Be wary of this company if they contract with your loan finance company.
I went through a difficult time after both my daughter and I were sick, and my car was ultimately repossessed in May 2025. I finance with Chase, and they made it extremely difficult to retrieve my vehicle. When they finally sent the release paperwork, I drove to the Whitestown, IN location, paid the tow truck driver, and he brought my car to the gate.
He handed me a key fob, which confused me (as I already had two key fobs), and I waited in my friend’s car. When I asked if I needed to sign paperwork, he stated that he had signed on my behalf. I told him I never authorized that, and he said, “he does that for all customers.” In what world is that acceptable?
I filed a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General because this fraudulent signature has now resulted in an extra charge on my account. Additionally, the paperwork claimed my SUV was in terrible condition — but aside from a few minor scratches, my car is in excellent shape. After reading other reviews, it seems this may be a way for them to avoid responsibility for damaging vehicles they tow.
While this was 100% our fault we had zero issue getting our truck back and all personal property we had in truck minus a couple dollars in quarters. They even stayed over until we got there. Would've gave 5 stars but truck had a few marks that will be dealt with and they made a new key after our financial institution told us to tell them not to because we had the keys they did it anyway. That's also being handled with our financial support team.
I had a horrible experience with Reliable Repo. When they towed my car, they left screws in my driveway, which I later showed them as proof. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was left waiting longer than necessary. I walked around to the side and saw someone attempting to repair my car using zip ties—without any communication or permission. I recorded and took pictures because the lack of transparency was shocking.
When I confronted the man, he brushed me off and told me to speak to the front desk. The woman there didn’t seem to know how to handle the situation and just told me to “wait and see” once the car was pulled out. Eventually, another man came out, and they moved my car into a shop garage to “properly” fix it—only because I had video proof of what they were trying to do without informing me.
On top of that, they claimed they didn’t have my release form, even though they did. They simply didn’t want to do their job the day before, causing me further delays. This company has terrible customer service, poor communication, and very unprofessional behavior. I would never recommend them. They need to be shut down !!!
We had a minor issue that happen and they all were very nice/ and super professional including management they helped us figure out the problem on why our vehicle was towed and helps us to get it back as well
Had multiple items stolen out of my car! Forced to give $60 cash with no receipt as well as key to retrieve solely personal property. Would not allow me to go near the car and brought my items to me in a jumbled in a garbage bag. Once again HALF OF MY PROPERTY WAS STOLEN BY RELIABLE RECOVERY SERVICES! This place needs shit down… was also told by “gate keeper” that my car wasn’t the first to have items stolen from….
This is the MOST corrupt little company around. They have shady business practices and do not own up to anything. They towed my car and damaged my entire front end. They said they would fix and still give me the run around. 1 year later and car is still trashed. Now they have no phone number.
I went to pick up my car....didn't have any problems they were nice and friendly and nothing was missing out of my car....how ever they did break my mounted phone charger

A friend of mine had her car repossessed. She's going through a very hard time/divorce.
All of her belongings, her kids car seats and her son's favorite night time blankies was in it. The woman on the phone refused to help her get her stuff back. And was extremely rude. When she went with the police they said they were closed until Tuesday and couldn't give at least the blanket back!! How hard would it have been to hand over the blanket. This disgusting. Looks like many many people have had issues.
The absolute worst experience of my life. My car was paid and the release was sent on Friday, and I now have to wait until the next Thursday to retrieve my car that has already been PAID FOR because the Pontoon Beach location is only open on Thursdays for a few hours… work hours might I add! They will be hearing from me very soon because it seems as if they do not need so many locations because they do not have enough people to work them.No one is attempting to accommodate me, why is no one available to get me my car that is supposed to be released at any other time??? RIDICULOUS
They stole my Pandora Bracelet I got for my Birthday. Literally ripped opened my Birthday bag and stole!!! All my new dresses and nice clothes they STOLE!!! All missing!!!!! Reliable Recovery Towing also stole my license plate sticker and I had to go to the DMV and purchase a replacement sticker. Flagship Credit is doing business with a horrific company. Flagship Credit Acceptance and Reliable Recovery NEED to take full responsibility for reimbursement of my belongings and me paying for a new tag! Flagship knows Reliable Recovery Towing company steals by their reviews and numerous reports to the BBB. I also emailed and called Reliable Recovery with NO response via email or phone about my issues. Awful company!!!
They stole everything worth money and left all the garbage in my car in a bag I told the guy I needed to talk to him about my stuff and he slammed the garage door and never answered it he would not come outside he would not answer any doors if you get repoed or if you have your car stolen most likely they are the ones who stole it from you. Stole a car off our lot. We’ve had customers cars repo’d before but they always check in with us first to be sure there is no bill. They are also supposed to check in with the police department so they are aware. Well the rules don’t apply to these guys folks! What a joke!
