Manager was trash. Very dismissive when trying to speak with him about getting a refund. They sold me the wrong part and wouldn't except it back. I didn't have the receipt but used my phone number when I made the purchase. Nothing at all came up for my number. My name was there but nothing I have ever purchased showed up. Trash.

I recently visited this location and was not very happy with the behavior of an Employee whom is a heavier set Hispanic Woman. I walked in and greeted her and she acted like I was an ex boyfriend instead of a customer. She started asking me idiotic questions about myself instead of being courteous and completing my transaction. I’m a friendly person that doesn’t ask for much other than basic professionalism.

Vince the manager at this location is simply excellent in helping me and other customers as I observed. I really appreciated his excellent customer service--excellent listening and communication skills--really made me feel comfortable and happy as a customer. He is very professional deserves this recognition. Just a PLEASANT person/professional to deal with.

I bought an electronic item in the morning, it didn't work properly and I went to return it and the employee didn't want to do the evaluation because he said that the manager has to do it and that I have to go another day, which seems simply stupid to me because why couldn't I return an item that doesn't work even if I bought it the same day, simply horrible and inefficient service

Pretty sure one of the employees that assisted me was drunk or had been drinking. Before I even entered the store he had parked next to me yelling pounding on his car. After testing my battery he firmly told me it was store policy, no returns on the battery that I had just bought from there. He was aggressive and on edge, left me shaken up. Definitely would not go there again. Had to talk to the manager.

I walked in at 3:15 hoping to get new window wipers, I walked in, and I noticed that the clerk was working with someone that was currently haggling him over battery prices. And they said they're waiting. There was no greeting no hello no I'll be there in one minute. Clearly I was waiting for his help as I stood right behind a gentleman he was helping. After maybe what was like 7/8 minutes they finally agreed on a battery. I stood there, just waiting, although no one had yet said anything to me and I didn't know how long I would be waiting. I overhear him tell the man that he's out of the battery so he says we could go look for another one so I'm like oh my God this is gonna take forever again and I just said hey excuse me I'm here to get window wipers. Is there any chance you can help me with that really quick and I could pay for them and leave where he then says I'm helping this man right now very rudely and that it was rude of me to interrupt it was rude of him to never even greet me or say hey I'll be with you in a minute or hey, what did you need? Could it be faster than what I'm doing right now? It was just like ridiculous customer service. he was rude and nasty and he needs to get a grip. If you're not capable of multitasking, you should have more than one person working in the front. When I asked for the manager's name, he just stared at me blankly when I asked for his name he just stared at me blankly. l all i wanted were windows wipers like whaaaat. it's like if he would've come at me with the energy of you know what ma'am my bad like I have to deal with this guy really quick. I own my own business i know customer service can be daunting but this was just really rude. 3:28pm 12/27/24

I had the pleasure of having Felipe assist me with my tire. I know nothing about it and he came outside to help which you don’t find these days. Advanced auto is lucky to have him as an employee he is such a great guy!!

Came to get battery replaced and was told to leave it to get a recharge so I did, come next day they tried telling me my battery wasn’t there. No type of customer support very bad service

Got a flat near the store and could not find a lug wrench. Spoke to Jennifer at the store and she borrowed a wrench for us to get back on the road. I thought it was a shot in the dark to ask and was very surprised by the quickness to help a stranded motorist. Thank you Jennifer for your assistance. Tip to store manager: We are losing people like her in this world, don't lose her! Thank you so much for your help!

Great store, always clean! Randy is the person that helped me out and doubled checked the parts were direct fit for my vehicle! This guy deserves employee of the month or some kind of award! Keep up the good work.

I like shopping for parts at Advance Auto Parts in general, but this location really showed me the amazing customer service they can provide. The auto tech, Vince, really helped us out with our battery issue. Didn't pressure us for a new battery purchase. Made sure our battery was cleaned to make sure it was still good. Thank you Vince and AAP team!

Rude customer service. I was standing in line waiting for the cashier to be done with a phone call when a man walked up to the register, the cashier preceded to hold up his pointer finger and tell me that he’ll be with me in a second as he began to ring up the customer. I was so mortified as he preceded to ring up the customer when he saw me patiently waiting in line first.

My father went the other day to check his engine light. Instead of coming outside to help, they just smiled and gave him the machine to do it himself. He describes them as laughing almost in an insulting way. He’ll get better service at Auto Zone.

As a customer I did go to this store and the 2 employees who were so helpful was Damien and Dennis they both said good morning to me and both said good morning and I told them year make and modle of my vehicle and they were so helpful and knowledgeable with the parts for my car ..I will always go to this auto parts store .

