EDIT - I have paperwork of the vehicle I purchased from them, and I know they have copies as well. I don’t trust them from what I’ve read online. Stay away from this dealership if you value your money and your life. they will sell you a car with 12 year old tires on it and needing various repairs without making that clear at the point of sale. Disappointed in my purchase because I had to pay a lot of money out of pocket on repairs on top of buying the vehicle and keep finding things wrong with the car that were not brought to my attention whatsoever.

I purchased a 2024 ram 2500 for what I found to be a very good price comparatively in the market. Which also included a 7 year factory warranty that I did not know about which was an added bonus. The vehicle had a minor body issues in which they agreed to fix during the purchase agreement. While I feel the chosen body shop they outsourced the work to left a lot to be desired. Alex stood by his word and made sure the truck was fixed and did what was necessary to fix any errors found in the purchase process.

I was looking at Camaros and this one came across this one for relatively cheap. Man it's a solid car. As a mechanic im stoked. The staff even expressed concern when I didn't care to really look it over. I was thinking I would be in for alot of work but not really. They changed the oil cleaned it up a bit. I really didn't give them the time they really needed because life and time constraints. They were quick and efficient. Very friendly. Really helped me out in making the whole experience go boom boom boom dun. I am one happy gear head.

Just bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee L from them. We worked with Aidan Wand and he was amazing! He was open and honest with us the whole time and went out of his way to make the purchase an easy and wonderful experience. He is very friendly and personable. He was not pushy at all and that was great! I would highly recommend going to him for your next car purchase you will not be disappointed!

Recently on a trip to Galena, the indicator light for low tire air pressure came on. Even though it was Saturday and close to closing, Randy was kind enough to check the tires and get the air pressure up to normal. It made for a worry free drive back to Des Moines. Thanks Randy, for going the extra mile!

I purchased a vehicle here. Post purchase inspection at another dealer showed several mechanical problems including safety issues of the vehicle in which it was recommended I not drive the vehicle until repaired properly. Galena Chrysler refused to fix any of the issues present on that inspection.

We were traveling to Galena. Our plan was to get lunch and spend a few hours downtown. That plan was changed when we encountered car problems and pulled off deeming car was undriveable. We called themat 12p and they helped secure a tow truck for us. They could not promise a fix but said they would attempt to look/diagnosis for us. We arrived, extremely friendly. We went next door for lunch and they called with diagnosis (water pump) and said they will get in the garage. Once again, they made no promises it could be done. We took an Uber into town and received a call it was done. Went and picked up the car and was able to head home. Thanks.

Stay away from these guys. They will sell you a car with a warranty and then continue to lie when the POS breaks down that they sell you. They won’t back you up or ur warranty when the time comes. Seriously don't buy a car ever from galena Chrysler they suck.

Bought a used vehicle from them yes it was as is but it should not have been sold should have went to the junk yard, the frame is completely rusted through and the engine cradle is rusted off, completely unsafe to drive and should never had been sold!

Service department wasn't officially open but they fixed my flat tire for me, on a holiday weekend no less. Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful show room and clean bathrooms.

Great customer service even after the purchase. There was a hiccup with the extended warranty, they went above and beyond to make it right. Very happy with my decision to buy a Jeep from them. Highly recommend even if you're from another State (like me I'm in KS) they had it shipped right to my front door ?

I spent a long time looking for a good used truck! I found one at Galena Chrysler and purchased it with help from Asa and Alex! They communicated well, answered all my questions before I even set foot on the lot, and stuck around after hours to get the deal done. They treated me fair on my trade and helped me find the best terms to fit my needs!

Have got a few vehicles from here before, and up to the last 2, can’t complain much.but with the last 2, definitely won’t be going back. The jeep, we had a month. Head was shot. The Cadillac, junk. At this point I would rather drive a few hours than to go back here. Stuck paying for junk, unless I can get it traded.

Went to look at a used truck at this dealership. Truck already had a lemon title for exhaust issues but looked mostly clean otherwise from the pictures. After driving almost 2 hrs to see it THEN we discovered they had purposely taken their pictures online at angles that did not show extensive damage to truck bed and tail gate. When we expected some kind of financial compensation before considering buying the truck. All the would offer was 400 dollars off and tried to tell us we were still getting a deal because KBB was 10 grand over their asking price. To which I clarified the KBB price they were quoting was for a good condition vehicle. This was at best fair and what the were asking was the high end of that. They still would not budge on price so we left. We clearly made a good choice as we found a newer truck for less money elsewhere. I would follow the warning of other reviews. Do not buy from here.

