Called in a panic because my car stopped working. I had a feeling I knew what was wrong and I knew it would be super expensive. They were able to look at the car the next day and let us know that the problem was much simpler than I was dreading. They fixed it for a fair price and had it back to us good as new. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely come here again for any car troubles!

Don’t go to this place ever. They do not know foreign cars at all. They are only there to rip you off. I was even told by the manager to “take my car to the dealer and my truck has miles of hoses in it.” This should have been pointed out before they worked on it.now I have to take my truck to get it fixed. I wish I could have went somewhere else. If you have a Range Rover STAY AWAY!!
I had both my vehicles serviced here. I had problems that needed to get repaired but could wait. I was not pressured to do it at the time that it could wait until the spring. I really appreciate that. I was looking for a great repair facility that appreciate you and your business and I found it here. They will go over your car and explain everything and let you make a decision no pressure. Will be a repeat customer for any problem that may arise with my vehicles.

You can trust this auto shop. The knowledge and professionalism that comes from the staff is second to none. I've had two jobs done here now and both were completed with excellent communication, efficiency and speed. Compared to other shops the prices are clear cut and reasonably affordable. Ken has superb customer service and is a delight to discuss things with on the phone. I will continue to use this shop as long as I'm in the area.
I love that they do an inspection with the oil change, it was very affordable that way. I don't see how I could've gotten a better price on it. Everyone was nice and the drop off was really convenient! I'll definitely bring my cars here again.
My older sister recommended LG automotive since they take great care of her and her husband’s cars, and they took great care of mine! Ken is very kind and trustworthy, and their drop off/late pick up service is very convenient. I will certainly be coming back for further repairs and maintenance!
This place is amazing. My car's dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. I don't know a ton about cars but I knew that it could potentially cost me alot of money to fix the issue. Called LG automotive and Ken was absolutely great! He got my car looked at immediately and within a couple hours my car was diagnosed, fixed , and ready to be picked up in he morning. It's really hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I trust these guys and I would definitely recommend them.
This is a wonderful shop! The staff is friendly and they do quality work. I brought my jeep in there to get an oil leak fixed. They clearly explained what needed to be done and did the repairs quickly. I’m really happy with the entire experience. I highly recommend this place!

I contacted this company for a quote to have my axle drive shaft replaced. They were fantastic! Came in at a lower quote than most of the other places I spoke to, were able to get me in right away, and had a clean complementary car for me to use in the meantime. They were very quick about the service as well. Most places told me it would take at least half a day but they managed to complete the work in 2 1/2 hours and get my car back so I could pick my kids up from school. Super polite and professional. Will definitely use them again .
Had my timing belt/chain replaced. Very professional and communicative staff. Had some leaks fixed and a oil change. Always very nice and helpful. Competitive pricing and exceptional service. Definitely recommend. 100% from start to finish. And the follow up is great.

LG Automotive serviced my vehicle in July 2019. It was easy to get an appointment that fit my schedule and they were quick, explained everything they needed to do and spelled out all costs so there were no surprises. I was in search of an honest automotive shop as I know some can talk you into expensive repairs for you car that aren't necessary. I felt so comfortable with LG...and I'm happy I found my car place! 5 out of 5, for sure!
I have been bringing my car and our company's vehicles here for several years. I wouldn't consider taking my vehicles anywhere else. The service is top-notch. The prices are reasonable. I always feel like the folks at LG Automotive go the extra mile for me. Loren and his staff always seem to know when I need something done before it becomes a huge, expensive problem. They make dropping off my cars and picking them up easy for me. I can't say enough about how great LG Automotive is from a customer perspective. If you live/work anywhere in the Lake Villa area, and you're taking your car somewhere else for service, my question to you is why are you doing that? You need to go see Loren.