So I enter the store and I noticed 3 employees all on the computers. No one said hi someone will be with you shortly. I walked to the back of the store and grabbed some Lucas Fuel.injector cleaner and waited patiently in a line that only had me in it. The young lad on the far left computer went to the male and female to her left right in front of me and still not a word. So I walked back to the back of the aisle and placed the Lucas back on the shelf....the guy had the nerve to say he was about to ring me out.....how neither one of you had the common courtesy to say hi, acknowledge me for being in your store and ask me to wait... I shop often in Advance Auto and for this reason, I stopped patronizing AutoZone. What happened to the simple customer service? I went to the store on Grand and Mahehim and spent my money. I doubt If I would ever return to this location.

My husband and I went in looking for trim tool removers unfortunately there was none on the floor. However we asked a staff member Jose and he checked all the aisles where he thought they might be we told him it was ok we would check online. We were about to leave after a few minutes and Jose came out with the tool we needed plus another option. We really appreciate he went out of his way to check in the back for the tools we needed. He helped us check out and was extremely friendly. I enjoy coming to this location staff is always very helpful.

Went to this location looking for a tool and specific parts. The person that helped me was very friendly and assisted me in finding the part that I needed. As for the tool it was cheaper somewhere else and the price matched so I was happy to buy from them.

Dont remember the employee's name but he was so helpful and quick! Needed a battery , had went to 2 other stores (competitors) and I finally got helped here! Would recommend! Its worth the money!

I contacted the store regarding having them pull up my brake warranty information. Sarah or maybe her name was rosie refused to help me over the phone and told me to go in store then rushed off the phone. When I arrived they did not have the information available and told me to call their other location and find out myself. When I told her that she should try to be more helpful she refused to make any eye contact or address me further. When I finally got a helpful person he said the parts are warranty out. When I asked what this meant he said I dont know you have to call the other store. Again no help. Needless to say I will be returning the item to another location and going to their competitor moving forward

All the employees at Elmwood Park Advance Auto care about their customers! Always friendly, cool and helpful, offering advice and willing to help figure out exactly what you need. They genuinely want to help you get your vehicle fixed with minimal fuss. Excellent customer service all around.

Absolutely useless, walked into this advance Auto parts store simply for diy hoses, cut to length, first off I was never greeted when I walked in to this store, 2ndly I was walking around obviously looking for items when 2 employees walked passed without asking if I needed help with anything. Then I was waiting in line to ask for the hoses I needed for 20 mins before being helped, when the guy asked me what I needed I told him I just need a couple feet of hoses in size 3/4" and 5/16 he said he needs someone else to take me back there which was a first for me never had anyone say that before. Then waited in line yet again for another 1 0 mins while employees who clearly are doing nothing just stand around. Who ever manages this store either needs to fire some people or needs to be fired. This store is so terribly ran and dirty inside also so unorganized. Autozone isn't much better but at least I'm greeted and helped almost immediately. I will never come here again and advise you all to shop elsewhere until this store gets better management

Their prices online and in store dont match. Store prices are 20 to 30 % higher. Order online and go there to pickup your items or order from Amazon where it is even cheaper. Advanced Auto Parts was such a disappointment and wasted time. I ordered everything online for half of their store price but had to wait couple days.

Came to this store to get a bulb for my taillight. The counter had three people helping customers and one was finishing up so I was helped right away. My counter person was knowledgeable and knew right where my bulbs were in the store. He even went outside to look at my third brake light to see that all the bulbs were also working. I would definitely recommend this place.

I placed my order online and picked it up at the store. Very convenient option. Very helpful and friendly staff. Helped me to replace my car's windshield blades. I highly recommend the store.

Well I went into this locations in chicago yesterday, because I had warranty on some spark plugs. So we did the whole waranty thing and they ordered them because they didnt have them in stock and no one else did either and they said they would be there ready for us today at 11am so my fiance went to the store around 12 to go pick them up and they didnt have the order at all and tried to give my fiance a cheap brand and not the brand that we paid for and had waranty for. Gave him the complete run arround so unprofessional, completely lazy employees, very dissapointing. the employees gave us the complete run arround, so unproffessional.

I have nothing but good things to say about this location. Every time I've gone in, the person who waited on me was knowledgeable and friendly. I'm working on an older car, and most "kids" are clueless about carbs and distributors. This crew asks me how my car is coming along and that they want me to bring her by when I'm done with her.

Guy at the counter reluctantly looked over my way as if I was invisible. I told him I bought car battery on the website, and like to have it installed on my Honda Odyssey (I called earlier and was told they install car batteries). After looking at my car, he told me it would require "labor"... yeah, right... to remove a plastic cover and replace the battery... He never looked like he wanted to help, and didn't even seem to care. NEVER go back again.
