Pay your bills or your car will end up here. Period. These guys are doing their job and doing a great one at that. I had the misfortune of having my car repossessed and left some important belongings inside. I called and talked to a sweet lady who was super helpful and kind and willing to work with me to get my stuff back. Fast forward to me arriving to get my stuff and not knowing where to even go as i vouldnt find a building. Just gates. I called the number on the gate and ended up being greeted by Luke who went above and beyond to help me. Thank you for being understanding and having a heart. You rock and if i ever end up in a jam again, i hope i end up dealing with guys as nice as these. Thank you for making this terrible experience a little easier.
If I could give zero stars I would. My friend had his medicine and snacks for work stolen out his car by tow place. They claim they threw it away but they only took the medicine that is considered narcotics and left the vitamins and the opened snacks so that didn’t make sense and why would you throw away prescribed medicine with someone’s name on it and why wouldn’t you throw it ALL away if that’s the case, especially the opened stuff??? Also, the bag they put some of his things in was ripped open after being tied and sealed! He did a complaint and his car dealership also did a complaint too. While he was insidea the tow truck drivers were talking and laughing as if it was funny. So upsetting when he needs the medicine for medical needs so he won’t be back in the hospital and it’s almost impossible to get those prescribed again before refill time. Now he’s in pain and nobody at the tow company even tried to help until he got his car dealership involved. SMH. I see why the rating is so low. The owner’s possessions should not be able to be TOUCHED unless they’re cleaning it out for auction to avoid these things. They should be allowed to get their own items.
Those jerks towed my car because it didn’t have license plates. When I tried to explain that the plates are issued by the Secretary of State and that there's a wait of a few days just to get an appointment, they laughed in my face and said they didn’t care. One guy proudly said they make really good money off of this.
This towing company towed my guest's vehicle from the Monarch. I was forced to pay 260 to get my guest's vehicle out of the lot in Rolling Meadows. The vehicle was not to be towed and towing company reasoning for towing the vehicle is because it does not have a sticker. The Monarch doesn't give out stickers to guests, only residents receive blue or red stickers. I asked the towing company what does the guests stickers or placard look like. They did not provide an answer. Then I asked where are guests suppose to park, they did not provide an answer. They claim even if the towing company is at fault, I still have to pay to get the vehicle out of the lot. This company should have there towing license/authority taken away.
No stars. One of the employees in the back said after I tried getting the REST of my property, “ok but who’s the one with the repossessed car? “ blatant disregard for customer. After asking them “how many people’s stuff from the cars do you guys steal?” They said “we don’t steal” but with no full acknowledgement that are actively stealing if they don’t return the seat covers. “KNOCK KNOCK HELLOOOO?” They need better training the manager stood by and just let it all happen. Just ridiculous behavior from these people. Me? Rightfully angry. I told her that the behavior the employees is a reflection of herself and they are terribly trained. They had the audacity to not return my car seats that are part of my personal property and floor mats. I had to call the police so they could get my car seats from the car stating the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever had to do over such a petty situation. Terrible service. IF YOU DONT RECEIVE ALL YOUR STUFF CALL THE POLICE. Don’t play the games with these people. They treat you like 5th class citizen. Learn the law folks! Illinois law states you have an entitlement to your personal property even after repossession. Employee stated policy is they don’t give you your mats and car covers if you don’t request them. WHICH IS NOT WHAT THE LAW SAYS! if you can stay away from this place.
Terrible people! I drive a truck for a living, been doing it for over 12years now. Never experienced such hateful behavior from a business in my life! I had permission from Walmart to park there for a 10hr break but apparently the lot I was in was a Sam’s club lot however there is NO Sam’s club there! Was an empty lot to which I have parked there many times over the years! I happened to be away from my truck when they decided to take it! They jacked up my 18wheeler claiming they have pictures my bumper was broken before they towed it, which of course it was NOT but refused to show me said pictures. The company I lease through also asked to see said pictures again they refused to provide! If the bumper was broken before they towed it like they claim it was, then why refuse to show proof? Not that hard if they have nothing to hide but of course they are in fact Liars! which is why they wouldn’t provide their pictures! They had their muddy boots walking all around the inside of my truck and broke my curtains off the track. Again refusing to take any ownership of their negligence, I ended up paying $1400 in cash because they don’t accept cards or any other payment methods. Betting the IRS would have a field day looking into all their cash transactions, I’m sure they’re so honest about it said no one.
If you must get a tow avoid calling these people! Guessing they only deal with parking lots and repossession due to the fact their business skills are well below any good reputable towing company! Acting as if they are gods gift to towing and human existence! I’m sure they’ll always make money being sleaze balls stealing peoples car and trucks from parking lots and repossessions, any reputable company would not treat others with so much disrespect and lies, a reputable company would take responsibility for screwing up an easy tow but not these low life’s!
