A to Z Towing & Transportation is a spectacular company that either revives your engine, transports your car to the dealership or auto mechanic, and very timely and is efficient on how they handle customer needs with their car issues.
We were traveling and broke down just 4 miles north of Galesburg and called our insurance's number for our free towing benefit. After waiting nearly 2 hours with no dispatch, we began our own calling. (We should have done our own calling first!) Ashley responded personally and said she was just dropping off a vehicle and would head right to us. And that is exactly what she did. We were impressed with her speed and friendliness. She is amazing! We highly recommend A to Z Towing and ask for Ashley!
After Ford Pass dropped the ball and left me stranded for about 4.5 hours, I called and spoke with Ashley, and she arrived in about 20 minutes. She towed the truck to the Ford Dealership with no problem. Would STRONGLY Recommend A To Z!

I have made this trip from Minnesota to Indiana many times (50plus) thru out my life this is my first break down and need of help. They were very helpful for us being out of state travelers they brought us to a repair shop close by a hotel and this made our day even tho being broke down sucked! They were great and very helpful to us. It made being stranded less stressful. 10 plus stars if i could!!
Battery died nearing Midnight. Called the number and got immediate, professional and friendly response/repair. Was able to jumpstart the car within a minute. The service was quite cheap too when compared to other companies. 75$ may sound like a lot, but believe you me, other companies would charge way more than that.

Dispatcher was Ashley. Battery went kaput out of nowhere, but she showed up and gave us a charge for it for $75 bucks. She was very professional as well as a life-saver
Ashley was great, professional, experienced, communicative. Finding ourselves stranded with a failed starter at a gas station in Knoxville, IL while enroute to Iowa city, while towing a trailer, after 5 PM on a Friday night; Ashley answered the call when no other services would. She expertly got our car, trailer, and us away from the gas station in the middle of nowhere to safe lodging, where we could meet up with a mobile mechanic the next morning. Ashley and her brother provided superb tow service as an attestation to the pride and professionalism of A to Z Towing. Thank you so much for coming to our aid when no others would!

Had some juvenile delinquents cut the valve stem off one of my truck tires, and these guys are who my road assistance insurance sent. Young man worked in the rain with some VERY stubborn lugs along with some other setbacks in changing my tire. Even at the height of his frustration, he looked at me and told me he wasn't leaving until that tire was changed!! LOL Hard working young man, and I truly appreciated his determination in getting my VERY stubborn tire changed! Thank you!
Broke down on I-74. They showed up very prompt. They took me, my broken truck, and my 16' empty livestock trailer about 80 miles for a fair price. I would highly recommend, but I hope I never use them again. Good old fashioned service. Thanks!
This tow company is top notch ! We were broke down on I-74 on 2/24/2020 and we made a call to A to Z At 5:00 pm and and the owner was very polite and said he would have 2 guys come right out to help us . They showed up in a very timely manner, and fixed our problem in a short time . The 2 gentlemen that he sent were very professional and polite . I would highly recommend this company to anyone ! The mechanics are very knowledgeable, staff is friendly and keeps you informed throughout your entire vehicle repair. And didn't change me for something I didn't need. I was very impressed and will continue to go there. Also the A to Z Landscaping business did an amazing job on our property.

