Ok. They seem like nice people. Went in, said what we needed - "yes, we can do that; we will order that. We will call." 3 weeks, no call, we call - "next week we will have; we will call." No call, we call - ""yes we have it in." Great! Coming in. We go in...... "oh, we don't do that, or maybe we do (that person couldn't do it) person who might would be in next day; they would call. No call. I called later and they confirmed they couldn't do what they original said they could. WASTED TIME. IF YOU PROMISE A CALL, DO IT.

I, needed a Battery for my Road Glide Special and found it at Battery plus. Great service. It was ready to go straight out of the box...

best place to get extra keys and fob for a car . they do key cutting and programming !!! Strongly recommend, great price compared to dealership price or locksmith prices !

(12/8/25) I came in today for a fob pairing to a used car I bought, that only had 1 key , the staff was very friendly, Sarah was outstanding and keeps it " real" with the customer honest pricing over the phone explain the warranty to me, even explain what to do if the battery ? fails in a emergency , will be back for any of my battery needs, thanks again ??

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at this facility. The first time I went in, Sara told me the issue with my control was “just a loose part” from the back and that they only needed to order the back piece. She said nothing else was wrong. Later, they told me the part was available at the Villa Park location, so I drove there — only to be told they didn’t have it. I also had asked the Guy to confirm if the part was at the Villa Park since It was a drive for me. Yet there is no consideration of my time. When I went back again, I was suddenly told that the entire control was supposed to be replaced from the beginning and that they were supposed to order it. It has now been about a week and more with no update. They have my phone number and repeatedly told me they would call me, especially after all the back-and-forth I’ve had to deal with over this one remote — yet no one has reached out. I even called today for an update, and they sent me straight to voicemail. Overall, the service is unorganized, misleading, and extremely unprofessional. Truly horrible customer service.

Amazing sales person. Younger girl. Very polite. Told me the options I had in changing my car fob battery. Checked to be sure I wasn’t already covered under their plan even though I told her I wasn’t. A very rare experience. I hope the company values her. You don’t get that kind of service anymore.

My experience at Batteries Plus was excellent. The young lady working at this location was personable, friendly, and efficient. She went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service and was very prompt in fixing my broken screen. I truly appreciate her professionalism and care—highly recommend this location!

Great place here, took my phone for a repair here, on an insurance claim yesterday. My phone was fixed in like 20minutes. Not that everyone's phone is gonna be repaired in that time. But, it was a great service. Both gentlemen ist this location were very nice, greeted us when we walked in to drop off and to pick up. Very easy and quick. Thanks guys!

Sarah taught me things about recharging lithium ion batteries that i never knew and saved me tons of money replacing the ones I had in my rv solar. You rock Sarah

I had great experience taking my phone to be repaired at Batteries Plus on Harlem. It was easy, convenient and the person that helped me was very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!

Called and she had a battery for my 2019 Subaru crosstrek. She said she would take my old battery and install the new one. I had called around and Costco had the best price. But they won't do installation or take your old battery. Batteries Plus had the best price plus when I talk to her she made me feel like they really were interested in customers. It was a great experience and she replaced my battery in less than 25 min.

The staff is always very knowledgeable about their products and what works best for whatever piece of equipment that I am purchasing batteries for and the batteries have always lasted way past their warranty. Great products

Paid cash for a battery, core charge was $24, their “policy” is to not return cash over $20. Returned to card I didn’t buy on, went through at cc processor, but now bank won’t process. Bad policy, bad experience.

I've had a cracked screen on my phone for a year now and had made the claim through my phone provider. When I made my appointment in January 2024, the gentleman told me that they didn't have the screen and will call me when they did. It's been a whole year and have been very patient until of recent my screen began to act funny. I called the store and asked if they had the screen. Sarah was the one who helped me and even apologized for the delay. She told me to come in as soon as I can with the new claim I made. Thank you to Sarah, I got a new phone screen and she offered to install my screen protector as well. Very appreciative of Sarah!

I've passed by the Elmhurst location several times. My first visit was referred location from Tmobil. The customer service was great. They took the time to explain the process. When the battery for my key fob went out, they were the first I thought of for replacement, because they left a lasting impression. I will be a returning customer and I recommend them for your battery needs.

I was sent here by TMobile for a cracked screen and was in and out in less than an hour. Phone is like brand new and the service was friendly and timely. The service guy was super nice and informative as well.

They get 1star because there’s not a lower rating. Never buy anything from Batteries Plus. They do not honor the warranty periods on their batteries. They will test it and say its good until its out of warranty. Even when the battery is not holding charge after 7 months. Spend your money somewhere else

Great Location and easy to access. Plenty of Parking. Sarah provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. She greeted me warmly upon arrival and thoroughly explained the watch battery replacement process. She even apologized for the time it took, though I hadn't noticed any delay. It was refreshing to visit your store and experience such respectful and courteous service.

Worst phone screen replacement experience.I never got my phone fixed even though I went twice with appointment. No communication they made me go to the appointment twice when there is no equipment to fix my phone, even though I confirmed the appt. They never called to communicate not to even waste my time going. They could care less . Never experienced something like this.

Samantha was very helpful — called after my order was placed to let me know the battery was already pulled and ready for pickup, and that the wrench I’d purchased was out of stock and she’d refund me when I came in to pick up the battery. Day of pickup, she was there again, lent me the sockets and wrenches I would need to remove the old battery and install new, and processed the refund for the wrench and my core charge all in one transaction. I’ve never been to Batteries Plus before, but I’ll happily patronize the Elmwood Park location again. Thanks so much, Samantha, for your excellent service.

The Oak Park location and the gentlemen that did my screen repair were absolutely wonderful! I would highly recommend this location to anyone needing a screen repair. Communication was awesome, and the customer service was amazing. I felt very welcome there and they patiently answered all of my questions.

I cane in the morning of April 10, 2023 to get my screen replaced. The entire team and general manager( lost card with names) were great. They were very nice and helpful and went above and beyond when we had a problem after the screen was replaced. They were very reassuring and fixed the issue. Thank you ❤️

I ordered a battery online. The order never said the battery was not in stock. I drove 20 minutes to pick up the battery to find out they don’t have it. How come a nationwide online store does not track inventory? How come the local store does not call to say don’t come, we don’t have it. The workers at the store never offered me a solution that benefited my business; they only canceled the order and said to buy from AMAZON. I called the support line, and they said there was nothing they could do to help me. If you want me to buy from Amazon, why do you even exist?

Great customer service, and even better work in repairs. Got my phone repaired and these people go above and beyond to get their work done. If any issue were to occur with my phone, I will be returning expecting nothing less but the best.
