I had joe at Midwest Cadillac repair the head gaskets on my 1998 Cadillac seville sls.This man knows his northstar engines.I drove mine back to north alabama(648 miles)and not one issue.Engine bay looks like the engine has never been removed.Joe does quality work ,fair prices,and i wouldn't hesitate to call on him again for Cadillac repair
I brought Joe @ Midwest cadillac repair my 06 DTS Saturday evening, had no idea what was wrong with it. Joe found out it was an alternator. He had the car done Monday morning. These cars are hard to do alternators in, and Joe is a pro at it.
He’s serviced two of my grandfathers northstar engines, by doing the headgasket and inserts. They never gave any issues since then. One of them made it to 250,000 miles! Until the car rusted out! The engine lives on in another car.

Joe does excellent work on any Northstar powered Cadillac. I’ve brought two to him recently, cost was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend anyone who a 90’s / 00’s Cadillac to stop by for major or minor maintenance.
Put in wrong parts in it for a week he had the car gave the car back to me and the check engine was on it wasn't when I brought it to him. Charged me 500 dollars. This guy sucks really bad
Recently bought a '98 Eldorado with low miles. To avoid any major mishaps, I decided to get ahead of any problems that may be coming. This shop deserves a higher rating than it has (fully aware they have a good rating). I drove over 200 miles and across two states and would do it again and again to have these specialized mechanics work on my car. Fully appreciated they drop the front end to work on these, was worried a hack wouldn't do this step. They go above and beyond, simply because they're good people. Thanks again for the clean bill of health.
Joe fixed our 02 Seville in 2013 with head gasket issues. It cost way less than we quoted in N Minnesota where we live. The caddy had 130,000 miles on it then. It now has 300,000 + miles and it still runs great. My husband drives it 1200 miles round trip every 10 days to Minot to work construction. It gets great mileage!
Joe is the best. Had Cadillac done a few years ago. All is still well. Have another Cadillac to possibly sell him. 2001. Drives great. Waiting for a price.

Joe did my 01 deville back in 2016 and I just wanted to update. My caddy is still running strong. I had the inserts put in for the head bolt issue. Anyone looking to get the job done for a reasonable price I'd highly recommend Midwest. I'd defenitly use them again if I had to even though it's 300 miles away. Defenitly worth it.
Midwest Cadillac repair is done an outstanding job on replacing struts on the front and the rear of my Lexus very very affordable and most of all honest as can be.

Joe and his team do great work and his prices are fair. Joe rebuilt the North Star engine in my 2005 Bonneville and it has run flawlessly for 2 years and counting. I highly recommend Midwest Cadillac.

I live in Palatine and I have been going to this repair shop for over two decades. There is a high value in finding honest mechanics that have your best interest at heart and also offer great prices for repairs. I suggest you talk to Joe first before you make any decisions on any major engine or mechanical work.
Typically and Mos always there is no charge for diagnostics and/or to look at your car to give you An estimate as to what it might cost to have a repair done. Lots of other shops can do repairs and give you prices had a time
but there are very few that can give you an accurate assessment and price ahead of time prior to getting the work done at no charge.
Joe Blau Mazzocchi, not sure what his real last name is but couldn't fix my BLACK CADILLAC CTS, had for some time. Replaced the engine I paid him. I tried to drive the car home and it over heated. SO I took it back to him , in the mean time I was dealing with cancer Sleep, Apnea and exhaustion. I had some real issues and this guy Wouldn't return my calls. He wouldn't answer the phone when I called him. I TRUSTED this crook! I really needed the money I use for an engine,, buy a new car or take it to an honest care shop.
He goes by several names no doubt because he is dodging People.