The only reason we were able to figure out it was them was they sent the certified letter to the customer here.
Horrible company. This is the company that monitors our parking lot. We are a property management company and the phone number on the sign never picks up the phone and the managers number that I was given to report unauthorized cars also doesn’t answer. The manager never responds. Until sometimes he responds days later. I don’t know if he’s on drugs or some personal problem. They have been operating like this for years but recently it’s gotten way worse. The way I met this company is through the owner himself and I even have text the owner and the last 2 times I text him he hasn’t even responded. I think this company doesn’t even operate anymore or doesn’t even care. It’s very disrespectful and disappointing.
Do not leave anything in your car worth monetary or sentimental value . They will tell you mold grew inside your car and that instead of calling you about disposing of it, they will just throw it away without notice . Then cannot tell you when they threw it away for insurance purposes .

First of all these sneaky rats wait until 3:30am to come take my vehicle which I got no problem with them taking it. I'd rather them at least let me get my property out first bc its a hassle to get back. Not only that a majority of my personal belongings were missing. They threw all my stuff into a trash bag that had holes in it so it's hard to tell what was lost bc of that. You can only schedule appointments on 3 days a week. Im not happy about my property being taken. Tools missing, a debit card that was in my center console is missing (I canceled it so good luck) and various other things missing.

Vehicle repossession was my fault and no one else. I had medical issues and financially could not keep up.
Lady at office in Illinois office is very rude and unprofessional. Unbelievable that people have to be so rude and impolite.
Went to pick up vehicle at the Whitestown Indiana location. This was an experience. Lot attendant was a chippy fellow.
Coped a major attitude because he could not get in vehicle as for they locked the fob they had made in vehicle.
Was told to go get vehicle myself. Walked around vehicle and noticed damage that was not there before vehicle was picked up.
I was told by the unfriendly lady if there was damage report it to the attendant.
I reported to the fella and did he become defensive, I showed him the damage and he said that the vehicle was wrecked before. Where he was pointing to was not even where I showed him.
We have a ring video of when vehicle was picked up, dragged vehicle, 0.3 tenths of a mile to the next street. Dropped and hooked to front and damaged front of vehicle.
They did not want to talk about that so the little fella walked away and told me to call office. Which I did and amazingly no one answered the phone, and what is more amazing they have an option on there answering service for complaints.
Review of Reliable Repo Services:
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Reliable Repo Services regarding the repossession of my vehicle. While initially the process started off smoothly with the assistance of Kevin and Lauren, things took a turn for the worse when I discovered that my car had been damaged while in their possession. Despite their initial assurance to fix the damages, the subsequent handling of the situation left much to be desired.
Firstly, I was disappointed to find that no loaner vehicle was provided, and the offered reimbursement for transportation expenses did not adequately cover the costs I incurred to retrieve my car. Additionally, I was informed that going through my own insurance was not an option, which further complicated matters, especially during the Thanksgiving holiday period.
Upon receiving my vehicle a week later, I discovered that no repair order or documentation regarding the damage had been provided, despite my explicit request for it. This lack of documentation made it difficult for me to proceed with any necessary insurance claims or future repairs. Furthermore, the reimbursement check I received for my transportation expenses was incorrect, leading to further frustration. When I brought this to their attention, I was met with rudeness from Lauren, who accused me of submitting duplicate receipts.
Throughout the following month and a half, I made numerous attempts to contact Kevin and Lauren, seeking reimbursement for the damages and the proper documentation. However, it was a challenging task to reach them, and I was repeatedly told that they were too busy to address my concerns. This lack of responsiveness and the dismissive attitude towards my claim gave the impression that they were simply trying to avoid addressing the issue.
When I finally managed to speak with Kevin, he claimed to have received none of my messages and dismissed my claim as old. This lack of accountability and transparency was disheartening. Furthermore, the lack of clear instructions on how to proceed with obtaining reimbursement was frustrating. Despite Kevin's instruction to email him, I was directed by Lauren to visit their office in person with the receipts. However, when I arrived as instructed, both Kevin and Lauren claimed to be too busy to assist me, with Lauren even asserting that I was no longer considered a customer. This unprofessional behavior, including ignoring my presence and taking personal calls, further exacerbated the situation.
It was only after I began recording the events that Kevin's attitude suddenly changed, and he assured me that I would be reimbursed by the upcoming Friday and provided with the necessary documentation for the damages on my car. However, as of now, I am still awaiting the promised reimbursement check and repair order/invoice.
Although my experience there was for my repossessed 2018 Jeep Wrangler they were super kind they were respectful of my vehicle and I did get my vehicle back from an auction house a couple days later but it was totally unharmed so I appreciate reliables professionalism.
