If I could give zero stars based on the way they treated me and my son in law on 09/12/2025, We were the only Blacks in the store and they ignored us all while we were there they helped the white person while we stood there as he (the clerk) was giving him ( the white man) 101 on the brake line he bought, which was totally unnecessary, then after that wait he left us standing there and went in the back! then my son asked the girl that was there a question and she totally ignored him and looked him dead in his face and walked away! The one Hispanic guy in line with us said damn that was rude!, and I replied it don't matter cause what ever they do won't change anything or whine back the hands of time! They ( the people working there), were all light skinned Hispanic people. to top it off, I asked the older Hispanic guy about some codes that I wrote down with the numbers and what they meant, because I was going to purchase the parts to fix them and he told me they don't do that and he is not a mechanic! mechanic? I asked I know what they meant just needed to know if they had the parts available! With your already struggling empty store you need to hire more friendly professional people who don't take what is happening to their people out on people who look like me! No training will help racism, when it is deeply embedded in them!

This store is a joke they sell you parts you try to parts on and come to find out it's a wrong parts and then when you try to take it back to get the right part or get your money back they don't want to do it because it got dirty while you were trying to put it on if they would have sold me the right part in the first place I wouldn't have had to go back I wouldn't recommend advance Auto parts to anybody and I've worked in the automotive industry

Vanessa was incredibly kind and knowledgeable when the time came to replace our car battery. She went above and beyond to provide elite level service. Part didn't fit vehicle and they refused to take the part back after an unsuccessful attempt to install the part. Offered to swap for same part in stock, but that part had the same defect

Horrible place. As soon you walk in you get yelled by someone you don’t know that’s an employee. The place stunk like pot. The manager doesn’t acknowledge you being there. So was just a horrible experience as soon as you enter. Just trashy people bad customer service. Oh no return no exchange no warranty. Best place is Autozone.

Looked up a part at MY location ,showed on sale and got there and the price doubled and was told I had to order it on line to get that price this was one 02 sensor for 44.95 if I wanted to order it online I could get all 4 for that price.

So my starter that I had purchased a year ago was still under warranty I had the receipt it had gone bad so I took it up to the closest store that I had to walk 2 miles to get to just for the staff to turn me away because there excuse was they couldn't honor my warranty stating that because I bought it at another store in town they couldn't exchange it ok ..well I got a ride to the store originally that I purchased the starter from the staff was very helpful and nice there good job ladies the boys at the other store were no help the staff at the second store asked why the first store didn't exchange the part and I had a few questions after that because the second store told me that the first store should have exchange the part and now I have to get another starter again on my next day off because the replacement one is not working properly either I can not afford to miss work like this I tried to call the staff at the second store this morning to make sure they will have another starter in stalk tomorrow because I have to walk more than two miles to that one to exchange the new part tomorrow but all I get is a busy signal on the phone the store has been open since six it is now almost 8:00 am I am truly happy with the parts and service that I have received.ps the first starter replacement had. The same problem a year ago please check your products you sell .. Thank you....

Terrible staff. Placed an order online to pick up a part said it should be ready in 30 mins so we showed up maybe 5 mins before the 30 mins was up because we had time and nothing to do. Went into the store where no other customers were waiting and told them I had an order to pick up. If I had to wait a few that would have been fine because it was just on our way to our next location and we weren't in a rush so while waiting we're just browsing around killing time and when we go to get the item the employee wearing the mask informs me that next time I need to wait to get an email before I come in and get my item. Not like they were swamped with guests, we were the only people in there and he was standing around doing nothing. I wasn't in a rush or anything and took him literally 1 min to find the part and grab it. Then went into the store a week later and the same guy was there, rude again. Lack of customer service. If you really hate your job that much then please go find another instead of being a disgruntled employee for having to do your job your getting paid to do. I also work retail and I would never have that attitude with someone. Terrible attitudes from the employees, especially the masked guy behind the desk whose too lazy to do anything

I like it when I go during the day. But when you go at night there's one person that will not help you. If you need them to put windshield wipers on or help you put a battery in your Fob!

Terrible store with some bad employees. I went in the store two days ago letting the guy know my car is dead and I’ll need a new battery installed. I have a 2012 Chevy Malibu and he said when I bring it in Friday they will take care of me. Gave me the battery part number and everything to make it easy. When I went in today the guy at the front seemed already annoyed. Told me he won’t install my battery because “he can’t work on newer cars like that”. Didn’t even look at my car at all to see if he could actually do it or not”. So I took my car over to Auto Zone right down the street. The guy at the front went outside, looked at my car for 2 seconds and said it’s an easy install. Not even 6 mins later I left the store with a new battery installed in my car. Go to Auto Zone!! not Advanced Auto Parts. The guy at Advanced just did not want to install the battery. Terrible

My guy had to go get a starter for his car last minute, we live close to the 11th st location but they did not have it in stock so they sent us to the 20th st location right next to Walgreens. He was in and out with the new starter in 5-7 minutes and still had time & $ left to stop and get me some dark chocolate for an early V-day gift.

There's a gentleman named John here that is completely rude and unprofessional. I felt mistreated because of my race. I will never again come to this place unless this guy is gone I spend too much money to be treated like a nobody. And I will make sure everybody that I know never shops here.

I want to give a Shout out & Thank You to Marcus @Advanced Auto Parts on 11th st for assisting me Today and helping me find exactly what I need! I truly Appreciate it and he was Very kind! I was treated poorly at the E.State location and was dreading going into another location but as soon as I walked into the store the 2 employees Greeted me right away and asked how they could assist after telling them what I was looking for they very quickly began to assist me. Once again I just want to say thank you to Marcus!

I had come in after work with my check engine light on. Terry greeted me. I explained my situation and he used his machine to diagnose the issue with my car. He was kind, knowledgeable, and happy to help. I was explained all my options in a professional manner and Terry helped me find the best options for my car problems. He did not try to overcharge me which is rare now a days and because of that I will be coming back to this store for all my car needs. Thanks for the great experience Terry, keep up the great work!

Carl at the Rockford location really helped me out in a pinch. Carl found me the best battery at the best price for my car. Not only that, he also took the time to teach me how to swap out the old for the new. On the Friday afternoon of Labor Day for that matter! Really can’t express my appreciation enough. They are always helpful. The only problem I've ever had with them wasn't there fault someone put the wrong part in the box from the shipper and it came to them that way. But I prefer them over the other guy's in town hands down.

Great customer service. Needed a clip for my hood stand. Part was in stock, but the package contained multiple styles of clips. The gentleman went out to my vehicle in the parking lot and installed the correct clip for my vehicle. Very courteous and helpful.
