Do not trust this account as a vendor. They were given a preliminary credit limit then maxed it out as fast as they could then went completely radio silent and are not paying back anything they owe. I am now out over $5,000 because Eduardo has ghosted us for 3 months. Would not recommend doing business with them.
I wouldn’t even give these guys 1 star if I could. Worst experience ever! I bought a transmission from them, and it turned out to be bad. When I called to ask about a replacement, they kept lying every single day telling me “it’s coming today afternoon” and then in the evening changing the story to “tomorrow.” This went on for 2 months, and still no transmission. When I purchased it, they promised it would arrive the next day and said it had a warranty. All lies. Completely unprofessional, dishonest, and unreliable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.
Terrible!! This company is a fraud! They charged us money for a transmission and it was supposed to be shipped. Excuse after excuse. First they pulled an automatic transmission instead of a manual transmission that we ordered. Then supposedly the tag fell off and the shipping company was not able to move it. Then they sent me a new tracking number and we were not able to find the tracking number. Called the shipping company and they could not find the transmission. Called back and they had another transmission that they were going to personally deliver. Never showed up and now they are not answering our phone calls. Definitely not a trustworthy company!
The product is of poor quality. I arrived at the same price I called. But they told me it was $300 more expensive and said, take it or leave it, I will buy the motor twice. The motor is bad.
I saw an suv for sale on marketplace and it turns out it’s from this auto shop. The car looked great in the pictures so I decided to make the 1 hour drive to hopefully purchase the vehicle. I test drove it and everything seemed fine. No lights or drivability issues. Janet mentioned she drove it before I arrived and I should’ve taken that as a red flag but she seemed very nice and trustworthy so I ignored it. The VERY NEXT DAY, the check engine light pops up and it turns out it’s an evap code. I brought it up to Janet and she offered to replace the gas cap but that’s definitely not the issue. Apart from the check engine light, the battery is a bad battery which I had to get replaced on my own. This place has a dealership license and claims they have a dealership but they clearly do not sell dealership quality vehicles. The more time passes by, the more issues I find. They couldn’t even bother to put the same brand tires on the car. When I brought up all the issues it has to Janet, she eventually went from being nice to defensive and a bit rude. Let’s not even get started with her “boss”. The fact that they sell and repair cars made me less worried about what I was buying but it bit me in the ass. I know I can’t expect a perfect vehicle when purchasing used but I atleast didn’t expect hidden check engine codes or I expected to be told about the issues when looking at the vehicle. I’m so disappointed in them and the fact that they still sold me the car knowing my financial situation and the fact that I have BABIES to drive places.

I very rarely leave reviews, but I had to for this. Janet was AMAZING. I walked in super overwhelmed, not even totally sure what I needed, and she was so patient and helpful the entire time. She helped me find every single part I needed, made sure it all matched up, and didn’t once try to upsell me or push anything unnecessary. Purchased a 3.0 Subaru engine from them. Seemed super nice a helpfull at the time. Supposed to have "less tha 60k". Had a timing chain issue right off the bat.. Called them. Yep no problem, we'll send you another one. Well, that was 2 months ago. Nothing. Now they don't answer the phone. The engine is still listed Car-Part, now it's at a higher price. Guess we'll se how it goes in court. Places like this should be ban from that wedsite.
Back in November 2024, we purchased a used 2010 transmission for a Suburu Forester. Eduardo obtained one with 125K miles on it. We have not had any issues with it; it's better than the one it replaced.
I went through a third party got an engine from this so-called all auto parts place in Rockford Illinois I needed a enginefor my wife 2012 Dodge Charger and he sent me an engine out the engine he sent me out looks like it had been sitting in water it was rusted all over and on top of that it wasn't even the right engine my mechanic wasn't even going to put it in the car that he could tell by looking at the engine and then it was not the right engine and he could not wire it up the wiring was so short he couldn't even wire itI did get my money back after I filed a stop payment with my bank they finally sent me my money back and he argued trying to say the engine was good when the engine was not good I sent pictures of it to my bankthey gave me my money back he did not want to give it back but they diddo not do any business with this guy he is a crookI know it's taking me a year to post thisI still have the engine I told the guy to come and pick the engine up but he wanted me to pay $300 out of my pocket to send it back to him and I told him he was crazyI still have the engineplus I got my money back so all in all he got screwed not me went to another place got a engine with the right engine and got it installed and that engine runs great do not do business with all Auto Parts in Rockford Illinois they are Crooks they will scam you for your money these guys should be put out of business permanentlyif that was anybody he's lucky he didn't mess with the wrong people in Texas people in Texas don't play that game
Bought a used engine from ‘Eddy’ paid to have it installed at dealer, when they went to run it it was also junk, after many phone calls and hassle and lies they agreed to cover a % of the labor and send another engine. Never got labor check but another engine finally showed. Installed and had no oil pressure. ‘Eddy’ told me to run it that’s normal as it had been sitting and it will come out of it. He was warranting it anyway and see what happens. Well no pile pressure you can guess what happened….. Now I’m 2 installs and removals in on labor and no reimbursement no new motor. Said he would return my money as he had no more engines. Went to get check and after depositing it it had bounced or was cancelled. Took him to court and won for a refund of engine and 2 install and removals. 2 years later haven’t seen a penny yet!