I get why the front office is locked down like a prison and the check out window is bulletproof one way glass! Treating people like garbage and jacking up the property of hard working people, not taking responsibility for anything…you’d have to have that kind of security!

I register my rental car with the guest parking, but I make a mistake and I put one wrong number from the license plate. They have my name, address and phone number. They seemed everything on my account and just waited for the easy money. 1:05 am just towing the car. 2:00am I was there, the girl was very rude. Then I go back in 7:00am, and they said,, nothing I can do for you “. Nobody answered the phone. Poor customer service and very rude people. 0 stars.
Legal thieves operating in Illinois suburbs. They accept only cash or personal debit card. They hiding their faces even at that basement they use to call office. So u can’t see thieves face. So overall if u don’t have money on your debit card or cash they wont give you your car back. 1 star is too much for them. -100 is fair
Very Disappointed with This Towing Company
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this towing company. I parked my semi-truck for just a couple of minutes while I ran home to grab some home-cooked food—something healthier than the usual junk food, since I’m often on the road for weeks at a time. I understand that the towing company only responds when contacted by the property management, but it’s disappointing that they don’t take the time to understand the challenges truck drivers face.
To make matters worse, the company placed a boot on my truck's wheel, charging me a shocking $1,400 to remove it. And to top it off, they insisted on only accepting cash for payment, which feels highly suspicious. Given their practices, I wouldn't be surprised if the IRS took a closer look at them soon.
This experience was incredibly stressful and left me with a bad taste about this company. I highly recommend avoiding them—especially if you're a truck driver, as they clearly don’t understand the struggles we face.
Absolutely useless, they can take your property and then steal your money while having the audacity to keep you the car owner on a list saying you’ve to wait to pick up your own vehicle !!!
What kind of trash service is that, if you can’t uphold your company duties to the community you’re unfortunately servicing then you need to close your doors and shut down.
It is utterly unacceptable for you all to be out here taking peoples hard earn ed money and then having the nerves to tell them after they’ve paid a ton of one by that because your company is too understaffed and unequipped yo do their job in a timely manner should not have to affect the car owner(s) struggling to get their personal vehicle and property back.
Don’t go touching peoples things and taking their money when you as a company are not able to responsibly handle the work and commitment to service that is takes to run a recovery yard.
I would highly urge anyone who can to avoid them at all possible costs as they are not a responsible and effective business.
I had a concerning experience with Northwest Recovery. After parking my vehicle briefly, they placed a boot on it and charged me $1,400 for removal. When I tried to pay, I offered several payment methods, including Zelle, a company check, and a cashier’s check. However, they refused to accept anything except cash.
In today’s world, it's highly suspicious that a business would insist on cash payments, especially for such a large amount. People don’t typically carry $2,000 in cash on them, but they can easily pay with their phones or a check. It doesn’t make sense why they would only accept cash, and it raises serious questions about their business practices.
This kind of behaviour seems very unprofessional and suggests they may be attempting to avoid proper documentation of transactions. I would advise caution when dealing with this company.
Should be zero. My car washed illegally towed from our property. Had the parking pass and everything. They steal your car to then steal your money. Will be filing reports with the police department for stealing my car as well as better business bureau and the states attorney. This place is scum.

My daughter was a visitor with a parking permit at an apartment complex. They towed my car from her.
When I called they told me anyone with a driver's license could come claim my car if they paid the fine. I told the attendant no, I will be coming to get my car. I live 5hrs away but I'd be there. She said that's if someone else doesn't claim it first. I told her that car is mine. Asked if I needed to file a police report for a stolen vehicle before I arrived. She said no ma'am. What's your name and address? I won't release the car to anyone but you.
We got there around 10pm. This place scetchy as hell. Women should not go alone.
A terrible company that robs and deceives people, operates dishonestly and shamelessly. Stay away from these people. Your car will be at risk if you deal with them. They also steal vehicles.
This place is a joke. They said it’s state law that they ain’t allowed for me to get my personal property and the sent two hoodlums boys to grab all my things and throw them in bags and threw my car seats in the mud. I was missing quite a few things out of my car so I called up there and the girl i spoke to told me she was going to hung up on me if I argue with her. First off I’m not arguing with you, I’m telling you that your thief co worker stole things out of my car.
People go through money issues of course the car will be repossessed. One thing you can do is return the car back with dignity and respect. Car was returned damaged, also was purposely drove through the giant crater filled with mud and water. It was a little boy driving the car. So that was expected. He might have been 15. I'm also reported this to the county and state from shady business practices.
Make sure to check property thoroughly! Someone took my kids BB Guns I purchased for them to use when they don't have archery classes called in I'd admit was late but they still were no help. They duck tapped my fishing rods together and some of the coating peeled off or blemished.
I got home around 2am las night but ran to restroom for no even 10 minutes and by time i came back out my truck was gone, pretty much this towing company semm to be spying on people to steal your car and say the your online registration is expired but they don't care about anything.
