any rate I feel strongly this may have caused my alternator to wear out having to work harder to keep Both bad batteries charged. Not good. Living in Cicero was a nightmare as we were not welcome. Only one business stayed professional. We had bad treatment all around. Will never shop here again, and no one should. It is the oldest and saddest behavior but not new to feed off of others less fortunate to gain in some way. Not good business or integritous intentions. The heart of a business is what matters and bad ethics for whatever reason is simply wrong and spreads everywhere. Even if you are a favorite customer it will in some measure happen to you. I will not support businesses that behave this way. Definitely not a coincidence IMO.

They have most everything you need for a small town auto parts store. Beats driving to Noblesville!

Jeff Rules!! If you are looking for some oddball part Jeff is the one to see, because he has enough experience to be able to find just about anything. Unlike many typical parts places who can't do anything if the computer doesn't show it. Jeff has the ability to look in the old school catalogs and find the needed item. He has been a life saver on many of my projects. Definitely worth stopping in!

The change of ownership is a breath of fresh air to an unnecessarily withering local gem. I purposely have avoided using for years because of non-existent customer service. I have given them another shot after many years, and was glad I did! Joe and Jeff will take this place to new heights, and I hope to help them get there by supporting their business. Recommended

As usual, Janet and her employee came to the rescue with the parts I need and a decent price, and a parts warranty.

Always really good quality work. I like B&c engines because their prices are reasonable and they are attentive to customers needs. Many shops in Indianapolis care much more about their business connections with auto garages and as a result neglect the small guy slash weekend engine builder. I had a bad experience with a female answering the phones on one occasion. I asked a question about sbc head design and bolt hole position. Her response was that she didn't know but she though both heads were the same as far as bolt pattern. I asked if there was anyone at the shop who might know for sure if that was in fact the case because i was about to buy heads based on the information. So she set the phone down without telling me what was going on. Next thing I heard was her mocking me as if she didn't know I could hear her in a very condicending and unprofessional manner. If she didn't know the answer I would have been much more happy with a definitive "I don't know" rather than an answer which left her free from accountability. I don't doubt she knows a thing or two about engines but she certainly can't handle customers in a professional manner. She potentially will take away volume from her awesome machinist in the back. She may even be the owner, I'm not sure but she certainly isn't good for a business whose been around for 50+ years. I feel bad for the guys who have to work for her/with her. The only significant and hopefully embarrising blemish on this otherwise great engine establishment.
