Larry W greeted us with a smile and installed our battery into 100° temperature. He did it fast and efficiently and was very patient with us. He Ensured that all our needs were met and that we were very satisfied.

Larry is an asset to AutoZone. He's the employee I would want to encourage because he appears to be a hard worker and he's always at AutoZone helping customers. I'm not a frequent customer - I maintain my own cars, but Larry is the reason I keep coming back to the Godfrey AutoZone. It's the only store I go to for auto parts and supplies.

My Husband and I went into the Godfrey Autozone @ almost 2pm to have the codes read on our vehicle. The man who helped us was the most helpful Autozone worker we have ever experienced. He went above and beyond and knew exactly what we needed to do in order to not waste time and money. A true mechanic, who didn't want to rip us off. We were very appreciative of his help. Sorry never caught his name.
I go into this place I'm Godfrey road and of course it's that grouchy rude black manager asking me to test an alternator he told me I got to have a year make a model and then answer the phone not once but twice why he's waiting on me let me stand there for another 30 minutes. Save your time and save your money don't go to this place

They have a 9 $ part priced at fifty make sure you see their screen they also wanted 22$ a piece for wiper blades the cheapest brand so yah Amazon or Walmart people these parts stores aren’t worth their “convenience” I literally walked out laughing when he had the total over 70 $ as the kids say yall be doing too much
It's probably not typical for an auto parts store to get reviews, but it is important to mention that during the last few months several times and purchases for my vehicles I received very helpful and adequate service from every associate at my Godfrey store.

They need to have more people that can drive a manual transmission! It took 3 people to pull the car out b/c no one knew how but as long as you don't get the cheapest wash they do a good job & the follow thru with there rain check!
I went to buy windshield wipers and PJ was really helpful. Not only did he help me find the right ones for my car, but he also put them on for me! Very happy with my experience!
Derek is the best Auto Parts salesman there is he helped me with anything and everything that got really messed up at Advance Auto Parts I will always go to this store because they are professional and friendly they also gave me a military discount
They're always reliable the great on price and they always have my part and if they don't they can give them the next day thank you for that thanks for doing a good job.
I needed new wipers for my car and Andrew (I think) was a tremendous help. Not only did he point me in the right direction for what I was looking for he looked up the correct wipers for my vehicle, offered me suggestions on which to purchase and went above and beyond when he helped me install them in about 30 seconds flat. Andrew was truly the gold standard of customer service!
The “Acting Manager” Larry tried to charge me a core charge even though I gave him the core he said (I have to charge the core charge then you have to have it refunded later) Nope not how that works then after getting the part he handed it to me wrapped in paper and said he can’t give me the box that it comes in because he needs it for the bar code this guy has been an issue for a while now and he also act quite demeaning to my wife every time she goes to pick up a part for me as well as any other female customer that I’ve witnessed him interact with. I’ll be going across the street to Advance auto parts for now on I’m sick of this guy.
Stopped this afternoon to have the battery tested on my vehicle. Deric K. was so great in helping me! He took the time to adjust the components of the battery and terminals and explained the issue. His diagnosis was quick and pressure free. Our family will be utilizing this location for all of our future purchases. Thank you, Deric!
I going to the gas station om the rain and had a hard time seeing out the windshield because my wiper was barely hanging on. So, I went to Auto Zone in Godfrey and told them that I had just purchased a wiper about a few months ago and the manager had helped me put it on. So I don't know why it's hanging off like it is. The manager and employee that were there helped me with a new wiper blade at no cost to me. They also helped me realize that the valve cover gaskets I had ordered earlier that week where the wrong ones for my suburban. Thanks Auto Zone for the help it was very appreciated.
I prefer this auto store over the other shysters, I have an older vehicle and parts sometimes are difficult to find. They usually can order them and they're there the next day.
