Not a single person mentioned that you need to bring your driver’s license for check-in. So I’ll be the first: bring your driver’s license with you so you don’t have to walk back to your car.
If you arrive on time, you’re usually in and out. However, many loads end up late because brokers book them after the appointment time. They don’t want to pay detention, and as a result they don’t cover the loads properly or on time. On top of that, a lot of shipping and receiving staff on both ends are very rude.
When you’re late, they push you aside, which this is “common sense,” especially when you have a full load. In my case, I only had one pallet, it took them almost five hours just to get me a door. Once I finally had a door, they loaded me in less than five minutes. To make it worse, the guy left for the day and never even called me to get the paperwork.
I understand they probably deal with a lot of rude truck drivers, but I am not one of them. If someone cannot handle attitude issues professionally, they should reconsider the position or changing the job instead of taking it out on others.
Great place to pick up from parking is not for the inexperienced but very possible staff is cool and loading times aren’t bad and thank god they are not ran by capstone
Be careful they park these cars so close to the dock 33 so you hit them from the blind spot cant see them when u backing and is very tight probably wanna make some money from insurance is easy to blame truckers ?
A bit of a wait at the door one major thing that makes zero sense is them taking ur drivers license I figured they can make a copy but they hold it until ur done with ur pickup expect to be here for about 3 hours a little tight especially when drivers are parked randomly on the fence line for no reason as ur trying to back in making ur job alot harder
I had a very bad experience with this company. When I first went to the office near door 29, they told me to go to another office where “Shipping/Receiving” was written. Inside, it was very crowded and noisy, and it was hard to hear properly.
When I went to the other office near door 34, the staff acted like they were too tired of their job. They didn’t care to help me and seemed to work only for themselves, not for the truck drivers. As drivers, we are already tired and often sleepless, and this kind of behavior makes the job even harder.
I really didn’t like this place, and I never want to come back here again.
Backing isnt bad if you know what your doing.....office girl is very direct....no personality at all...and they do keep your CDL thst i don't like!! Make a copy put it on file...that doesn't to change...ither than tharshow up 15 min early for 5 pm ..got door rite away and loaded rite away
What can I say it’s a suburb outside of Chicago but it’s still feel like you’re downtown Chicago tight tight tight overnight parking is in the back,lookout staff park everywhere people walk everywhere just be careful. I don’t know how there’s not more fist fights or the police don’t get Call more often because of all the bs getting in and out of this place.?✌?
Arrived around 3:45 for 7 am appointment. Parked in back as instructed. Checked in right before 7:00, got a door right away. Easy enough with no trucks here yet. Got me loaded pretty quick. Out by 7:35
As a previous comments said, extremely tight docks. Blind side backing. Bring your CDL, trailer number, phone number. You will get your CDL back with the BOL after loading gets completed.
Warning, be very careful, two of receiving office girls are very cute, but don’t get caught on their cuteness, they are very rude.
Give your information, don’t ask questions and don't say hi bye or thank you, it will make them more angry. They are not respectful and always not happy to see you. Probably business owner hired them only for their cuteness, and ignored their ignorance. I am picking up load from them now more than a year, and treatment is the same as every time I come here. They are not happy to see me, and as so I am not happy to see them either.
Good service here but they really need more space. Drivers spend half their time jockeying for position to get in to a door or to make room so someone else can get to a door
Pretty good place. Backing in is not as tight as other people say. If you know what you are doing, it won't be a problem. Friendly staff. Don't arrive too early as there isn't any parking. I arrived 45 mins. early, got in a dock right away, they started loading within 15 mins. and I was loaded and rolling 15 mins. after my appointment time.
Extremely tight docks. Would not recommend coming here with a nice rig. They hold your license hostage until loading is done. Blind side backing between two trucks was fun. Check in is by door 32. Will NOT be returning here. Now for the positive…can’t think of any. Thank you :)
The first time here, for a pick up, had to drive down to door 32. There are stairs leading to check-in. Tight backing, especially if you get doors 36 or higher on the far end of the building. Even the other doors, if there are other trucks, it's tight. There's a wood fence and a concrete curb full of scrap marks. Just back slow and do multiple pull ups, it'll be OK. Checked in at appointment time got a door right away. The doors are spaced well. The hardest part of the whole thing is getting here. My GPS kept taking me down the wrong road then through a no truck route. I used Google maps and just didn't go down the no truck roads. As far as the shipper, they are fast to load, and everyone is professional. There will be a lot of trucks here, and it's a really tight area. Thanks, Lyons, for making it easy once I could get here.
The staff was friendly my appointment was for 3:30 got there around 2ish and was told that it might be before or after my appt time. There’s a staging area around back you just follow the roadway and you’ll hit it. Got called a little after my appt time. Which was cool they load pretty quickly. When you go to dock you’ll be turned around so you can bust a flip flop and back into your dock driver side. Kinda tight but doable.
They were very fast and very friendly. They loaded my trailer quickly! The only downside to this was I had to share the bathroom with a man. As a woman truck driver this was the most uncomfortable situation I’ve been in.
This company deserves zero star. One is to high for them.
Got here at 3 pm for an appointment at 3:30. Put me on the side and told me they gonna call me for dock. Went inside around 7 pm to see any updates. One of the employees told me the load is not ready yet.
Now it is 8:30, and I'm still waiting for a dock.

I was late on my Appointment today by 5 hours and I check N and got door immediately and loaded within 90 minutes and got my Papers quickly, tight docks But no way I complaining about this place and can’t wait to get another load from u guys.
Just met arrogance at its best a guy by the name Micheal claiming to be the supervisor just threatened me by saying it's either I leave my ID or just leave. No facility should ever force a driver to leave their ID behind NEVER. Just make a copy and give the driver back their ID. The only thing that made me not walk away and cancel the load is because I have another partial load inside my trailer, otherwise I could have left on the spot. 1st and last time in this pickup, they need to be trained in manners and being professional. If they need a form of ID just get it make a copy and do whatever you need but holding someone's real ID hostage will one day materialize in courts I guarantee these people that. They should put some respect and show it to truckers just like we show them.
Is it tight backing? Yes! Doors 36-38 best bet is to go around back, turn around and blind back into your door! All challenging but very easily doable if you take your time! Friendly and efficient staff! Only thing they could do different to make it better is if they drove and backed your truck in for you…… Will always take a pickup from here!
TIGHT DOCKS i came early before my pickup appointment they made me wait to almost my appointment time got a call for a door they take ur ID u will get it back after u get loaded
Arrived 30 minutes before appt time. Got a door right away. Very nice people at shipping and receiving and they give you clear instructions. Make sure you bring your license when checking in.
Docks hard to get into my hood is a victim of difficulty of docks 36,37,38. People are nice and load you quickly. But they should have a spotter truck to put your trailer in and out of the dock.
If your GPS is being temperamental it's because the entry is literally right before a residential. Don't keep straight! Bear left into the parking lot! Follow the wooden fence all the way down. Shipping/Receiving is situated between docks 32 & 33. I arrived about an hour early and was assigned a dock door immediately. The backing is hella tight. Not much space to set up. But that's just the opinion of a new driver. Staff was friendly. Was loaded and ready to go about 2 hours after my appointment time.
Fast loading usually 1-1.5 hours. Bring your DL with you when you check in. Not much room for staging or parking. Once you got green light pull out and park front of the shipping office and they will get you the seal and bring the ppw.
