Last week, coming back to Texas from Indianapolis, I noticed my battery light came on. The battery indicator needle went from mid level to low rather fast. Being a new battery, my first thought was alternator. I had my wife search online for the nearest AutoZone and continued to the location, as everything electrical slowly began shutting down. We had gone through a barrage of heavy rain and we hoped it would let up. By the time we arrived, a/c, lights, radio and all gauges had shut down as I hoped the engine wouldn't die too.
We were greeted at store 2685 by Westyn and Larry, the manager. After verifying the correct replacement, Larry loaned me the tools I needed to replace the alternator and Westyn proceeded outside, in a light rain, to assist me. We are forever grateful for their assistance and professionalism. They were patient and very knowledgeable regarding the replacement part and the tools needed. Our detour through Fairfield Illinois showed us that there are still places in our awesome country that value honesty, hard work and selflessness.
Larry and Westyn are to be commended for their work ethic and representing AutoZone in such a positive manner.
Broke down on the highway and needed a new battery. Called just short of closing time to see if they’d stay a little later so we could get things going. They said sure! So thankful they were willing to help us out!
These guys and gal are top notch for customer service. Went in and thought my car was done but we ran a code and got it fixed. Not only did they assist with the code they also fixed my car right there in the parking lot. They earned their cookies
It's hard to explain it's just I wonder where u hire some of these employees and the rate that u go through is unreal because a real part store has a relationship with the customer and knows them we can't get to know each other if you go through so fast like changing ur underwear and socks
As a female I sometimes run into the"you don't know what your talking about" kind of people- but not here even when the female staff isn't there the men treat me with respect. Very happy with every experience
Stopped in there after my jeep threw a code over 1000 miles from home. Was helped by an awesome employee named Ryan who diagnosed the code for me, identified the part on the motor, and even offered to get my dog some water. I wish I lived closer to this store cause they're awesome there!
My car stopped moving and I needed to change the transmission filter. Went in into autozone to get the parts and they told us we needed 8quarts of fluid which would cost over 50$ itself. We were getting ready to checkout and he voluntarily told us he could price match to Walmart so he saved us $45.00 and told us he was glad we came to autozone :). Always have a good experience here.
