Worst employee product knowledge I've ever experianced. EXTREMLY slow, unwilling to help, ignore waiting line and disappear. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

Needed wiper blades for car, sales clerk found the correct wiper blades for my vehicle and installed in minutes. Great service. He new how the come off in install the replacements.
Literally the best Autozone around their team is awesome. Every single time I’m in there they treat me respectfully and explain everything to me in detail! Luis, jackie, Eddie, Ezekiel, and genesis are the best!
My battery died and I had it jumped. My car started but I wanted to check if my battery was good or not. Dominique at the Auto Zone on Ogden ave in Lyons was so kind to check my battery. It was no good so he replaced the battery. The whole time he was so polite and had a smile on his face. I am so grate for Dominique to be such a hard working young man especially on a Sunday! Thank you Dominique!
The staff and surface at the AutoZone in Lyons is nothing short of amazing. My car wouldn’t start and they were kind enough to have a wonderful young lady come out to test my battery. She drove to my home, tested my battery, jumped my car, followed behind me to AutoZone, changed out the battery and tested my alternator. She was AWESOME!!! I had my four year old with me during all of this. The kind lady working behind the counter helped keep my daughter busy and was even showing her pictures of her cute puppy. Everyone working there was beyond helpful and pleasant. They made a very stressful situation much better. They’re all very knowledgeable and definitely went the extra mile with the kindness they showed me.
I am so grateful for Ethan! He is a lifesaver. I have been driving around for 3 days in the rain with a broken windshield wiper arm. It was broken by the wipers while going through the carwash tunnel at Rainstorm Carwash, 9545 Ogden, LaGrange, IL. The employees and management have totally disregarded me and my situation and had me driving around unsafely for 3 days while they gave me the ultimate run around. I decided I must take action myself. I went to AutoZone for help and Ethan provided excellent customer service by going above and beyond and did everything to fix the problem. I don't know if he fully understand how much he blessed and relieved me of a lot of stress (and money). He exhausted every option and did not stop until my problem was solved. Thank you Ethan!! I have come to this location A. Few times and there's young man here named Ethan. His service is amazing. He never makes you feel like your bothering him. And he always jumps to help you. Today it was raining and my passenger windshield wiper was having a major issue coming off. He sat out in the rain for 20 minutes to make sure that I was able to put my new one on!! that's amazing service. Ethan definitely deserves a raise! 5 star service!
Ran into a very odd problem and James not only took the time to talk with us he also went above and beyond to diagnose the issue. He then showed us how to fix it ourselves with the part he found we needed online. James was amazing and we will definitely be back after customer.servicw like that!

Needed My brake lights / bulbs replaced went to A different autozone in lyons, to purchase my bulbs, they couldn't figure out how to replace them, so I headed Further West and so glad that I did. I went in to your AUTOZONE and came across the nicest Sales person. He was able to assist me without a question, went out in 20 degree weather to replace BOTH of my bulbs for my rear brake lights. I definitely think not only did he go out of his way to help me, he was very friendly and personable as well.. Auto Zone needs more stellar, we'll mannered and helpful employees such as him. Had my son go to the Lyons location on Monday 2/13/23 trying to teach my son how to do oil change we’ll long story short. My son received the most rude and disrespectful service you can imagine and through the whole time I was on the phone with him. The girl that was asking him info on vehicle, her communication was like come on bra with a hood attitude and my son started to get nervous so I told him just tell her never mind thanks. At this point she started to raise her voice saying for real serious with an obnoxious loud tone. So I went back with my son and reported the rudeness and unprofessional service my son received to store mgr. She apologized numerous time. So I called the regional mgr and was told to inform district mgr which I did, and was told someone would get back to me. Well long and behold no has yet. Do not even waste your time going to this store simply go to Napa across the street and you will receive the most professional service possible.
I'm in a bit of a pickle, I manage an auto repair facility on the far south side but my Mom lives in North Riverside, I got a call late last night that her brake pedal was going to the floor and the red brake light popped on. Like any good son, I came over to take a look , master cylinder is almost empty in the front reservoir. Possible rear line leak, hard to tell....I need some brake fluid, but where can I go on Sunday late afternoon to get brake fluid, brake cleaner, and 5w30 high mileage engine oil....? 🤔 , you guessed it... AutoZone to the rescue, being a store manager and a mechanic with 22yrs experience my interactions with Parts people don't usually go the same way a weekend warrior coming off the street might get, sometimes they do... but I usually do everything I can to mitigate trouble spots or answerless questions. The gentleman at the counter Dominick was a scholar and yes....a gentleman, he helped me allocate my items quickly and efficiently. He was patient beyond measure while I tried to get my store discount applied, and after 15 failed attempts I told him to forget about it because I didn't want to hold him up this long, he still gave me a coupon as a professional courtesy and shop explained how to rebill on Monday when I was near my local store. I couldn't have been happier with the service, absolute Top notch and I will be back again. Thank you again Dominick for the great service, conversation, and all your help.
I was helped quickly as they had plenty of employees to help customers. I needed wiper blades. A young associate named Kevin even put them on for me. Great customer service. clean and organized store.
I ordered online for pickup and stopped by later that afternoon after receiving an email that the order was ready. I waited in line for 10+ minutes to find out that they only had one of the two items. According to the woman working there, the store was “a shitshow.” (This is what she said to her manager on the phone while I was waiting with my small child).
She said she would order from her hub and it would be there the next morning. I stopped by two days later and they still didn’t have the item or know about the order. This time the assistant manager was apologetic and said he personally would go pick it up from another store. when I came by the third time, they finally did have it.
They seem super disorganized and it was a pain having to go three times to pick up something I could have purchased from any of their competitors or online. It was also uncomfortable that none of the employees or customers were wearing masks during my three visits to the store. Masks are still required right now but it’s clear the people running this store feel that doesn’t apply to them.
Martin was amazing! I got a bulb from AutoZone and he put the bulb in for me when there was an issue with corrosion, that would have made it difficult for me to try to do myself. He was running around helping two customers at once. Truly a customer centered AutoZone. The best! Highly recommend.

My battery died and I had no clue what type of battery I needed. I called Auto Zone they looked up the number giving me the option to order one online, saving me having to wait in the store.
I successfully picked up the Battery and am forever grateful to have had DJ at the register. He was so kind. Not only did he carry my battery to the car, he installed it! Thank you Auto Zone for having such a wonderful employee, DJ, your the best!
DJ was extremely helpful! I walked in and he was very knowledgeable and got what I needed right away. He offered to help put on my new windshield wipers too! I really appreciate his help and will be back for sure!
Dominic was a GREAT help.I went there thinking I needed a new battery. He went outside and tested my battery as well as my alternator and starter. As it turned out it wasn't any of those but rather a bad battery post connection. He told me I needed a post cap, went in the store got it for me, I paid for it and he went back outside to put it on my car. I haven't had a problem starting my car since then. He was very polite, pleasant, and was helping another customer while helping me too. Employees like this are why I plan on making this store my new location. Thanks Dominic!
I needed a wiper blade for my truck and was hoping they would help me. Dominick that works at the Lyons Auto Zone did not hesitate to help me. Dominick was so friendly and kind and put it on for me. I came in to this store and needed to replace brake lights. One of the employees assisted me and helped me personally put the new bulb on. I was so thankful because my grandkids are in my car always and needed this done ASAP.
I will travel the 3 miles to this location whenever I need to because of your excellent service.
