We were on our way to a camping trip when the brakes on our RV locked up, leaving us stranded hours from home with no tools and no easy way to fix the problem. Thankfully, we found Trackside Auto Repair.
The team immediately worked us into their schedule and began diagnosing the issue. They replaced a brake caliper, hose, rotors, and pads, but during the test drive discovered additional problems that required a new master cylinder and brake booster. Since those parts couldn't arrive until the next day, they even offered to let us stay overnight in their parking lot in our RV while we waited.
Once the parts arrived, they jumped right on the repair and had us back on the road as quickly as possible so we could get back to enjoying our weekend. Throughout the entire process they were professional, honest, accommodating, and genuinely cared about helping us out of a difficult situation.
When you're broken down far from home, finding a shop you can trust makes all the difference. We were incredibly fortunate to have Trackside Auto Repair nearby. Excellent service, great communication, and outstanding customer care. Highly recommended!
Took my 2018 honda pilot to get an oil change and a transmission fluid and filter change. Received a notice my vehicle was done but transmission fluid wasnt changed. When I called down I received the explanation that the vehicle takes 3 different kinds of transmission fluid and he was unable to determine which one to use so he suggested taking it to a dealer. The vehicle actually takes two different kinds (honda atf dw1 for the 6 speed trans and honda atf type 3.1 for the 9 speed touring model) and all I simply had to do was call a honda dealer parts dept with a vin number to figure out the correct type to use (dw1). So unless you take a ford f150 to them you may have issues. That and beware of the extra charges for services you didnt want. They will always slip in a 7 to 10 dollar charge for wiper fluid that I never ask for everytime I get an oil change.
I came in to Jim’s Custom Auto after having a bad experience with my prior mechanic. I told him all the things that were wrong on my truck and he made time in his already busy shop for my truck to get repaired. He was friendly and professional. I recommend them for anyone in the area.
I have always used Jim's since I got my first car in high school. He's decently priced and very professional. I would definitely recommend him to everyone needing something done to their vehicle!

My family (4 adults, 1 child and 1 cat) and I were traveling back to Virginia from visiting my husband in Colorado when the AC on our vehicle went out. I had no idea what I was going to do but found the closest Walmart that had an automotive service center. Not only could they NOT help me but apparently the first two people I talked to, a worker and customer, had no idea where in their town I could find a mechanic. I was starting to feel helpless when I saw another customer and tried one more time to ask for help. He was so helpful and recommended Jim’s which was just down the road! We made it to Jim’s and from the time I walked in until we left around 2 and half hours later we were treated like family! The men who worked on the car were so friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t miss a beat getting us back on the road. The lady in the office was also so friendly and made our stay inside much more enjoyable. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! I wish I had gotten everyone’s names! We made it back to Virginia in a cool running AC vehicle! lol Thank guys!! I went from feeling hot and helpless to meeting you guys and knowing everything was going to be okay. You guys are awesome!!
Traveling with kids and stopped at the walmart to see why the van was shaking at 55 they referred us to Jim's who stayed late on his Friday night to get us in and out quickly which was amazing and for a great price for a family on a very tight budget we can get where we were headed now thankfully if it wasn't for this shop of awesome kind helping people we probably wouldn't of got back on the road and headed to our new future no shaking as I type so work was A+ + as well thanks again all of you and an extra thanks to the lady who was so nice to my kids mom was stressed out and cranky and they had to many van hours and you made them feel welcome it was appreciated
Complete incompetent hacks posing to be professionals. Making excuses for not getting work done in a timely manner and extorting customers for mechanical work is the only thing they're good at. If you value your vehicle do not take it to Jim for repair work
Took my car finally on the highway. The vibration is gone. Very happy with the service. Had one tire wear wrong and a bad vibration at highway speeds. Jim's was honest with my car not needing an alignment, they troubleshot with tire shop and finally figured out what was wrong with my car.
