Predatory toward first-time sellers. I brought auto parts including a catalytic converter, and everything was dumped on the scale and labeled “steel” with no inspection, explanation, or option to separate items. They only Paid $9
Experienced sellers might know how to protect themselves, but beginners should be very cautious here in fact I would just recommend going somewhere else all together just bc of the bad experiance.
I wouldn't so much is take a turn back to that place they were rude disrespectful the guy didn't know what he was doing I had my copper separated number one number two he dumped it all one bucket and tried to pass it all off his number two and then when I called him and the thing he's going to be rude and tell me to get my stuff and leave that he didn't want my business so if I was you I wouldn't go to this place I wouldn't go nowhere near this place like I said they don't know what they're doing and the owner he's quite rude and quite disrespectful you know so take it as you want but I wouldn't take
The Guys that work @ CKS are Always very polite, Willing to help out with whatever you need. Kevin, the Owner is So polite, And he works just as much as his Employees. Eric is The Best!!!! He Always talks to us and I would recommend CKS over MAW Salvage Unless you want to be treated Poorly or get ripped off...

Seems like they scammed me.. I took a washer machine and two water heaters there and I got paid $16... not worth the time unless you are really running low on cash.
Couldn't see scales, wasnt greeted had to get someone's attention. Felt like I was dropping of something at a house not a business. Just a weird experience. Should have known what I was getting into when I came across.the early 90s website they are still using. Including what greets you at the door in the photos
A worker noticed that l had some #1 bright mixed in with #2 copper. He IMMEDIATELY sorted the two metals and explained to me that the brigh copper was worth more than the other. Of course l was grateful because he didn't have to do that. And by the way, their prices are very competitive.
