Aside from the paint "setup" a great experience. Had trouble finding what I was looking for(Extreme Temperature Clear Paint or coating). Found a whole row of High Heat Enamel, but they didn't resist a high enough temp. The Customer Associate was quick to see that I was having trouble and IMMEDIATELY came over, asked a few questions and started looking with me. After a minute or so, I noticed what I was looking for(3 rows over & 5 rows down from ALL THE OTHER "High Temperature Sprays!). But I appreciated his initiative and helpfulness!!! Would recommend using this parts store!!

Amazing store. Mike, Patrick, and Thomas are rock stars. Phenominal customer service. Overall I enjoy coming to this store and will continue to choose them over a competitor next door!

I am a commercial customer of Autozone based in Florida, My sister had broken down in Waterloo, Illinois. So I called the local Autozone and talked to Thomas about what part she needed they had it in stock so I paid for it but it was after the delivery drivers had went home, no worries Thomas' co-worker Brad said he could deliver the part to my stranded sister. I visited the store the morning of July 9th and had a great experience. The Autozone employee (the younger of the two) fetched the filters that I needed and was polite and helpful.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I was extremely polite to there staff the entire time. Had to practically beg them to answer a few simple questions I had. Employee had a scowl on his face the entire time like I was inconvenienceing him. I could understand if they were buisy, but I was the only customer in the store and I seen atleast 6 Employees or managers in store. 1 example was when Employee and I wasn't sure which part I needed, I asked very politely if he could look at the part so I don't buy the wrong one. He emmidetetly answered no in a very rude way instead of politely refusing or agreeing to look at it for me in my time of need or to be treated with some dignity. At the very least not to add to my allready bad day. I could go on with more examples but it would be redundant. I was already having such a bad day because of the car problems I was having I really could of done without the employee that I was hoping was going to be my savior in my time of need not making things harder on me. I left and went to the other autoparts store that's very close to them. It was a completely different experience. Thay had No problem coming to look at the car or answering my questions. They tested multiple things on my car for free which allowed me to pinpoint the issue. they even gave me a referral for a mechanic. I ended up spending over $800 in parts with the other parts store. Which in a way means this autozone is paying a couple bad apples to ensure their competition gets more life time customers.

Went into the Waterloo, Illinois Auto Zone 5/17/2022 to redeem my reward. There was a little issue and Pam J. Auto Zone employee resolved everything. She went above and beyond in helping me. I highly recommend Pam J.for all of your Auto Zone needs. Thank you Pam.

I have been going to Autozone since I could turn a wrench. I have been buying parts for my personal cars, my family's cars, my friend's cars, and my client's cars. I have always prefered autozone over the other store in town due to the friendly faces. I have tried the other guys and they are fine as well. I have gotten to know everyone at the autozone family over the past two decades. I enjoyed working with Victoria when she was the Branch Manager and I am becoming acquainted with Patrick. He is a fine Branch Manager as well. The people that have worked day in and day out are the ones I am happiest to see the two that come to mind are Pam and Joe. Pam might be one of the most helpful people I know. She doesn't mind looking up parts for the multiple cars that I simultaneously juggling for the week, while also returning my cores, and bagging returns that my clients changed their minds on. This is not always an easy feat as I have well over a hundred cars on my account and looking up an item might take a minute or more expecially if I have been sitting on it a few weeks. She is always happy to see me and greets me as I walk through the door or is a pleasant voice on the phone when I call ahead to verify a parts availability. Joe is also high on my list as well. He has worked there for asl long as I remember and I have never seen him in a bad mood. He sees my car pull up and before I get inside will have my account pulled up when he sees me bringing in a core. I enjoys meeting the new faces and getting to know them as I frequent the store weekly sometimes multiple times a day. I am generally under a time crunch when I go to pick up parts as most people are and the employees always do their best to hurry so I can get back to work. Reguardless of my wanting to get back under the car I often catch myself spending a min or two after I pay catching up with one of the employees or another, usually Pam. I have had my differences with Autozone over the years like any family there is always things that one doesn't see eye to eye on, but they have always done right by me in the end here at Autozone Waterloo Illinois. Keep up the good work guys! If I was a guy that send out Christmas cards, I would send you guys one every year.