Terrible services. Yes my car got repossessed (my fault) but I was trying to pay to get it back but the lady in the office was a younger lady and very rude my wife was trying to get all the information so I could get the vehicle. She told us we had to pay $195 to them to get the car plus what was owed to finance company and then they were sending the finance company ADDITIONAL BILL OF $400. She was asking for them to send the bill so it wouldn’t get their ADDITIONAL $35 in the lot fee !! But of course it was just received today!! Days later even though when my wife called she said two hours that day but didn’t do it. We did the option to just get our personal property back and OF COURSE HAD TO PAY $80!! Just got my personal stuff. They wouldn’t even let you get your own stuff out they just threw it all in a black bag. Also required you to give them the key to get your stuff back. Terrible service. The only good service is the older lady my wife spoke to yesterday. The younger one just has a terrible attitude doesn’t give all information in the beginning about everything just what she wants to tell you. The gentleman where she picked up the car was also a nice guy just works for a terrible company. They are just money hungry on everything!!!
I called everyone in town and noone would help us. A 18 wheeler's tire came off and hit my tire. I had my kids with me and had been on the side of the road for at least 2 hours. I called and talked to Dave. Dave came and changed my tire for me while on his way to another job. These are great people and Im so grateful they helped me that night. Thanks guys !!!
This place is corrupted like no other.. They take only cash because the swiping device is broken since minimum 6 months. Each owner has a corvette or a Porsche parked outside right outside in front of the main entrance and no parking for any customer. There's 3 rude ladies working in the office. I had to wait outside over 15 minutes because one of them just started her break .
Horrible and unprofessional business. I do not understand how this establishment is low on staff and will tow cars without giving people the option to pick up the car. This man who ever picked up the phone said that I can not pick up my car because today because they do not have anyone in the office. Well, Why TF are you operating a business and you are not even there? and people have to pay an extra fee because they can not pick up the car at anytime. Just Horrible! This man told me that I have to wait until 8am the next day to pick my car up. That does not make any sense. Why are you towing cars if people can not pick their car up ? Hire more staff. This is not our problem. We are still in a pandemic.
Cheryl was very polite and helpful. My car was brought out right on time with no damage and nothing missing. They also jumped the vehicle for me. The gentleman that brought the car out stayed with me to make sure I received all my paperwork from the office. Everyone there was very pleasant. Great Experience. Not what I was expecting at all. Car was towed one Saturday night now it’s pulling to the left as if they messed up my steering. My fuses are now blew as well. I went to pick up my car and person who went to get it was not wearing a mask or glove. I’m 9 months pregnant putting me at risk. He wasn’t wearing one when I had to signed paper work on tablet neither. I went inside and told the office person she stated he would re-cleaned (spray car) car. The guy came back with some type of spray, paper towel, and a mask but no gloves. I’m still waiting on Manager Kevin to call me with tow truck footage. This has been since last Tuesday/ Wednesday. Update he never called back.....
This place is a joke! They lose your stuff and then tell you to file a report with the PD. They have pictures of my brand new car seats but claim they can’t find them. I sat for two and a half hours waiting while they “searched” for my belongings. I understand what their job is and it’s not to steal other people’s things!!
Horrible place!!! My car was towed on Sunday night. I was not aware of it until Early Monday morning. When I got there to (Rel.Rec) to claim my vehicle the lady at the front desk had an attitude... The Driver drove my car around for me to pick up I noticed a loud excruciating sound coming from my car. It sounded like a VERY Bad muffler. I was surprised and VERY upset that my car would sound like that!! It definitely didnt sound.like that prior to them towing it! I was told it maybe my Catalytic Converter that was damaged. I will be persuing legal counsel!!
Reliable Recovery did an outstanding job with my case. Everyone there was very polite and courteous. They asked me to check my vehicle before I drove off and it was in the same condition as when they took it. Everything I owned was still where I left it. This was a very professional place. I was very embarrassed to be in a situation like that, but not one employee made me feel judged or small. Despite the circumstances, I had a very good experience.
This company prays on the old. My mother had clear identification of her handicap plackard in her vehicle. We had a moving truck that we placed in a handicap spot so they can get in the truck safely. The driver shows up and tells my mother that he is going to tow the truck unless she gives his $550. He blocks the truck so we coukd not move it oug of the spot and then says if he takes the truck then it will be a thousand dollars to get it back. She has to have a neighbor take her to an atm and we had to transfer funds into her account to get this truck released. I call the office and speak with the supervisor to advise him of this and he became hostile and said your mother is at fault and we have to make our money somehow. The absolute worst company i have ever heard of. He is very lucky that i was in a store buying her groceries and could not get there in time to record his shoddy tatics.