Bought an alternator from them that they had on the shelf and they said it worked. I got it installed and it was junk.
They tried to upset me a brand new one but I just got my money back instead.
I went to lkq and they had quite the variety. I got a freshly rebuilt alternator from lkq for a little over half the price of all auto parts junk alternator
This is the worst salvage yard if ever had to do business with. I deal with yards all over the country and this one takes the cake by far. Horrible customer service, horrible staff, crap quality in reman parts. Charged me $2800 for a "reman" engine, got the engine delivered to me two weeks after they said it would be here and the "fresh" engine was full of rust in the intake ports. Had my shop correct that issue and still had to swap over the lower section of the engine block because they sent us the wrong one. After all of that, they agreed to reimburse labor to make the engine fit and now here we are 3 months later and get nothing but the run around. Go buy your parts from literally anywhere else. This place needs shut down.
We ordered the engine, well and good. However the core was to be picked up, its been over few months and still here. They say someone will come pick up, the core check will be coming, nothing yet!
We spoke with them today and they said will have someone pick up the core engine. Lets see!
Hope they rectify their business practices for the good.
Nothing happened yet, they said the check was mailed, did not receive the check for the engine core.
Called again today 092824, Eddie said he will be mailing a certified mail with the check.
update 10/11/2024.Still have not received the promised certified check.

Eddie is the best! I’m always able to get the pieces/parts I need. Every transaction is smooth and you cannot beat the prices. I can usually call in the morning and pick the piece up the same day. I have recommended them to so many people and the feedback is ALWAYS good. I would totally recommend if you are in the market for used parts.
Do NOT purchase anything from these hacks. They'll sell you a blown up junk engine, make you wait a week for a replacement, all the while giving you the run around about when said replacement will be there, just for them to never bring one. Customer suffers becasue now they have to wait even longer to get their vehicle back and shop looses precious time with a vehicle tying up a rack. Would give zero stars if possible.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
1. Never shipped the motor out like they said they would. Called them multiple times (4-5) and got a different lie every time. Motor took an extra 2-3 weeks to receive from when I was supposed to get it.
2. Motor finally showed up but they stripped it down. Was supposed to be a complete motor but was missing over 10+ parts.
3. Talked to supposedly the owner and he was going to ship out the missing parts and refund me $800. I agreed thinking I would receive the parts/refund but again kept getting lied to etc and never got nothing.
4. Lastly I had enough and told them I already issued credit card fraud and they can have the motor back as I was done. Funny enough they lied to me again, they said they didn’t get the motor till Monday but according to my tracking number they received it that previous Thursday.
I would highly recommend not to buy from them and if I would have read the comments before I bought I never would have.
Buyers beware, I wished I had looked at their past reviews before ordering. One thing these guys are good at is consistency, and not the good kind. Whilst on the phone before ordering we asked them what their "reman" blocks consist of. Unfortunately after three weeks of waiting we looked it over and all original parts were reused, we were promised new OEM Crank, Rods, Pistons and FELPRO head gaskets which is apparent weren't installed either. FELPRO gaskets are blue and stamped with their lettermark. All surfaces of the engine block were negligently spray painted including the valvetrain, intake ports, coolant passages, rear main seal and electrical components. The con-rods exposed at the bottom of the block brandish all factory hardware including bolts further proving the block is untouched from the car in which it was pulled. Multiple similar reviews on Google will show this is not an uncommon encounter with this company. I work with some very experienced Subaru master technicians who looked it over and strongly suggested against using the supplied engine block. Too bad, I was looking forward to writing a good review if it checked out. Usually you attract more business being reputable... just saying!
Absolutely the worst purchase experience of my life! I paid $2500 for a low miles engine back in September, well it finally arrived November 3rd. Not only was the engine well over 100k miles and sitting outside for months, but it was not even the correct engine. I contacted customer service and they asked for pictures so I sent 20-30 to make sure they had whatever they needed. Waited a few days to hear back and nothing, so I finally called back and was told its the engine you ordered but you can ship it back at your own cost and then we will refund you after a 30% restocking fee! So to return the incorrect engine they shipped almost 2 months after I ordered my return would be $1400 of the $2500 and thats without me paying for shipping! On the plus side, I found out you can file small claims court online so I don't have to go to Illinois to file. Please save yourself some time, money, and stress and shop some where different if you're buying online!
DO NOT DEAL WITH they are FRAUD!!! They claim to sell a rebuilt engine But the engine are USED. They spray PAINT the engine and Claim it rebuilt. I had to send the engine out to another machine shop to have it rebuilt. They should be closed!!! Here is a pictures of the Engine they claim to be rebuild..
