Service was fair however the wait time was ridiculous!! We arrived there at 10am. Due to there only being 2 staff there! 1 was outside when arrive he informed us there would be 20min before we get taken of Due To!! him heading to do a run, there staff was already on a emergency with police. Now we've waited 1hr&15mins before being seen by this time it's 12noon.
they never explain to my husband what's needed to get your vehicle!!! We did call before going 2xs they told us bring your registration card, ID & driver license. Never mentioned the insurance. This cause a problem it was folks going off because "No One" told them to bring insurance .
Communication is very important & why would they not have someone to work the window Only!!! It was terrible & I pray they can improve. There was so many Vehicles There I'm thinking we're they still due the lack of availability? Or people just couldn't afford those high price?.
My husband was hit on Friday night & we call for the vehicle on Saturday morning they told us we're close on weekends & we could get our vehicle until Monday 10/13/25. Once we got there it was another story.
Very good towing service made the call and Jeremy was there to help us in maybe 15 minutes had us off the road and the car loaded up fast took us where we needed to go and got home safe thankfully.
I have stolen property(flooring) that is impounded at this location from a customer who never paid me. When I call to pick it up, they demand I pay them $1200 to pick up the pallet of flooring. I tell them the flooring is stolen and I've never done any business with them, so why are they charging me an arbitrary and outrageous fee? Illinois statue does not allow for a business to charge storage fees on stolen property without first notifying the victim, yet here they are breaking the law. I agreed orally over the phone with the "owner of the business" to pay the $500 they were out from transporting the flooring. Apparently, that was just a ruse and they're going to sell my property for their own gain? It's hard to believe a business can have so many 5 star reviews when this is how they operate. I guess I have to file a civil suit over such a small manner since they refuse to abide by the law. You'd think a business operating for 20 years plus would have morals.
Absolute Vulchers . Got my car towed for 2 hours and went to pick it up. They were only 10 min from where it was towed and charged 245. Terribly unethical and unprofessional company.

It’s clear they deal with a lot every day, but they still treated me with care and professionalism. Appreciate the support when I needed it most!
Quoted me $280 to tow my car less than a mile (0.8mi) to a Firestone. I was in Northlake, they're in Melrose Park... which is super close. They asked for my make & model before giving the quote — I can only assume they have a sliding scale based on how nice your car is and how much they think you're willing to pay. Maybe I'm wrong, but the quote was absurdly high for such a quick / short tow, so my gut tells me I'm right. Maybe I should have just told them "I'll be the dude standing next to the standard passenger vehicle with the hazards on at the address specified"
Got my car towed here last night. Luckily the cop let me take some of my belongings before it was towed away, because the other valuable things that were in my glove department were stolen out of my car, very unprofessional towing company. They go through your vehicle and steal things
Unfortunately due to the experience we had at O’Hare towing services I have to leave 1 star review. It’s important to warn anyone coming into this towing service with massive line of red flags. While I am leaving a one star review, I want to say that the all the people who Works here they not willing to help after they town your truck they just seating and gasping not doing their job. and also it’s very hard to get out of there they will make it harder for you to leave only take cash or wire Transfer on the top of that they will charge you 160 per day storage fee. and if you leave the day before the will take the next day payment which you not going to be there and they are very rude and unprofessional racist especially if they know English is your second language they will take advantage of it and scream and yell at you, if you ask them questions they will very aggressive hang up the phone on you. The worst experience ever I had with them in my life I have been dealing with people before this but this guy working in O’Hare towing service the craziest and worst people dealing with. And did they steal all belongings omg the overall if you decide the come O’Hare towing service you voluntarily wasted your money and your time you will regret later. Please please stay away from this place they are scammers.do a favor for yourself don’t go this place.
Horrific experience with this company. Stranded with 1 and 3 year old which company was aware of. Was told our car would be towed in 1 hour. Ended up waiting 3.5 hours and the tow truck never showed up. Was told repeatedly by the tow truck driver and the customer service line that the driver was on his way, but he never showed up. Terrible experience, repeatedly lied to by company representatives and driver. Would not recommend.
