Went in today at 9:13 am, said good morning to the staff behind the desk. Staff didn't respond nor look up from his phone. Wiper blade machine would not allow me to search for a car within my year (2020). Never offered help, no greeting or response to a greeting. HORRIBLE customer service. Drove 5 min away to Advanced Auto Parts. Sad!!!!!

I've always loved Riley's. Your staff is usually helpful and they'll help me do things like change out wiper blades and my headlamp. Today my headlamp burnt out so I stopped in to get a new one. The two gentlemen inside we're doing absolutely nothing but standing around. No one asked me if I needed help. So I looked up the information and figured out what I need and went to pay for it hoping i got the right light. The gentleman did not ask for my rewards, i had to ask him about it. I asked the gentleman if he would help me figure out how to change the headlight. He said he might in a couple days maybe but not today because it's too snowy in their cleared parking lot and maybe not until next week. So after I purchased my headlight, the two grown men stood around doing nothing and watched me out the window while I struggled and did it myself. Last time I was here and the weather was perfect, I got wiper blades. Again, no one asked if I needed help. Again no one asked me if I had rewards. After I purchased the blades and hoped they were the right ones, the men told me they were too busy to help me figure out how to put them on and maybe i could come back in a couple days and maybe they would help. It seems they don't want to help the customers. Not an O'Reillys I ever plan on going back to. If I wanted to be treated this way, I'd just go to AutoZone.

This is not a serious place, I don't recommend. Trying to push merchandise that has been opened with damaged packaging, dirty grease all over and scratches, obviously a returned part. Not once but twice... Manager not above lying to avoid responsibility.

I started coming to this store years ago after a bad experience with Autozone. This is my first stop for parts. I've never had a bad experience here. The employees are always helpful

I think they need more employees. There were two working. and neither bothered to acknowledge that I was in the store. I actually had to engage one of them to get answers. Not the best imo at being able to service in-store customers in this manner.

I was only visiting this area and found myself in an emergency situation with my cooling system. Out of all the Oriley's I have been to this was the best by far. These guys are helpful and very personal. Thanks guys!

This Oreilly’s location is ALWAYS on point. They always go over and beyond to ensure excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. During a very frustrating time after getting a used engine put into my son’s truck, you all were amazing in making sure he received the parts he needed without the run around sand over charging as a couple of the others in the area do. We use to live right down the street from this store but are now a little further out, not too much but would rather drive the extra mile(s) to this location for a much better customer service experience than to settle for the one right down the street. Thank you all for all that you do! You ROCK!

I Stopped By 10Mins Before Close Because My Taillight was out and Dustin The Employee on duty Helped me find the right light the. Helped my with his tools to change the taillight. This guy was informative , quick and helpful . Thanks Again Dustin !

No customer service, they just talked to each other and they gave me incorrect advice twice, so I had to go to another store to find someone who knew what they were talking about. And on top of that the Assistant Manager was smoking weed in the parking lot... Unprofessional!

I came here because my car just stopped in the road on me Daniel from this fairview heights location went above and beyond x100 to get my car corrected. Words can't express my level of gratitude. Thank you Mr. Daniel and thank you O'Reilly for having such an awesome employee. # truly blessed

I like this store and did use it for all my auto needs. However they lost a $700 sell from me this week b/c the young boy working at the time had horrible customer service skills when I tried to purchase tires and a few other items for my vehicle. Unnecessary attitude. Employees should know basic customer service skills like when someone says “hello” you don’t roll your eyes and say nothing or when I ask about products the response shouldn’t be “well most people would look that up for themselves”. I refuse to spend my money when people handle me in a condescending manner. I’ve had good experiences at this store in the past but because of the one this week I won’t be returning.

I had gone to another auto parts store looking for an equivalent for aThermo King air filter. They couldn't help me. I walked into O'Reilly's and in minutes they had crossed it to a Wix and had one ordered in for me. All in just minutes.

I have always used this O'Reilly Auto when I have the option too for the past 3 years. I went in this morning with an exhaust problem and the employee who helped me was more than helpful! No need for details but my exhaust does not rattle anymore and he saved me a garage bill I'm sure. Thank you again O'Reilly Auto, keep it up!

Guys here are fabulous. They answer questions and not in a "mansplaining" way. Always cheerful and go beyond their job description. I had a pickup truck load of boxes and cargo netting over it but wasn't sure if it was stable enough to take on the interstate. One of the guys graciously came out, made some adjustments, shook it to make sure nothing shifted, then gave me a green light. About 2 years ago, I'd purchased several large appliances and needed to rent a pickup to bring them home. I'd stopped by, (since Lowes has no rental trucks and Home Depot said it was reserved all weekend) to see if they rented out their trucks. They did not, but an employee there said if I could wait a few hours until he is off work, he'd use his own POV and help me to get them and help my husband to bring them inside. That right there makes me a permanent advocate for O'Reilly.

Bought a battery here and it was bad, tried to return the battery and they do not refund if the battery has been installed. If you buy a battery here I guess your supposed to take it to a mechanic and make sure its good before installing it.

They sold me parts for the wrong vehicle! He confirmed it twice and still got it wrong. He was at least polite so I'm going with 2 stars. Maybe they need a little more training? Or basic listening and reading skills? I probably won't bother with them again though. Make sure you know EXACTLY what your part is supposed to look like before you go in. Because they certainly don't.

Disagree with other review. Staff was very helpful each time I visited. They remembered details about my project and made excellent suggestions about parts and equipment. I completed my project at minimal cost thanks to these guys.
