Do not bring a gas grill as the local PD frowns upon those.... there's a grill that takes charcoal, though. Nice little get away for a few hours or so.

This place is fun any season you are in. Sledding in the winter and hiking up it in the summer. Fox River Grove has done an amazing job at beautifying the space.

It's a great place for sledding in winter. In summer, you can't grill in this park.

Beautiful spot to come with family. Or a nice walk with your dog. Great for parties outdoors. But remember to get permits.

Grrat place to sit and watch the river and the boats. Has a playground, wouls be nice if it gets upgraded though and if there's a tot lot for smaller kids.

This place is amazing in every season. We have used this place during spring/summer and winter. During spring/summer lots of stuff to do for the kids and to play with the park amenities. There is a wide range of things for kids appropriate for all ages. During winter, primarily kids can ski, snowboard, and other snow activity. Depending on how severely cold it gets the river freezes where people walk on it or jet-skies drive on it, but I would not recommend "river walking" on ice or near river for young kids. Overall, it is a very nice place and highly recommended for kids and picnicking during spring/summer. Beautiful view from top of the hill. During winter you will have to be cautious and watch the kids to be safe.

Please don't ever be stupid to launch there thank you. You don't want this nice officer to come by and laugh at you cause YOU did the wrong thing..

Very nice and clean w are enjoying the time here with extra service that we have from a bella vista Mexican restaurant in algonquin they do excellent food.

The place is fabulous for a quick getaway and get connected with nature, but now they added rocks to the east side of the parking lot and there is no water access. Why rocks and not sand?????

Beautiful, clean park. Loved the view and open places to walk. They also have some one selling Barbque there now on weekends! It was really delicious.

Had a blast lots of friendly people. Dog friendly and porta potties also a food truck is there on the weekends

Beautiful park with a great view of the fox river. Come for the fun events, or a simple picnic. Access by boat, car, or foot.

Nice big open park. Water access, playground, sand volleyball court, big sledding hill, small gazebo, fishing spots....

$5 parking fee for non residents. The park is clean with a beach area, playground, pavilion and plenty of open space too run around.

Nice park great sledding hill for winter and nice riverfront for fishing, swimming, and so on. Fireworks were not very impressive but oh well.

Clean and beautiful park that's great to visit any day, but it is important to note that non Fox River Grove residents must pay a parking fee