Was out doing gig work. Parked in parking lot and watched one of their trucks go up and down two lots. They look for cars without plates or stickers to tow. Not their job or responsibility to do that.
I feel like this ONE star is to generous, every COMPANY has protocols and ways of handling things professionally. This establishment no. They have babies working late night (18/19 year old's) One to be exact NAMED HAMMACK, was so childish, rude. IF I WORKED AT FAST FOOD CAN I START BEING RUDE SPITTING IN PEOPLE ORDER? OR INSURANCE AGENT AND START CANCELING POLICIES WITHOUT THEM KNOWING BECAUSE THEY WERE RUDE OVER PHONE? I was literally standing by the car and Their employed child still quickly connected the car in 15 sec while she was hanging out the car. I believe in WRONG IS WRONG and RIGHT IS RIGHT. I take complete ownership. It wasn't even my car and i felt that was handled poorly. As a mom of boys parents do better our children are reflection of us. Then wants to say as he drives away with this persons car LIFE IS UNFAIR. NOOO, life is unfair that your mama never introduce you to a BELT. ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY!!! I took that girl 20 minutes later to get her car out after being towed and paid for it!!! She was originally there helping her friend that lived alone with a 5 year old with a BAT IN HER APARTMENT AND TRYING TO REMOVE IT. This child working for this establishment was aware of situation and police was called to try to help as well with the bat in house. Can't say "your mad that your car got towed"...NO IT WASNT EVEN MY CAR. I AM SPEAKING FOR THIS GIRL THAT DID GET HER CAR TOWED DISRESPECTLY. DO BETTER. GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY!!!
they tow our van and damage the front bumper. as you can see, the plastic part is pulled. when they pull the van, they pull the front bumper and break the piece at the bottom. the staff is horrible I got there and started to read the hours of operation and I see a guy walking up to me, I waited to see what he wanted and he just curse at me for "been park and blocking the entrance" I wasn't park and I was waiting for him to talk to me. they think because they took my van, they owed me. I will file a formal complaint, but if your car gets towed here before you leave, take pictures of your car they are people who have no respect for other
If I could give zero stars or negative Stars I would. My car has been towed twice from where I live by these damn people, The first time because my registration sticker was 3 days expired and the second time was because there was apparently no parking sticker 'visible' even though the parking sticker was clearly in the windshield in plain sight. when I Called to see if they had picked up my car The guy on the phone was extremely rude. if I was in the wrong then that's my fault but my problem is that when they towed my car they dragged it backwards at least 20 feet while in park because the front wheels were locked, since it's a front wheel drive car. Of course they were quick to say they're not liable for any damages & considering this was done not once but twice I'm just really hoping there isn't any serious damage to my car & the fact that the second time they towed it was for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Not to mention they towed my neighbors car twice as well, her old car & a new car she just got. Both times they took it when there was no reasonable explanation why, the first time they brought it back to her, the second time she had to go pick it up.
Ghetto and unprofessional establishment. They make it almost impossible to retrieve your items which is illegal, they can not keep your personal items in the vehicle. Then on top of that when you schedule an appointment they dont send you the details till you call them 5+ times.
Be prepared for them to break your car and say that it was before they did it. The scammers of the first race are too generous for you. You need to be removed completely.
They took the car from my parking space because there was no sticker. This is not a problem, I paid for it. But they damaged the front bumper, tire and rim on the new car. What to do in this case ???
My wife work as a nurse assistant and come home by midnight. That time she don’t get a parking close to the building. She had problem with her eyesight, and was relieved from the job for a year because of an infection to the eye. Now she uses high power glass. She said the lights were not enough to see well, and the pictures the towing company has taken proves that the yellow parking line has faded, and in the particular parking space, 70% of the line has completely disappeared. Without the line, cannot expect to be parking properly. When my wife called the Northwest Towing the lady employee who answered was very rude to her, and also she threatened to call police on my wife.
The Towing company is expected to tow the cars which doesn’t belong to the residents, which has parked unauthorized in the parking lot. The residents of the condominium pays to maintain the parking lot, and we are entitled for three parking spaces. If my wife did a mistake because of her disability,
I wont expect the towing company driver to make the decision to make $200 because the car was over the imaginery yellow line which never existed. I am unhappy that within 30 days of staying in our new place, we had to go through this difficult experience, most of the Saturday was gone after the towed car. The truck driver doesn't have the police authority to decide on the parking rules. He has given permission to tow the cars which has trespassed the property and parked with out proper permission. If the business is slow, don't try to make money doing things which are not in your authorized to do, it is stealing and breaking law. I am surprised why they are not given citation by the police authorities or by the city.
Witnessed a tow truck driver on 57 and South Chicago recklessly driving while tailgating others on the road. Granted no cars on the truck, but seriously?? Shows the kind of employees they allow into business.
There are racist and they just want to steal all your money. They don’t use card. They only take cash because they know they’re not doing the right things. Stay away from those people.
