12/18/25 8:00am. The man came within 30 minutes. Chris literrally helped push our trailer to a curb so it couldnt be broke into. We broke down with a trailer load of bikes for kids for Christmas. He understood the importance of this load. We were at a dealership within the hour to get the truck fixed! They weren't price gouging either. From the call to the pickup hese guys were awesome!
I have been a customer for 15+ years, and I always leave satisfied. I have had multiple vehicles serviced here—from an oil change all the way to extensive body damage after a car accident, including tows. They are honest, fair, friendly, and upfront. 10/10 recommend
I had a flat on the interstate and was far from home and it was too dark where I was to work on it. They got out there quick got it loaded up and was super nice! They do an amazing job!
Avoid at all costs, they did more damage to my car than they claimed needed fixed, it's been almost 2 weeks and I'm still finding things wrong with it. From scratched paint on the side to a broken window switch, these guys are terrible, no accountability, had to make an insurance claim against them to even get their damage fixed.
These guys are amazing! My son's car broke down on the way to MO and I was in IL(bout an hour away) and they worked with me the whole time to meet me at his car and they were so nice, friendly, and professional. I am so beyond thankful for them and all their help. 1000% recommend this company if you are ever in the area and need a tow. Thanks again!
Thank you so much this evening after my serpentine belt broke on me ! I don't remember the tow truck drivers name but he waited with me until my neighbor got there to pick me up! Around 4:30 pm on RT 140 on July 9th. Please tell him thank you and he's a blessing to me!
Received towing from Cross Auto Body & Towing this morning. Very professional and super cool crew. Got to meet both owners. Tow truck driver was Chris was cool and on time. Company well put together and tow yard was secure. Treated with much respect and great conversation and jokes as I waited to be picked up. Owner kept checking to make sure I was ok and that was much appropriated. Made my breakdown much more manageable. So thanks again to the crew at Cross Auto Body & Towing. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called at 7:58pm from Triple A.. I called Cross and asked for their ETA, a worker rudely answered and said “about an hour, no drivers” .. Cross Auto Body & Towing arrived on scene at 10 PM! It took 2 hours for help out in the cold, although we’re both located in Edwardsville! Terrible service! 01/17/2025
You want to talk about some people that know what the Heck they are doing .. This is the place to call.. In the trucking industry you get all sorts of folks that are just plain mean and really don't want to help you ... NOT THE CASE here .. When I got to my car parked in the SIUE lot last night, I had a flat tire. :( Darian from Cross Auto Body and Towing was able to come out quickly and replace the flat tire with my spare. Darian was kind, personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He made quick work of the replacement and even gave me some good tire advice. I recommend them 100% based on my experience. 5 stars! :)
Awesome crew of people who helped us when we needed an emergency tow. They were quick, calm, and helpful while helping us in a stressful situation. They directed us to a mechanic who they knew were open and made sure we were supported before departing. Couldn't have picked a better location.
Highly recommend! My truck randomly died in a gas station parking lot and AAA sent Cross out to tow it. Cross called me when they dispatched their driver and he was there within twenty minutes. Super friendly and speedy service.

Cross saved my day. I had been stuck on the I-255 waiting for another tow company to help me with a blown tire for 2 hours. The other company kept pushing me off. When I called Cross, they had someone out in 15 minutes even though i was outside their normal service area. Chris, I believe that was his name, took care of me in no time, and was a great guy. Talking with him calmed me and made me feel comfortable I would be able to get home safe. Thanks for your care and compassion!
The guy who helped us was great 👍 We forgot to tip cause we were so freaked out on the interstate. He was courteous and arrived when he said he would. Staff who I talked to later was very courteous in helping me with my insurance claim. I completely recommend Cross Towing, hands down.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! A deer hit my husband in my Jeep and they took such good care of me, and my car looks as good as new. I am so incredibly happy with my experience at Cross. The staff there were amazing.
AAA sent Cross out in the middle of the night to assist when our car would not start. The Cross tech came out right away. CJ checked it out and got us started in no time. He gave me very helpful tips on possible additional maintenance and emergency equipment to consider purchasing to prevent future problems. My family has used Cross for repairs for 3 generations because we can always count on their mechanics to do excellent work. Clearly their tow team is just as skilled!
Called to have my car towed out of a garage due to what was believed to be a car computer error (I had called 2 other auto shops previously and discussed the issue - I was told it was a computer error), but the gentleman from Cross asked if it would be alright if he tried jumping my car so I wouldn’t have to spend so much money towing it just in case it was a battery issue. I said of course & he got it up and running, then explained why it worked. Didn’t end up having to tow my car and was extremely kind! Will definitely use Cross again. Very great experience.
Came quickly and worked hard to get my car to shift and then to tow it backwards up onto the tow bed. He worked for a long time to do the best he could to not damage the car and I was very appreciative of that! Great company and came highly recommended by my mechanic and the transmission company!
Cross towing saved us! Our boat was having issues on the water, that didn't allow us to get it back up onto our trailer. They met us at the lake in 15 minutes and helped pull our boat back up onto our trailer by hooking our trailer up to the tow truck. They are timely, nice, honest, and fair on price. I would highly recommend! I am not sure what we would have done, if they weren't willing to help.

Cross autobody is everything someone could hope for when they think of small town help. I have worked with several of their crew on a different variety of traffic accidents. They are always professional and friendly, and they do a top notch job.
I have also utilized their auto body repair services. They provided a very reasonably priced quote, gave me an accurate time-line and completed the work on time and in budget. Highly recommend!
What a great experience from a bad experience. Had an issue where our son had our car down in Edwardsville. He called and said it had died. We headed down and called Cross based on the reviews. They were spot on. Charlie was fast and extremely friendly. We are not from the area but he was willing to tow it back to their shop and evaluate the issue and give us a quote for repair. In the end we ended up getting rid of the car but the staff at Cross were nothing but accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend them!
Great company, bening stranded on the side of the interstate far from home is never a great feeling. I called Cross and they were friendly, their tow driver arrived quickly and they were able to repair my vehicle so I could get back on the road only 2 hours later! Their staff is professional and they really went above and beyond to help me in a time of need. Their trucks are quality, staff is knowledgeable and prices are extremely fair. You can trust Cross and they won't try to sell you stuff you don't need. I was lucky to find this great family owned business.