Well, after 15 years of driving, I finally experienced my first flat tire. I called A to Z Towing and they were extremely helpful. They wasted no time getting a tow truck to me and had the tire switched out and me back on the road in no time. The driver was extremely curteous and helpful. The owner was very helpful and polite, they helped me off the side of the highway even went out of his way to get my camper off the higway as well. In the end he even opened up his lot for me and ran a power cord out of his shop so i could stay in my camper outside. I would recommend this place to my most valued loved ones and closest friends
Not only was this guy fast and friendly.. his towing knowledge was awesome.. ball joint broke on the car and he was so gentle with my hunk of junk car.. so I can imagine how he would treat a nice car. And his tow truck inside was room enough for both of us.. totally recommend this towing service to all!!
I cannot say enough good things about A To Z. We were about 6 hours into a 20 hour road trip when we our minivan ran into problems. It was 5:30am when this happened, the van was full. I tried one other company with no luck. Kendall at A To Z answered right away, gave me a quote, and showed up in no time. After taking a look at our vehicle, he diagnosed the problem and reassured us that it was an easy fix (if we could get our hands on the right part). Once we were all loaded into the truck, he went the extra mile for us by not only locating the parts we needed, but by keeping us with him while he did it. He repeated time and again that he would not leave us anywhere until he was sure we would be taken care of. As luck would have it, we ended up locating the part we needed near his shop so he took us there, got started on the van right away, and had us back on the road in no time. Without A To Z, our family vacation would have been ruined. I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I am, A To Z would be my first call.
Towing service was excellent. They came out to tow me at 6am on a sat morning and in a rural area when other companies would not. He took me right to the dealership for repair, warm cab (it was winter) and friendly conversation as well.
My vehicle broke down near Galesburg 1/2 way through a long trip. I was towed to A to Z and was very grateful they looked at it right away. They made sure my son and I were comfortable while we waited. After discovering the problem, they presented me with a quote and options. They were very patient and not pushy at all as I tried to figure out what I should do. Because the problem was major, I needed to rent a vehicle and one of the employees even gave us a ride there so we didn't have to wait for a shuttle.
They tow me in and fixed me to where I could get back on the road. The gals where awesome she showed us they train area that was near by. I would so use them again if I ever in the area. They was great who towed us and everyone at the shop was great.
I can not express the gratitude I have for the employees at A to Z Auto Repair in Galesburg IL from today! I drove 4 1/2 hours today to get to my sons baseball game and literally right when I turned to go into the hotel entrance it felt like my brakes went out. They didn't but needed new brake pads. They were at the hotel in no time to tow it in!!! Not only that, they went out of their way to take me and my other son to the ball field AND delivered my vehicle to the ball field. This was huge for me!!! I CAN'T SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH TO THIS CREW!!!! YOU ARE ALL AWESOME :)
In a word: phenomenal. A to Z is the quintessential example of what a business should strive to become. Take note, flailing businesses out there. A to Z owns the phrases: affordable services, friendly staff, great amenities while waiting for the repair, and honest work.
Of course, Murphy's law dictates that the car should begin experiencing trouble right before the end of the day, the Friday before Christmas. We required a tow and a fix as we were traveling to Missouri. The first couple of places we called said they wouldn't fix the car until Monday -- no good. Finally, we call A to Z and they tell us they can tow the car and have it fixed by that night. When they come to pick up the car, we are left stranded at the Hy-Vee gas station 2.5 miles away. And, if it couldn't be more obnoxious, we have our dog with us. The gentlemen who came to tow the car called the shop to see if someone could come pick us up. 15 minutes later, an A to Z employee had a van to rescue us from the dropping temperatures and biting cold.
When we get to the auto shop, they let us know what they are going to do, about how long it will take, and the approximate charges we could expect. While waiting, we were in the heated waiting room with coffee and a TV. When the repairs took longer than expected, the owner came in and let us know what the holdup was. He was very personable and helped alleviate some fears of what could be happening.
When everything was all said and done, the repairs came out to be less than we were expecting. Keep in mind, we HAD to get on the road that night and that was our only means of travelling. In other words, A to Z could have charged us any price they desired and we would have had no choice but to pay.
The staff at A to Z worked hard to get us back on the road, even when it meant changing their time schedule on the Friday before Christmas. We are truly thankful for their hospitality and quality work and can't recommend it enough. If we didn't live so far away, it would be worth the trip to have A to Z be our main mechanic.
We broke down on the highway and limped, the car, into A to Z Auto's repair shop. They looked at, make the correct diagnosis and admitted that we would have to take our Subaru to a dealer for the repairs. They also let us relax in their waiting room while waiting for a tow truck to get the car home (120 miles away). The place was clean and the service staff great.
Idiots!!! Had truck towed there for drive shaft. They tell me bolts in yoke are broke and it will take 4 hours at $70 an hour to fix! So we go pay the bill and ask them to tow it somewhere else...they say they are on the way so we go there and wait. About an hour and a half later we get a call from them saying they can't tow it because we didn't pay the whole bill. They forgot to charge me for something they did...not my fault but I have to drive back and pay a second time! RIDICULOUS!!! By the way it only took 15 minutes to get done what they said would take 4 hours!