My car caught fire on the I-290. After the police and firefighters extinguished the fire, my car was towed and declared totaled. I visited the tow yard twice to retrieve my belongings, including a platinum ring. Despite checking thoroughly, I couldn’t find the ring. It's unlikely the ring melted, as platinum has a high melting point. It seems either someone took it from my car or it was lost during the firefighting process.
Additionally, I was quoted $1,050 for storage fees, despite being informed by state police that I wouldn't have to pay anything as my car was supposed to be scrapped. I had to hand over the title to finally release the car. My issues with this company are:
1. They never informed me about any fees when I first visited.
2. They charge exorbitant storage fees without notifying the car owners.
3. The staff I spoke to on the phone were rude and unhelpful.
This situation feels like a complete rip-off.
Worse towing company I have ever done business with I went there at night to pick up my car I was told by an employee that was mad that he was about to end his shift that I had to wait to the next employee to arrive to that he will take care of me I call there number and I was told after 1 hour the next employee would be there to take care of me and I could pick up my car he showed up late then I told him I am here to pick up my car and he told me that he cannot help me and to come back tomorrow at 8am which I was mad then I call the number the didn't care so I made an appointment at 8am and then that was also a lie the best they can do I went along with it I had no choice after I finally picked it up I had to pay extra for the day and also after hours fee then they had damaged my car goodthing I saw it before I drove off and took pictures and the driver that handed me my car told me he couldn't do anything to call the same number I've been talking to and take care of it with them and that guy burt I sent him the pictures I've left voicemails and I still haven't talk to him or haven't received anything about which driver damaged my car and how they can fix the current problem I wish I could give them 0 star's just my honest experience hopefully they can fix their mistakes and treat other customers with honesty and integrity
I called them this evening and was in shock at how much they quoted me to tow a car 5 miles. Car was in schiller park woods forest preserve and I needed it towed to franklin park. Was provided a rate of $395.00. Needless to say I didn't use there service. Very overpriced . Was able to get it towed much cheaper
O'Hare was the only company (tried 3) to take my call and dispatch a driver last weekend. Needed a tow at 1am from the West Side back to the West Burbs.
The driver, David, was great, and allowed me to hitch a ride back home.
Forever grateful.
Not sure which location he’s out of but Josh Burns came out to tow my semi/ tanker to the shop. He was great. Pleasant, calm, professional and courteous. Give him a raise. Not many out there like him today.
I’ve had the worst experiences with tow companies and this was by far the most pleasant. My motorcycle stopped while I was headed to work. Fast response, reasonable price, and real friendly driver. Would definitely recommend.
My vehicle was stolen from the city of Chicago and found in Berkeley. This company charged for so many things, even to mail out notices to let us know where our vehicle was there. They showed no empathy, I had to get irrate just to get a supervisor on the phone. Only to then have them call the Berkley police on me. They then moved my car from the more convenient yard out to one further from me becausethey "feared i would come try to steal my own vehicle". I cannot wait to sue them. And the young ladies on the phone were very rude and when asked the condition of the car, I was told "I am not a mechanic I don't know". I have never had an experience like this ever in my life. The towing business preys on victims of car theft and hit them while they are down. The next class action lawsuit will be these predatory towing companies like O'hare. They should really be ashamed of themselves.
I got a flat on I-294 Saturday early morning hrs of 1am. Order roadside assistance thru my TESLA app. Ohare Towing brought out Loaner Tire relatively quick, with in 1 hr of the call. Jerome, the tow truck driver installed the loaner front wheel and then proceeded to roll my flat wheel down to the back of his tow truck and carelessly lets my wheel go and drops the wheel on it face. Causing curb like scrapes and scratches all over my rim. I confronted him about the situation showed body language that he could care less. Jerome said that Tesla would replace the wheel as a whole and it’s obviously not true. If I had known any better as a new Tesla owner I would have recorded the incident. I have provided pictures to show proof of damages. I do not recommend service from this company.
