I went to Autokrafters on Rand after I got rear ended pretty badly, and I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, everyone who works there was incredibly kind, caring, and professional. They immediately made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my car in their care, which is not easy to do after an accident.
They provided weekly updates, were always honest and clear with communication, and took the time to explain everything along the way. It never felt rushed or impersonal. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their work.
When I got my car back, it looked absolutely perfect, like nothing ever happened. The workmanship was flawless. I am so grateful for how well they took care of me and my car, and I would recommend Autokrafters on Rand to anyone without hesitation!!
Took my sons car to Autokrafters on Rand in Palatine because of all of the great reviews I saw for them as well as them being a family owned business. When we got our estimate, it was very close to our other estimates, but the people at Autokrafters on Rand were so professional and friendly which made it an easy choice on who should do the work. When we picked up the car it was very well done. The paint and everything else was perfect and they even cleaned the rest of the car up real nice. Of all of the body shops I have been to over my lifetime, Autokrafters on Rand has proven to be the best ever and now I have a shop I can refer others to with confidence.
Very transparent about what work is needed, what work will be done and followed through with amazing body work and paint work. They even make sure your car is pristine when you pick it up! Amazing work!

Great service! Had a car accident where the rear quarter panel had to be replaced along with many other things. They estimated us two weeks for parts and labor for the repair. They updated us every Tuesday and Thursday on the progress of the repairs and work on the auto. It was ready as promised that morning. They detailed outside and inside. It's like a brand new car. Work is guaranteed. Highly recommend this place! Rick is super friendly and explained everything.

I brought an aftermarket tour pack to AutoKrafters to have it color-matched to my motorcycle, and the process was smooth as butter. I took my wife's car to them after a fender bender and the insurance company was being tricky. AutoKrafters did AMAZING work, I HIGHLY recommend them. They replaced the bumper, trunk, tail light, and fixed the side of the car. The car which is 9 years old, looks better than NEW! My family and I are customers for life!
Dropped my car off to get the side front bumper repaired for some scratches. Whole front bumper is like new and looks great. Completed in 48 hours. Thanks again!
EXCELLENT!!!! I just picked up my Toyota Avalon from Autokrafters on Rand. This company went ABOVE & BEYOND. They had to work with a sub standard insurance company from the person who hit me. They were GRACIOUS, ACCOMMODATING and did SUPERB WORK even though I don’t believe the sub standard insurer treated them fairly. My car was fixed with great care and quality. I was AMAZED to find they cleaned the car, the interior was vacuumed, the floor mats were washed and the dash and console were all cleaned like new. They worked well with my rental company and made it as easy on me as possible. FRIENDLY STAFF/OWNER, I cannot say enough good things about this experience. It was by far THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced anywhere in a long time. THANK YOU AUTOKRAFTERS ON RAND!!!
I would like to thanks the shop for the great job they have done for me . I took estimates from 3 more shops , which where thousands more then what this shop gave me , all the others wanted to change a parts of my car that this shop didn’t .I would recommend this shop for their honesty .
If I could give zero stars I would. My mother has trusted this auto shop for over a decade, and this time when she brought her vehicle in for repairs ruined the relationship she had with the shop. My mother was gifted a bottle of wine from a friend and accidentally left it in her vehicle, unopened, when dropping it off for repair. Upon picking it up yesterday, the bottle was thrown in her trunk, opened and clearly drank out of. Beyond the theft of a personal item of hers, the team was drinking on the job while repairing her vehicle and likely others. When she called the shop to ask for a reimbursement for the bottle that was no longer able to be consumed, the staff did not seem to care and hung up the phone. This is a disgusting and shameful way to conduct business and I hope no one has to experience this after being such a loyal customer for over 12 years.
My family and i have been going to them for 20+ years. Excellent work, fast, compassionate, easy to talk to. Only place I trust to take care of my car.
Jason and everyone at Auto Krafters were phenomenal to work with. We didn't have an accident / any type of collision reparir that was needed with our car, but the trunk on our car had been misaligned since we bought it. I took our car here after being referred from friends, and Jason took a quick look at it and said it was just the hinge that had been affecting the trunk from closing properly. Auto Krafters fixed the hinge within 45 minutes and our final cost was less than we expected. Jason squeezed us in when he told us they were really busy for the next 2 months. They make their customers a priority and they take pride in their work and it shows! Thank you for making time to get our car fixed and for providing excellent care for your customers! We will be returning if we need anything for our car and we'll happily refer friends and family to Auto Krafters!

Shopped around for a minor fender/bumper repair. This was the only place that didn't overcharge me because I was not using a insurance claim. Brent and his team took real care of my situation. Since it was minor, they got me in quick and I had it back in a day. They kept me informed and were real nice. Professionalism is superb. This is the place to take your vehicle too.
Friendly service Jason had multiple suggestions. They are very busy so my car hasn't been fixed yet but I believe them to be good people based on what I have seen so far. They come highly recommended!
Used AutoKrafters recently to get some paint work done and panel replaced. They were very professional and explained what the process would look like. They were able to match the paint and even helped fix some molding at no cost. Will definitely return if I ever need paint work/body work done!
What can one say but what a great job this is the best body shop I have ever worked with. My car had 7000 damage from hail. Picked up the other day and wow like new guys up front have all been there for years and know there stuff. The painters are 1st class always a perfect match. Picked me up and dropped me off. Even clean up was perfect detailed my whole car even touched up a few spots I had from previous issues thank you auto Krafters for the A+ work and service. Bob dickens
This place is amazing! Very friendly and accommodating to my request. I called Jason explained my situation and I am so much more than satisfied. The work was done in such a timely manner and was beyond my expectations. The office associates are very nice. I couldn't have imagined a better experience.
Wow, got my car back looking newer and cleaner than the day I picked it up from the dealer. Great friendly and professional staff. Got my car back in the 3rd day of a 2 or 3 day estimated repair. Some info on the process for my relatively minor repair, #1 you take your car and they take some pictures, they can only estimate what they can see. #2 they order the parts and let you know when they have arrive and to bring in your car. #3 you drop of your car and they strip it down, order any extra parts if needed (I did so it took the extra day). #4 you get it back as good as new.
My car was a hot mess after an accident. By the way not my fault. I really wanted my car fixed. I love my car. 6 years of no trouble. These guys did an amazing job. It is perfect and they guarantee the work.