Dec 27th, we went to look at a car for our middle daughter. She was buying her first car. We talked to Doug (salesperson). The car was a Dodge certified used. It was supposedly inspected by their shop to meet certification standards. The car was warmed up and ready to go. Long story short, we bought the car. Started it to move it the next day and it had a noticeable shake. I took it to another Dodge dealer for a second opinion. At this point, we had put on less than 60 miles. They stated the car needed motor mounts and that it had been in a significant crash (front crossmember had been obviously replaced. Mind you, the car had a clean Carfax with no accidents noted. But, Galena Chrysler had bought the car in October, sold it in December and put 400 miles on it. They admitted they had used it to drive into southern Illinois and Iowa. When I spoke to the sales manager Alex, he was angry and denied they did anything wrong. I stated either his mechanics missed a replaced subframe or one of his drivers crashed the car and they fixed it. He stated they did nothing wrong and that the engine mounts needing to be replaced was the other dealerships opinion. He asked us to bring the car back to Galena which we did. They replaced the motor mounts free of charge. Before this, the warranty paperwork to activate the warranty on the car never was submitted until we asked about it, nearly a week later. The title sat at the dealership for 3 weeks exactly even after being told it was mailed to us. How can you sell a wrecked car without disclosing it? How can you explain a clean car fax, then your dealership puts 400 miles on the car, and the front subframe had been replaced somewhere between buying it and selling it? How can you explain holding a car's title that you sold for 3 weeks? How can you explain not apologizing for saying it was another dealerships opinion when you end up replacing the part they say was broken? This is not a good place! Lots of lies, lack of taking responsibility (initially sort of), lack of good customer service, lack of a management team having any good customer service, lack of transparency, lack of car inspections missing things like bad motor mounts, etc. Maybe buying a new car is a great experience here, but buying a used (supposedly inspected) used car with issues, angry (at the customer) sales manager, wrecked but undisclosed car information, and the list goes on. Avoid this place at all costs! They don't seem on the up and up (shady) for used cars as they could not answer our questions. Good luck if you go here.

Went with niece to look at jeep they had. When we first got there we were not greeted and had to stand there and wait for someone to show up and he proceeded to walk right by and I had to ask him for a sales person. Then we were introduced to Doug. He seemed very nice and willing to help us. We explained we were there to look at certain jeep. We waited a few minutes because he had to put some gas into it before we took it for test drive. We took for test drive and my niece liked it and decided she wanted it. Only thing was we did notice some oil underneath. Not sure if it was leaking oil or what. So Doug said he would have mechanic look at it next day. We had told Doug that she was probably going to buy it and we would be back the next day. Next day Doug had recached out and said that oil was just from a sloppy oil change (that they had did) We then went back over to agree on purchase price etc. They really did not come down on price only offered a warranty which later on I seen it was already included. So they made it seem like we were getting a great deal. I asked for service records for said jeep and it had basically half of a new engine put in and also a new windshield and several other things that was done to it. If we had know sooner all that work that was done to it we would have not bought it. My niece paid with Jeep in cash over $16,000 to be exact and still had to pay $300 document fee for 2 minutes of paperwork printed. We were not given title the same day because they said the manager had to make a deposit in the bank and then they could release the title. Probably to verify that we did not give them counterfeit money. Doug was going to deliver the title has he lives in the same town. When the day they told us that we could get the title came I had called to ask what was the hold up. They said that the manager had put the title in the mail. There was no communication between the manager and Doug apparently. We had to wait a few days before we got the title finally to transfer it. A week after she had bought it one of the headlights had stopped working so I called the service department and they said that was not covered but he transferred me to our salesman Doug. Doug had said let me check and get back with you. He had said unfortunately it is not covered but here’s what I can do is go get a bulb and drop it off for you. We agreed that would be fine and my husband could install it for our niece. So he was going to bring over that same night after work. Never heard anything for him. So 3 days later I reached back out via text message to Doug and asked him if he had gotten the bulb yet. He said no sorry that he had not. He would bring again that night, still again had not heard anything. He did not respond to my message. I said that he should not promise twice to bring it then not respond. I feel like once you purchase from him he just don’t care anymore after he got the sale. I wish we would have not purchased her vehicle from here and went elsewhere. My niece also said she is not happy about everything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! Also Doug don’t worry about the bulb. We already took care of it for her since you offer empty promises!! Shop elsewhere people!

Doug Forbes is the best! I’ve had bad experiences with aggressive salesmen that with try to just get you to buy and he never did that! He trusted me to take a test drive without him,which I’ve never done and the whole process was done in a couple of hours and I have a nice clean truck again ! So I highly recommend Doug and galena Chrysler ! I will be drive 2 hours to come back again ! Mopar for life !

Our 2019 Chrysler Pacifica had been having issues with the engine. After remembering our vehicle was under warranty, we brought it into the service department in galena. Logan took care of us from day one. He was great at communicating updates with us as well as making sure we had a loaner vehicle to use for the entire time. Our van was getting fixed. We were able to get brand new engine and ended up being a radiator. We appreciate the attention to detail, communication, and service their team provided.

I understand the policy of selling a used car “as is,” but needing service a week after purchase makes me feel that Galena Chrysler didn’t do the due diligence they promise with checking vehicles before selling them. As they say, “buyer beware.” Update: After leaving this review I received a phone call from a frustrated sales manager who didn’t understand how I could be unhappy with the experience of needing immediate service on an “as is” car. Highly recommend if you’ve looking for an unyielding dealership, but would suggest looking elsewhere if you’d prefer to have a car you purchase properly checked.

Galena Chrysler has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Took my vehicle in to get some work done and they exceeded their limits. The service department is super friendly, got my car and myself taken care of in a timely manner. Highly recommend taking your vehicle to them!

Purchased a 2017 jeep wrangler in mid January... So far I have had to replace all the lights. A new battery. All wipers. All tires. And now brakes and disks. Have yet to diagnose the antifreeze smell. Transmission has frequent issues. So I would assume this company does not do any used vehicle inspections on the vehicles they are selling. This has been a nightmare!! I do not recommend dealing with these people in any way between purchasing or financing.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They sold me an unsafe car at 17 years old! My car was leaking brake fluid and told me there is nothing they can do. Should not of sold the car in that bad of shape. DO NOT buy from this place, overcharged and not worth it. Please be aware of this place!

He is very attentive and courteous to questions and problems that may be concerning you. He goes above and beyond the call of duty.