Took my dead battery in and had it checked. AutoZone associate was very helpful. He gave her a charge. She didn't make it. They had the OEM match to replace it. The old one was five years old. Prices sure have gone up, didn't see that coming.

AutoZone is my go-to store. Recently, I went in to purchase some license plate bolts/screw to hold my new IL plate and my new frame. I was greeted by Pam, not only did she tell me that AutoZone did indeed carry such item, she walked me directly to the area and gave me some very helpful suggestions as to what would work the best. As always, the store was very neatly kept and the service was excellent. Will be back!!

I'm not one to write negative reviews, but I have had ill feelings towards this location for years. Pam has to be the rudest person I have met, and it hasn't been lately. It's been years. Ever since O'Reilly's came to town I started shopping there to not deal with the negative attitude. Well O'Reilly's didn't have the part I needed so I decided to run to AutoZone to see if they had it and continue working on my truck. Low and behold Pam was working. Gave me attitude the entire time, and then told me I was wrong when I told her it wasn't the part I needed. I could have looked it up myself and showed her, but eff it. I'll order it online from somewhere else. I'll never step foot in this store again. I gave this store 2 stars because the rest of the employees are nice and want to work.

They had the item I was needing to purchase and verified by an online search. We also have O'Reilly Auto in town so it is competition. Did not have the exhaust flange that I need.

I recently had the rear wiper blade taken off during a car wash so I stopped by AutoZone in Waterloo to get the replacement. The auto specialist retrieved the correct blade and installed it on the car while I was paying for it. They were all courteous and professional. It was a refreshing experience you just don't get that kind of service every where today.

Gordon was SO HELPFUL! He changed my back taillight in under 10 minuted and checked me out and everything super quickly even when it’s -5 degrees outside. Very apologetic for taking so long, but he didn’t take long at all! KEEP HIM. He’s the definition of a great employee!

Just a overall great experience when I go in. The staff is always helpful and friendly. From helping put on wiper blades to batteries in my key fobs, to... you name it, they could not be nicer. No matter what questions I have or recommendations I am looking for, they are happy to help. I appreciate being able to get advice from folks that are so knowledgeable.

Probably the worst experience I have ever had. My dad called in an order and they couldn’t even have it ready by the time we got there which was a 45 minute drive. They waddled around the store attempting to find they part they already found prior to us getting there. The amount of incompetency they have hired in this store is astronomical. Will never come into any auto zone again.

great service..I had a dead battery..o Reilly's refused to install a battery I called auto zone. Derek one of their workers came across the street and jumped my car then installed a new one for me..that's above and beyond my expectations

Had a few problems with communication. Could have been computer problems or maybe it was the covid... Took a few days longer but eventually we got everything we needed. The lady incharge kept her word and made good on EVERYTHING she said she would do whick we greatly appreciate.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are always helpful. The only time I have ever needed something they didn't have in stock they called a competitor for me and actually got them to match their price on the parts.

I've been to the Autozone in Waterloo several times - the employees have always been attentive and knowledgeable, the store is always appropriately clean, well stocked and organized. Will definitely do business here again.

They did not have the part I needed for my 08 Land Rover but in their defense it is on the side of a specialty SUV so I will not hold that against them. The customer service is awesome.. They spent a lot of time trying to figure out what we could do to fix my broken part with an alternative. They were very happy and outgoing. In my opinion they went above and beyond to help us. Thank you! It was cold cold cold outside with I've everywhere except in front of this store. The made sure the entrance was safe and easily accessible. I recommend a visit to this store if you have a situation that you need help figuring out.

I'm always given the right parts the first visit at this location. The staff is friendly, passionate, and very knowledgeable about their store. You can't go wrong with this location.
