Great service by people with a conscience I have been a loyal customer ever since Mr. Salam tested my first car before I bought it back in 2016, and he didn't charge me for it

I come here all the time and they get me in and out. Never have to repeat work.

This shop "inspected" a car I purchased from Global Auto Sales. I owned the car less than 24 hours and am now looking at $2300 in repairs. The suspension beam was banging under the car and the drive shaft is leaking. How were these things missed? I contacted the sales office who had me reach out to Shell. John basically told me he didnt know what I want him to do. Umm you looked at this car and said it was in good condition to sell and it turns out it has has major damage. Even the dealer said it was Shell who dropped the ball. Moral of the story, don't trust this shop with any work- if they miss broken pieces hanging from a car, who knows what else they miss?

0 communication. They Scheduled other service calls over an emergency call with my insurance. Spoke with 2 different people in the company and got brushed off. On the line with insurance roadside and the driver hung up on us. May provide photos and texts from insurance once available. Unprofessional.

Albert came out and saved me when my tire blew out yesterday. My State Farm App gave me a time frame of 45-75min for roadside to arrive, once he was dispatched I waited less than 20min. He was kind and comforting, changed my tire so fast, and helped me get my spare inflated (after 6 years in the trunk it was a little flat), he made sure I had everything I need for my tire to be replaced today. I think he could tell I was a bit shaken by everything that happened so he made sure I was okay. If you need a tow or roadside help ask for Albert.

The most respectable honest and reliable mechanic in the entire Chicago area. Prices are regularly lower than every other competitor service is quick efficient and very reasonable, simply the best mechanic that you can go to in the area.

Check engine light was flashing. Took it in, it was a spark plug and coil. They had it done immediately while I waited. A week later, same issue. Was out of town, so took it to another mechanic. Turned out to be a defective coil. When I went back to Shell, they issued a complete refund immediately, no questions asked. Didn’t even ask to see the receipt for the work. Honest, friendly, fast service. I’d come back here again.

Set up a tow through State Farm and was connected with Westmont Shell. The driver (Cliston) arrived early, was super professional, and their service was above and beyond. Nice work Cliston! Thanks for making this painless. Highly recommend this company. 👍

We had a medical emergency and car was left on I88 late on a Friday. Cliston, the driver, not only got to car in a timely fashion. He carefully got it home and even placed on driveway as our town doesn’t allow cars on street at night. He locked car & hid keys. He called while we were at hospital to say he had car on truck & called back to say it was safely home, locked & where I could find keys. Have used their tow service through AAA and they are always great

Tarek came to my rescue and went above and beyond the line of duty! Best experience I’ve ever had with a tow truck service. He was extremely kind and compassionate and took extremely good care of my car, can’t thank him enough! Highly recommend!

They were contacted by my insurance roadside assistance. Promptly sent a tow and got my car to the shop near my house (not a Shell shop) and unloaded the car, handed me the keys and were off to save the day for someone else. I'd definitely use again if needed; although I hope it's not needed it's a bit of peace of mind knowing who you can rely on.

Mohammed our tow truck driver went above and beyond to help us get our stripped lugnuts off and get the donut on for us saving us a tow truck ride. Super sweet guy and he was quick and kind. Had everything done in less than 5 minutes and saved us money from the repair shop. Tire is repairable and no out of pocket cost! Couldn't ask for a more genuine helpful guy!!

I usually do not write reviews, but this place is well deserving and should be credited.One of the best experiences I have ever had with a mechanic. Sam was very compassionate and understanding. They fixed my vehicle at a reasonable price compared to other mechanics, and I felt complete100% comfortable with there service.. THEY HAVE EARNED A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE.

I recommend this place to all my family and friends. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I've been bringing my vehicles here for many years. I actually moved away from the area, but continue to make the drive and use their services. The owner Sam, is always very welcoming and respectful to me and to his other customers. I have never once felt like I wasn't taken seriously, or overcharged because I am a female...and that has not been true of some auto shops before. They are accommodating with appointments and will work things out if there is something urgent to address.

Broke down day after Christmas, a Sunday. They were very quick to respond. Called frequently to update us on time frame. Came when they said. Driver was a very nice young man. Towed the car quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

I was stranded far from home and I called AAA. My key would not turn in the ignition . The tow truck from Westmont Shell came and the driver tried to get it to work. He couldn't so he brought me and my car to the station. It turns out my car needed to have the ignition switch replaced. They got to it as soon as they could and within a couple hours I was on my way. Even though it was an expensive fix they were super accommodating, very friendly and made a bad situation not feel so bad. I appreciate their wonderful service and their kindness.

I had a phenomenal experience with Westmont Shell Auto and Towing. I had a flat tire and was unable to put on my spare tire on my own. Cliston (goes by Chris I believe) was dispatched through AAA and responded very quickly. Rather than tow it unnecessarily, he changed my spare efficiently and was very friendly and professional throughout even though I was outside his usual service area. Thanks for the saving me a lot of money and hassle!

My tire blew on 294 north, I was able to get off on a ramp in a safe area. My insurance company contacted westmont to tow me to a tire place and they contacted me, but refused to come to my location because they claimed to not know where it was. I gave a mile marker number, exit information etc. They are not worth doing business with. Chariot automotive and towing, on the other hand responded to my location with no problem at all. I would highly recommend chariot.

I had to get a tow today and I received service from shell. I was extremely thankful for the service I got from them. I would recommend them for tows t other people. but mostly I want to thank the driver chris. I have a lowered car and he was amazing. if you ever need a tow I recommend chris. amazing man and knows what he is doing.

We had a flat tire and called them for service. They came out quickly and attempted the repair. The donut spare was also flat. No problem at all was towed to the station tire fixed and on my way in less than 90 minutes from my initial call. Thanks to the tow truck driver for making a bad situation much more manageable.

My car broke down on the interstate three hours from my home. Everyone here was so nice and extremely helpful. My fuel pump broke and they told me that it would be about three to four hours. It only took two hours from the time the found the problem with my car till it was all finished. They even topped off all of my fluids before I left. They also had a homemade meal of upside down that they let me have some of while I waited. I had an amazing experience here and would highly recommend to others!