Ohare towing did us dirty. I have never wrote a review but this incident is unacceptable we talked to staff three times on moving a container for our company. Price after completing came to double. And took 2 hours . They stated on phone twice $500 flat rate due to tomatow moved same container 2 months ago for that price. I hate to write this but I feel like I got screwed .
Deplorable call service personnel! I called 3 different times. 1st time to inform them that my 72-year-old mother and my nephew was at their facility to retrieve a vehicle (which the personnel at this company had previously encouraged my family to go over right away to be assisted). The call center personnel stated that they would tell someone to come and answer the front door; we waited 15 minutes and no one came to the front door. Called back a second time and I was informed that the driver was out on a PD call, therefore we would have to wait until after he returns… the driver then pulls out the parking lot another 15 minutes later (after I was informed about the call), meaning he was available at least 30 minutes prior to the call. Final call to the customer service to inform them of what we just witnessed and the female on the call then tells me that 1: it is after hours and the driver must take a PD calls (nasty tone, and I wasn’t even disputing the driver taking the call). 2: the driver isn’t required to release the vehicle today, we could just wait until the morning (very threatening, like “since you want to complain…”) and 3: she informed me that she had already explained this to someone else (as if I was wasting her time). I then informed her that the information was not relayed to us, that’s why I was reaching out to see if this was normal practice, and there was no need to be rude. She hurried up to end the call and hung up. If this is how they treat their customers, I recommend you try your best not to require the service of this company.
Rob was EXCELLENT! He was very considerate and thoughtful. He took the time to explain how towing my car works and showed me all the safety measures he takes to insure that my car isn’t harmed in any way. He maneuvered the tow truck incredibly. At my home, he backed my car in the driveway exactly in front of the right garage door, right where I wanted it. Rob is excellent beyond all service people I’ve ever come across. I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful Rob was. A+ A+ A+
Jeremy the driver has superb driving skills! I was impressed with a couple tricky and tight spots that he easily maneuvered around. He was on time and took care of the situation. His calm and friendly demeanor really helped with what was already a stressful day of having to get my van towed. The prices are a bit on the higher end and charge extra for mileage that is outside their service area. However, with the professionalism that came with the service, it was worth it.
Omar showed up much earlier than predicted and was extremely professional, courteous and expedient. Took great care of my car till the very minute it was in the precise place I wanted it. I would highly recommend these guys.
After almost 2 hours, our roadside company couldn't find a truck, so I called O'Hare Towing directly. From the dispatcher to our driver Carl, the experience was professional and efficient. Rarely do I say they went above and beyond, but they did!
It was a special antique car and they had the right equipment and experience to move it with absolutely no damage. On top of that they arrived FAST and called ahead to confirm. The price quoted is what we paid and I feel they really cared about our car and being professional. At 12:30am that isn't easy and I applaud them for a job well done!
What we needed was a linch out- our son hit some ice and snow and ended up in a ditch. Rob was completely professional and all around awesome. He took amazing care of us. Customer service agents were extremely polite and gave great care. The entire experience was great.
Customer service agents were polite and helpful. However, when I initially called for service, I was told someone will meet me in approximately 90 minutes or so. Four hours later, I was still waiting with no word from anyone at the company.
At that point, I decided to cancel and reschedule. Was told that the weather was causing a delay. Totally understandable, but a call telling me someone would be out far later than expected would have been appreciated. Glad I wasn’t in an emergent situation.
That said, the following day, Eric, the service guy, called 10 min before arrival at my appointment time, as I had requested. He was courteous, knowledgeable, extremely efficient, and answered all my questions. He even waited to be sure my car was running properly and that I could get out of the my car out of the snow it was buried in before he left. Excellent service on his part! Thankful for his assistance!
Chris from O’Hare towing was outstanding. He was extremely careful with my vehicle and took time to make sure everything was handled correct. Had a double blowout On a rainy Saturday night. He came out at one in the morning and got me squared away. Very grateful. Excellent service. Very professional. Thank you Chris!!!
